Try downloading Samsung Smart Switch then plug your phone in. See if there are updates available. If all else fails reinstall the newest firmware with Odin.
Not helping. Tried this before

If you can get into download mode you have to be able to install stock Samsung firmware via Odin and flash back to stock.
I did this but issue was same. I guess no one knows what the issue is, even not samsung.
Btw I returned the phone. Thanks for help. ?

I have the S7 Edge SM-G935F, which is the exynos version I believe.
It starting with unrooting, which boot looped my device. I have tried samsung kies firmware recovery but the download always stopped at a certain percentage saying an error was found in the dowloaded file. I tried to fix it by flashing what I believed was the stock bootloader with odin but that made my problem worse.
It turns on and shows a red coloured screen, and the voice assistant kicks in to babble but seems to not respond to touch at all. I think I can go into download mode, because I've seen a shop assistant get into it when I took it to see if they can fix it. Unfortunately It would cost 230 euros, which I cannot afford. And in case you are wondering, no I didn't buy the phone. I got it as a birthday gift, as I never owned a smartphone before that.
I loved trying out apps and tweaking the phone with root, but unfortunately I wasn't careful enough.
Is there any hope for me? Thanks in advance if anyone could help me out.
EDIT: Thank you to both replies! I did as you said and I downloaded the correct firmware. It seems the one I flashed before was actually incompatible. Everything works now thought, I lost all data but better than having no phone.

Go to sammobile.com, create an account & download the latest firmware for SM-G935F. Install Samsung Drivers on pc. Boot device into download mode. Extract the downloaded firmware and use odin to flash it.
In case you don't know there are 2 S7 phones, S7(930F) and S7 Edge(935F) and their firmware files are not exactly interchangeable.
I think you might flash s7 firmware on your s7e since red screen is the same symptoms when you flash S7flat kernel on S7 Edge. The fix is easy, just reflash again with the correct file.

I was trying to root my at&t s6 edge+ using Odin. As soon as the process completed, my phone froze on Samsung screen. Then I tried wiping cache and data but nothing worked. I downloaded few stock ROM for Odin but flashing keeps on failing. I read in some thread that new Samsung devices do not support downgrading. I went and checked my current build number and found that to be G928AUCS4CPK1. However, the firmware I was trying to flash were older version.
Has anyone experienced similar issue before? The main problem here is I cannot find the exact build number anywhere. I spent a lot of time searching and finally decided to post here.
Your valuable suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
hey man, you flashed an older version of the firmware? even if it wasnt bricked, your phone is essentially useless now. the efs is gone, meaning you cant make phonecalls or connect to wifi at all. sorry; your phone is bricked. perm.
download mode dosen`t work ?if so the only thing you can try is to use samsung kies to restore your phone but don`t know if that works
I done something similar to my standard S6 Edge the only difference was i was able to start it up ok and i thought everything was ok until i realised i had no reception. I so happened to notice my imei number was gone. I had no back ups of the partition that saved this info so i totally bricked my phone.
I did however find a website that would be able to do a work around ( for a fee of course) for it however it does question your morals as its essentially illegal in alot of countries. I dont want to post anything on here so if you want any info send me a PM.
Exact same thing happened to me... went to AT&T repair center but they didn't have the 'K1' firmware..
anyhow managed to find the latest firmware (gsm-firmware.com)... cost me $4, but the phone is up and running... I only flashed the AP file.. also used Odin 3.12.5..
Hello,
My dad bought a samsung s5 duos about 2 years ago, recently it started to hang and freeze then it went into a bootloop. I have tried flashing through ODIN the firmware but I cant get the phone to boot.
Its stuck now on recovery booting in blue at the boot screen. I tried flashing twrp through odin and using the option Emergency software recovery and initialization in Smart Switch, but both options gave me the same result.
Any help/guidance would be truly appreciated.
Try to search to the latest MM bootloader and modem and flash it by odin

Thanks for the help guys. I took it to a shop and had it fixed, turns out it was a hardware issue not software.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have a similar problem with my phone. I've used odin and the latest firmware, cleared cache, factory reset, new battery, etc. But seems to just be getting worse. Did they tell you what the hardware problem was?

Hello, they didn't tell what the issue was unfortunately.
Hello there,
I've spent my entire day trying to fix my Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F), without much success.
So what happened was that the phone would occasionally freeze, turn it's self off and reboot into download mode and say that it wasn't able to boot normally. But it usually just booted after pulling the battery.
So I thought I would just try to install the stock firmware(4.4) and go from there. And that worked fine (eventually) but the problem remained.
Why not try again, I foolishly thought. So I tried to download a more recent firmware(6.0), but it wouldn't install completely. It got stuck in Odin around half, saying: "FAIL!(WRITE)". Tried again using the older firmware(4.4), but the same result.
Now whenever I try to turn on the phone it immediately jumps to download mode saying that something went wrong while installing the firmware.
I have done a couple of things to try and resolve this issue:
- I have tried to flash BL,CP,AP and Pit from a recovery firmware without much luck.
- I have tried using Odin 3.09 and 3.11.1
There was one thing that kinda helped once, which was flashing twrp and all of a sudden it worked and actually turned on. But genius me decided that I had to try again and update to the newest version. Which wasn't really smart because again the flashing of the firmware failed.
If anyone could please help me out. I have spent nearly two days trying to fix this darn thing. I really just want it fixed

I hadn't, I google searched multiple times for such a topic, but didn't find any.
Besides using the SD card to flash the firmware I had already tried what was listed there.
But for the sake of it, I tried again. For some reason, this time it did work!
Many thanks for the tip!
I'm just left with one question, the recovery firmware you provided in the topic is german, but I have a Dutch phone. Will that create any issue's with network connectivity?

First, flash that recovery firmware, once your device starts working normal, flash your region specific stock rom from sammobile.

Thank you so much for your help. I tried to see if the initial problem was resolved, but it still isn't. The phone sometimes doesn't boot and goes straight into download mode. I'm starting to think that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Must be hardware.
Anyway, i would do this
- flash twrp for Note 4 (look for it) from odin
- fladh rom from twrp (not from odin)

I have a Note4 that had Android version 4.4.4. I wanted to upgrade to 6.0.1 but the Odin failed at the last step (hidden.img I believe). Now, on reboot it goes to Firmware has encountered an error. Use Kies. I tried Kies but it says that SM-N910F is not supported for initialising.
Next, searching online, I found a PIT file and used that. No luck. Same issue. I guess, I screwed up now since original partition is probably lost. Question however is - can I recover in any way? Kies and Smart Switch both fail to recognize device.
Ths SSN is N910FGSMH. It is UK model I believe but I don't know which operator. What are my options at experimenting and recovering? I had tried N910FXXU1DQHC_N910FEVR1DQH1_EVR and then EVR-N910FXXS1DQG5-20170731165019 ODIN files.
Hi, agaurav
Did you get to a solution?
Thanks
I did but I don't remember the solution at all. I am not good at these things so don't know which website and what instructions helped me get this working more than a year back.
Sorry, can't help now.
