[Q] is there a custom kitkat ROM with these features...

...hi I am searching for a android 4.4.2 kitkat custom ROM with:
Lock screen Notification
Halo
PIE (from PA )
Is there an ROM withe these three feature here in forum?
I don't find it.

Most of roms have these feature

So please tell me one.
I think there is no kitkat with the new original pie because source code release yesterday

It has SlimPie. What's the diference? I used both PA Pie and SlimPie and i see no difference

SlimPie is activate on every place on site bye swiping.. PA pie only in middle of the site..

I have tried other roms but every time back to beanstalk because it has many features like Pie (Slimpie) , Halo, Xposed,Animations, Lockscreen, Multiwindow, Active Display etc. and it is very stable But there is only one main developer and you can't get nightlies every day. Furthermore, the rom doesn't support many devices, but Nexus 4 of course http://www.goo.im/devs/beanstalk
I use AK Kernel and Philz Touch Recovery but you can test every cm (caf) kernel you want

at the momen i am on mahdi rom
thoght about saber driod but there is no halo include

Okey cool I also tried different roms like Carbon, Aokp, liquidsmooth ect, (I love roms with many features ) but now Beanstalk is my daily driver. With AK kernel and Philz Touch it is the best setup for my at the moment :good:

i tesed this rom but there is no lockscreen notifiaction.
i also was testing ParanoidSaberDroid - AOSPAL - remix but there is no halo
booth has pa pie but one no halo and one no LS Notifiaction and the devs of these roms dont want to include :8

If you want a ROM with all those PA features why don't you get lastest PA and wait for hover (halo successor). Pie and peek notifications are already out. Why look for a ROM with old features if you can get the new ones from the same people that made the old ones?

Im tired of seeing these Note 7 roms and I want to relive these Cyanogenmod days but Cyanogenmod is dead. Is there a possibility that there is a way we can get developers to build a rom for the superiour Note 4? I like Lineage OS because of its OTA function that releases bug fixes and updates. Im not offending anyone or anything... Its just not my taste. Thanks

I hope you don't want to run Xposed because it won't work on any 7.X ROM.
And Substratum won't work 100% on Lineage due to LOS likely using CMTE when they introduce theming soon.
Get yourself a proper working 6.X AOSP ROM and be much happier.
I wish devs would stop working on 7.X and fix their 6.X stuff.
7.X sucks IMO.

I think 7.X is a big milestone for the Note 4 since Samsung wont release any more upgrades anymore due to its age. I know some people who want 7.X so bad but their good phones are "TOO OLD" but thanks for your advice but I will sit here and wait til someone builds it.

Look in the Verizon section. They have LOS for T-Mobile.

Pdesireaudio support (tricky because op3 already supports it in a different way)

I'm just waiting for some stuff pushing to git. When it's done I'll release the first public build

Currently everything is untouched except the ROM
When I actually decide to modify the kernel, you'll see it on my github here https://github.com/anupritaisno1
For now I'm just using the stock lineage kernel without any modifications at all
I'll update the thread with sources in a few minutes

[ROM][7.1.2] AOSPA 7.3.0 - Onyx New Build Released

Hi guys,
I want to notice you that a new build of Paranoid Android is available on the official site

The AOSPA 7.3.0 comes with various bug fixes and performance improvements.
I'm testing to discover if major bugs were be resolved.
For now, overnight freeze was not occurred.

gestures - works
unlock phone with face - work
viper fx - doesnt work

I was writing from my phone and I made mistake.
I'm not the mantainer of this ROM. I only found the post on xda (not the forum) with Onyx specifically bug fixes.
Although OVERNIGHT FREEZE still occurred!
I'm switching to AOSCP 'cause in AOSP 8.0 the equalizer don't work (even with Magisk and modules) and the battery drain in higher than normal!

With the PA from the firt release to the last 7.3.0 every morning the opx is dead and the alarm don't ring. I have to press power button to force the restart. How can I resolve? Thanks

Yep thats what I want to say...why people so curious about this ROM if they doesn't even know who is maintainer for this ROM..People here creating threads to share issues but don't know who is going to solve.

The ROM seems fine and functional but it doesn't seem to use OOS camera blobs so you can't get manual mode in any camera. Why are we hell bent on having crappy camera software?

This is a thread for PA marshmallow. Not Nougat.
The original thread for PA Nougat is closed because the dev had to quit.
There were no communication from PA team to OPX users which is quite sad (because that means that we won't have "full support". NB : I'm not criticizing the team).

When I tried the 7.3.1 before coming back do LOS 14.1, it didn't work (I had to backup and re-format to FAT32).

Paranoid Android bug for OPX
I have a really serious problem here. I flashed my OPX the rom with nano g-apps as mentioned in the thread. Initial set up was fine. I configured personal settings. Now the device sometimes hangs during the usage. It just hangs while I'm using. Not a particular app or particular thing but it suddenly stops working and gets stuck. I then have to press power button for like 30 seconds to reboot it. I thought this is because first time but then this kept repeating and I'll be battery less if it continues.
Any help? If you wanna see some kind of bug report for my device, please tell me where I would find it to upload here.

PA is not updated anymore by a dedicated dev to OPX. So specific bugs won't be solved.
I'd advise to try an other rom...
Except that , you can try a custom kernel on it if it's possible (at one moment, RJ blocked kernel installation... Don't know if still the same.)

[Request] Sailfish OS for Xiaomi MI A1

Hi guys, I'd like to ask someon familiar with Sailfish OS to create port for our phone. As I know there is already phones with sailfish onboard using same chip.

as far as i know the development scene for this phone is pretty dead, i doubt anyone will port sailfish.. there is no single custom rom.

Most ports are based on Lineage OS. Anyway we need some expert opinion who have expirience with Sailfish.

Please check this out. We have almost stable LOS 14.1 and the intentions of the developer is to move to Oreo now; however, as his boards are approaching, there will be silence again. Good new is LOS is fully fictional with small bugs.

Thats great news! As a part of Sailfish OS LOS 14.1 will be good, I saw MI 5 is developed on it.
We just need someone to make it happen.
This consists of:
• Sailfish OS core (Mer): the GNU/Linux userspace core
• Android Hardware Adaptation (HA/HAL), consisting of:
• Device-specific Android Kernel
• Binary device drivers taken from an Android ROM (e.g. CyanogenMod)
• The libhybris interface built against the binary drivers
• Middleware packages depending on hardware-specific plugins
• A Qt/Wayland QPA plugin utilizing the Android hwcomposer
• Sailfish OS components
