http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2323783
This issue is occuring coz of some bad file or apps after updating to latest firmware

The final resort way a hard reset.. bt just came to know that some previous aaps/data might have gone mismatched to the new firmware..

Hello,
I have an issue.
First of all I unlock my Galaxy S4 with a code bought on Sim Unlocker.
I can go to internet, receive message text but when i want to call someone the galaxy S4 bug, the screen doesn't answer and the menu bar "flash" I have to wait during 20-30 seconds before to return on my home screen. In add the wifi doesn't work anymore.
My phone is not rooted and my firmware is the official "ORANGE".
Please, HELP. :crying:

Hello,
My dad bought a samsung s5 duos about 2 years ago, recently it started to hang and freeze then it went into a bootloop. I have tried flashing through ODIN the firmware but I cant get the phone to boot.
Its stuck now on recovery booting in blue at the boot screen. I tried flashing twrp through odin and using the option Emergency software recovery and initialization in Smart Switch, but both options gave me the same result.
Any help/guidance would be truly appreciated.
Try to search to the latest MM bootloader and modem and flash it by odin
Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
www.sammobile.com/firmwares go there, download the latest tar.md5 for your phone, flash it in Odin. its a super slow d/l, but it s the original source, directly from samsung
heres your specific device link

Thanks for the help guys. I took it to a shop and had it fixed, turns out it was a hardware issue not software.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have a similar problem with my phone. I've used odin and the latest firmware, cleared cache, factory reset, new battery, etc. But seems to just be getting worse. Did they tell you what the hardware problem was?

Hello, they didn't tell what the issue was unfortunately.
Hey, I really need help with my S8 with android 8.0. I had these random restarts on my phone and I thought I'd try factory reset. I backed up all my data using smart switch and did the factory reset and wiped all cache partition. Now I'm getting this dm-verity verification failed error. I found online how to fix it, but it says that my warranty will be voided. I've been using my phone for 6 months now and I've never rooted or installed custom ROMs. So what can I do to fix my phone asap?
So sorry for bad English.

Best thing to do would be to repair firmware via smart switch
http://www.blogtechtips.com/2017/06/24/easily-restore-samsung-device-firmware-with-smart-switch/
If that doesn't work then you'll need to use an application called Odin to flash the firmware for your phone, if you've not used Odin before then I suggest you try the above 1st

When I connect my phone to PC, smart switch says The connected device is not supported by smart switch
I might then get a DRK error, right? https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/dm-verity-error-drk-error-t3709032
Would warranty still fix my phone?
Fixed
Warranty fixed it. Motherboard was changed.

Same with my brother's S8+, DM Verity error cannot be solved without tripping Knox/warranty.
The only way you can have ur phone be fixed is via hardware replacement.
My brother's fone was fixed by samsung repair center and got his phone working again.
