Gallery glitch - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Is there anyone else also experiencing this? And any solution? As it is very frustrating.
It is like, when you click an image with the camera holding in a vertical position. And then you view the same in the gallery, the photo opens half (like it is shrinked and the whole image is badly shown) and then the photo expands to full screen (normally displayed).
Thanks

Nope. Just tried it on my S8 in both landscape and portrait mode. Works fine.
Maybe clear cache and data on gallery and camera?

[Q] picture gallery

Is there a way to get all of the photos when viewing with the gallery to fill the screen without having to switch to landscape mode?
On my windows phone, using HTC's album viewer and scrolling thru the pics, they always were rotated the correct way as to fill the screen without having to rotate the phone, whether they were taken as portrait of landscape pictures.
This is a bit annoying.
Oh, and a second question, how about a way to make the gallery go into camera shots by default when I push the gallery shortcut.
Thanks all wise android gurus.

Gallery - picture rotate issue

Hello,
Recently I did a clean install of XenonHD 4.2.2 ROM,
I have an issue with the Gallery / Camera,
When I take a picture in portrait mode , then swipe to the left to see the picture on the gallery , It shows in landscape mode so I need to rotate manually,
The Auto Rotate is active on the phone,
Any ideas what could be the reason?
Thanks,
Does that happen with every single photo you take? If you're not holding the phone straight, then it's probably switching orientation, but that's not easily noticable from the camera app if you're just trying to take a quick shot.
Yes , with every picture,
Maybe I need to wipe and re-install the ROM and see what happens,
MY N4 works well with the same ROM , my Bro N4 has this issue,

[Q] Picture Orientation

It seem that the G2 takes all pictures in landscape mode and uses exif data to tell the viewer to rotate the image if it was taken in portrait orientation. This is totally annoying especially for mms and for viewing thumbnails in outside viewers like windows.
Any solutions on how to actually have the stock camera take a picture in portrait mode and actually store the pixels as as a portrait?
Thanks.

Hi, did you ever find a solution for this? It's so annoying, but there is almost nothing to be found about it on the Internet..
Hope you can help.

Gallery glitch no solved :(

If you click a photo holding the phone camera vertical and later then go to the Samsung gallery app and pinch to zoom out and open that image, you will see it is shrinked and once opened it pops to normal from shrinked state.
Not totally pinch to zoom out though.
