I have an S7 Edge 935A from ATT but I can't downgrade to marshmallow.
Was anyone succeeded downgrade to marshmallow on an ATT phone?
But this is the S5 section Anyway, i guess if your bootloader is locked you need to unlock it somehow first (no clue how) or if it's unlocked just download your phone's firmware from sammobile and flash with Odin.
I don't believe the bootloader is locked. You need an at&t stock 6.0.1 ROM and Odin to flash it. Or you can flash a custom recovery and flash a custom ROM like resurrection remix or lineage 13.1 for marshmallow.

I am trying to update my bootloader from Lollipop G900FXXUU1BOD3 on my galaxy s5 using ODIN V3.12.3, to MARSHMALLOW Bootloader so I can flash a MM rom - Where do I find a bootloader and modem that will work with my device on mm in the UK?
sammobile will have the Marshmallow firmware which includes bootloader and modem. Flash that to be on stock unrooted marshmallow. You will lose your custom recovery if you had one before and will need to flash a new one.
If for whatever reason you want only the bootloader and modem - they can be extracted from the zip file via winrar.
I haven't flashed anything on my phone since a PD8 firmware with the custom kernel months ago. My device is rooted.
Can I straight flash the Nougat firmware with Odin over the PD8 or do I need to jump to another firmware before Nougat?
Should be able to just odin the new update.
is there a way to flash via odin stock firmware for the G955U ? im on Verizon. or it wont flash because of the locked BL ?
hello im wondering if someone if could help or point me in the direction im trying to root S6 edge+ sm-g9287 and possibly downgrade from nougat to MM thank you.
I believe that downgrading from Nougat to MM is as easy as just flashing stock MM firmware in Odin. Problems occur if returning from Nougat to Lollipop, but Nougat to MM should be easy. Just download stock MM firmware from Sammobile, and flash it via Odin

Hi to all, i have S8 G950F, updated with odin with G950FXXU5DSFB_G950FOXM5DSFB_ITV (U5 bootloader).
So i must return to Nougat ( 7.0) : G950FXXU1AQK7_G950FOXM1AQK7_ITV U1 bootloader
but odin failed because samsung blocked downgrade firmware.
So now what i can do for install Nougat 7.0 ? it 's possibile install tswrp with no root and flash with odin 7.0 ? which version i can use?
thanks

Some people say downgrading bootloader can be possible through combination file ect but if u never use that file then don't, u can do more harm then good.
Otherwise no bootloader can't be downgraded and your stuck with pie
Search Search Search! Don't be stupid, Samsung bootloader nowaday cannot be downgrade (e.g from U5->U4)...the security check will not pass nor flashing is not possible!
