when I copy 3500 songs to my z17 and try to scan it with the nubia music app, it scans the music, its says he adds it but then there is noting.
does anyone know how i can solve this? btw this is on a chinese rom.
I had similar problem with music on n17 lite. I found that the scanning works up to about 2132 songs (i did this a few months ago), when add 1 more song the scanning produces no results. Use another music app is the solution.

i manually click-and-dragged all my music to my music foler and for some reason the google music app only detects about half of my songs; the app double twist does the same. PowerAMP found all my music but all out of order so I dont know what I should try, any suggestions?
I recently upgraded to the newest version of Google Play Music for the All Access feature, but I've found that the app is having trouble playing music that I have on my phone, whether it is cached from the app or added manually.
The first song of an album or playlist will play, but the app displays a "Music playback error : Couldn't play the track you requested" whenever the app tries to move to the next track. This doesn't happen to streaming music strangely, only music I've cached or loaded from my computer.
Is anyone else having this issue? Let me know if you're able to reproduce this or not. I've tried re-installing the app, clearing the cached music and data, all to no avail.
I really want to love this app with its new layout, but not being able to properly play back local music is a huge issue.
BTW my phone is rooted, not sure if that's going to be an issue or not.
So, when I look up for a music player, I only need 3 features :
_Sort song by last added/modified
_Clic on a song and "listen after the one currently playing"
_Having my lockscreen background set with the music image cover
So far on my P9 Lite, I have not been able to have all of the 3.
_Google music does not detect my music's image cover
_Huawei player cant sort, nor have the button I need
_Phonograph cant set my music image as lock screen cover
I am only listenning to music from my SD card.
If anyone has a solution regarding any of the 3apps I ve tried, or an app that have been prove to work fine with my criteria, I ll be really happy.
Thanks.
I can recommend you BlackPlayer free
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kodarkooperativet.blackplayerfree
or EX version which I'm using
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kodarkooperativet.blackplayerex
But for the 3rd criteria you will need root for every music app to show cover on lockscreen because it's a Huawei issue or limitation.

Hey guys,
Today I got my new Huawei P9 lite phone and there is a certain issue with it. With older android phones I could just download a song using a youtube converter and it would automatically show in my music player, however this is not the case with my new phone? How can I download music for it to show on my music player?
Theoricaly it should show without problem, try to rescan the music in the phone, if I remember correctly there is such an option in the stock music player. Otherwise reboot the phone and retry
Hi all,
After copying my music files (mp3) to my OP8Pro I can't seem to get them showing in the YT Music or Google Play Music app. Once I opened them from file manager they will show....
With over 1000 songs it's no use opening them one by one to get them showing within the music app. Does anyone have a clue how to get them showing all at once?
I did the same and on Google music they show up automatically and YouTube music it's under local files I think

Click to collapse
Just get the best music player there has ever been on Android.
Poweramp, absolutely no equal. And of course it'll allow library editing amongst other features, definitely worth buying the pro version too, it's a great app..
