I installed Lineage 7.1.1 and I am on the latest build for 2-14-17 on G900T.
I have an issue where my home, back button and the app switch button does not work. A quick reboot would fix it, but that's not working anymore.
Installed button savior and that helped, but I would love my buttons back. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

I found disabling Talkback will fix it.
i just wanted to see what happens when you install xposed from the xposedinstaller app. Well it kinda works, well i dont know about xposed but it boots but then on the lockscreen the navigation buttos are glitching, i only see the background no clock or anything. When i swipe right nothing happens.The only thing that works is the power butten it opens the menu to restart power off etc.

Hi guys, my biggest problem is with power button menu. I dont have any jelly effect or other issues that are most popular, but i have problem with power button menu. When i hold it for 2 or more seconds it doesnt shows typical menu, instead it going like quick reboot? max 10 sec reboot. After that i cant even do a screenshot or photo because it doesnt recognize memory or something like that... To go back to normal i have to long press power button + volume down or up to recovrry or fastboot... Its really annoying. On stock i had normal power button menu. I flashed twrp, elemental kernel and rooted by magisk and its gone. I have enabled advanced reboot. Any solutios, help duuude...

HI I am facing same issue, since i flashed TWRP, magisk and certain magisk modules on oreo open beta 4. until now everything was fine. But after flashing TWRP by codewrokx 3.2.1 ,my power option to reboot power off or advanced reboot menu everything is gone. It just reboots on pressing power button. Can anyone suggest any remedy. Or is it a known problem after rooting and flashing TWRP?

just try to re-flash the rom, i think that will fix the problem.

there's a possibility that root is the problem, since your phone is decrypted which means the user can access the root directory and do some modification on the files. but i don't really think that that's the problem, cuz i'm also running on the Codeworkx TWRP 3.2.1 on OB4 with FrancoKernel also a few mods, and zero problem detected so far. have you try to re-flash the rom? i think it will work

Thank you for your response. I will reflash the ROM. I was just trying to find a way, if the issue could be resolved without going the reflashing route and start everything again. I had upgraded from OB3 to OB4 using OTA update. So now I will have to download the OB4 full ROM, as I cant flash the OTA using TWRP. I will try flashing the xXx_NoLimits_9.5_OP5_Oxygen_5.0.1_full ROM.

Have any of you themed the phone ?
Sometimes certain themes break the power menu, completely remove any installed themes and it should go away.
I was trying to change some key configurations and someone had said to modify the system/usr/keylayout/generic.kl file so i did. Anyway after doing so i could no longer use my power button or my volume button. So i tried to factory reset my phone then i stucked because i pressed backup from another android not from google. Any Help please

Copy this to your phone via mtp in twrp and replace the file with twrp file manager and set correct permissions. Just try mate

well im stucked on 'copy another android device' so i will let my battery dead and maybe the power button will work when it dead, i'll try.
Press and hold 3 buttons at a time for 15sec. It will force reboot to twrp.
I press 3 button vol up,down and power. and i went to twrp to reflash my rom. Thx guys.

So I just flashed Resurrection Remix (oreo) on my Nexus 6p. I was using PureNexus 7.1.2 and I had the ability to hold the power Button+Vol up and use the Partial screenshot function (select the area to screenshot), I have grown accustomed to using the feature for more precise screenshots and and cannot for the life of me find out how to map that to that button combination. Currently VolUp+Power starts screen recording and I don't want that bound to that anyway because I have it in my power menu. If I have to mod the rom myself tell me how but I just want to change the gestures bound to physical buttons. Xposed modules, magisk modules or literally anything even telling me where the gestures for the buttons are defined in the root filesystem is helpful.
