I have also done a quick little impression of Moto G5S Plus. In case anyone wants to know, here's the link - idroidlife.com/moto-g5s-plus-best-camera-budget/
It's really good looking phone. I've used it for the very first day today, and everybody loved the design and built quality of the phone. It fells nice in Hands, but sometimes I feel it heavier on the upper side in comparison to the lower side. Besides all, It feel really good to look at.

"4 GB RAM, 64 GB inbuilt"
That should say 3GB, right? I've read both numbers but assumed 3GB was the correct number. Perhaps this varies by region.
Awesome build quality... Love the metal body!

Amusing. So not only are is there the g5, g5s g5 plus and g5s plus, but without those there are variations based on region! They might as well just all be called the g5 and then you just check the specs in your country before buying!

Normal S9, the apps seems to be get laggy after 6 apps.
I dont see any kind of lag even when lots of apps are on background. Apps may reload, but just that. I'm satisfied from the perfomance and dont regret getting the 6GB s9+
Using my S9 (without plus) for about a month with not a single lag... I've over 100 user installed apps, so there should be at least a lag potential

Maybe samsung should put 6gb of ram on S9 too.. same chipset etc. Almost same firmware. I dont know why do they do **** like this? Even chinese brands xiaomi, huawei, oppo have 6gb of ram on every 2018. flagship. 4 gb is outdated. Xiaomi mi6 from 2017 had 6 gigs..
Galaxy S7 from 2016 had 4gb. Samsung. Use brains!!

As per the leaks, S10 plus will have 12GB of ram. Multitasking is much easier than the previous versions. And it has exynos 9820 octa a powerful chip.
Lol you were in another thread stating that the s10+ will have 10gb of ram. Which is it...10 or 12?
After re-reading that post I stand corrected you did say 12gb in the other post. My bad.

There will be different iterations, with 6, 8 and 12 gb's of ram. There will be three regular versions of it, and one 5g version.
All 3 variants are responsive, smooth, or your preferred adjective. Didn't encounter any performance hiccups - not that that's surprising. This IS the 855 after all. 835 is still speedy, so wouldn't expect anything less of their latest chip.
What I have seen says either 10 or 12 GB RAM. Also, from what I have read, there is a version with a Snapdragon 855 processor in it, which is what I will be getting along with the one that has 12GB of RAM.
Edit: Also as is well known, phones can be made faster by turning off animations and transitions and other aesthetic things added in just to make the front end look pretty. For max speed I suggest Nova Launcher.

US/CAN receive Snapdragon variants, whereas Europe gets the Exynos model. This has been the case for a while.
You should stick to the one from your region, however, for the sake of warranty and repairs. For example, Samsung UK won't honor a warranty for a US model (and vice versa).
Exynos 9820 very impressive speed.
Exynos version is not for gaming at all.
Coming from a OnePlus 5, this thing is a major downgrade.

Can't wait till it actually comes out.
It has 12 GB of ram in S10 plus, Multitasking and while scrolling is smooth as butter. Expecting there are no more lags in this S series.

Is it the official news or just rumour that it has 12GB RAM?
I read the TB version may have 12 gigs of ram on the 5G version. The regular 128 will have 6 and the 512 will have 8 and maybe the 1TB 10 on the 10 plus. Guess will find out soon!
how do i rate the thread?

I think I may get the 8 Gig 512 one. I have 64 now on my 9 plus so 128 is plenty but I also have 6 ram now and would like more 8 sounds good LOL! Is the battery the same on all 3 versions of the 10 plus? I know the show is Wed at 11am in California which will be 2pm my time. I work 2:30-11 so I won't get to watch but 30 minutes of it will they be showing it to watch after like a repeat?
I'll be getting the 8gb / 512gb 10+ model. This will be a step up from my Note 9 6/128... ??
1 terabyte and 12 GB is too much... I will probably go for the 8GB and 512gb :fingers-crossed:
512 GB and 8GB RAM S10 plus coming up[emoji16]

Turns out all 1tb versions are gonna come with 12gb ram. Think this is going to effect battery life? Maybe better to get 128 in the better colors and use an SD card?
I'm getting the 8 gig 128 so glad it's 8 gigs Just need to pick out a color and decide whether to trust Samsung trade in or go with Best Buy their doing 550 also and I have a 50 dollar gift card to Best Buy and their unlocked is 949 if you activate it that day.
From what I've seen ONLY 12GB RAM in 1TB version and thosee are only ceramic as well.
The S10 & S10+ can keep a range of apps in memory. I didn't try a multitasking test on the 10e, though I can say the other models deserve high marks.

That’s the one i went with.
It's nice that a 12/1tb is there as an option, however at £1400 I have to pass, plus that's not available on Contract
The 8/512 will suite me fine until the Note 10 drops

If you're not looking for 1TB storage then 8GB RAM is more than enough.

I ended up getting the 128 version instead of the 512, $250 extra was a lot for me. I ended up also getting the $50 discount because of the reservation. Furthermore I'm also getting a free memory card (because of the reservation) and Galaxy buds +student discount.

Ram management is good, not that much good but a little good one. Only 1 gigs of ram is free for other tasks
Having not really good experience with RAM i guess, when i listening to a bible app, it doin force close after locking the screen for a time.

Me too.
4gigs ram version here, and around 1gb free ram available most of the time.
Now I'm really curious about you guys who get the 6 gigs version. Do you get 3gb free ram?

Knowing that, now I'm thinking to sell my 4gb R3Pro and upgrade to the 6gb version.
Or waiting for Realme X, hoping it will be released in my country.

The phone switches between opened apps very fast. In my case the average RAM usage is about 3,5 GB. I have the 6GB version. Never experienced lags when switching between apps neither did I notice that an app had to be reloaded to RAM due to insufficient RAM.
i have 6gb 5g ace metro branded. 4 months in, ram management has been sufficient. Having realistic expectations of the hardware/software, i can't say that i've been disappointed.
