Hi all
I need some help regarding to the stock browser. when i want to upload af picture to any site. it doesnt pop-up with the normal screen where it asks if i want to take a picture or browse through gallery e.c. it goes directly to the folder where my pictures are saved. the problem is i cant se thumbnails of all the pictures..i have stock 3.2 no root no nothing. tryed to flash a clean stock rom and whipe all settings.
From quite a few months none of my gallery app are working properly.I cant see the image previews..tried re-flashing ROM changing the ROM but nothing worked.But i can see the images on clicking them.i also tried deleting the thumbnails file and allowed the gallery app to recreate it but still no solution.....any help will be great.

Try alternative gallery app like QuickPic.

Yes, the best alternative is the QuickPic, in my opinion, is better than the default app.
Try rebuild the cached pics by opening the settings menu, going into Applications->Manage Apps->go under All Apps and look for the Gallery app.
Clear Cache and Clear Data and Force stop.
Flash stock rom via odin.. then do a clean install of your rom. And see if the problem still persist..
flash the stock rom by odin .... then wipe data and cache open phone wipe data and cache from gallery ... REBOOT!

I was installing the LG G3 Gallery apk. It didnt work out so i had a backup of the apk.
Now whatever i do, even flashing the zip file of the LGGallery.apk
The app wont appear at all. I tried everything setting permissions etc. Is there any way to do it without reflashing the ROM? Thanks!

go to settings . > apps.find gallery app>.uninstall updates that worked for me
Hi guys! I've just updated my gallery app from a downloaded apk file. I thought that the new version have improved UI, new settings.... But nothing what I expected. Furthermore gallery disappeared from the app drawer. Even if I want to open it from camera, it doesn't. I went to application manager, tried to uninstall updates and phone reboots.
If someone has a solution for this, I'll appreciate!
May be a backup of stock gallery all would help!

Hello, the phone periodically takes permissions for the file system from the gallery and video player mx, a window pops up to give permissions on a new one. But after some time it completely selects, these applications do not see any photos or videos, I give all permissions, I install applications on a new one, nothing helps .. I even did a hard reset of the phone because of this. The problem is back. Firmware official A13
