Hello XDA devs... I own the A510M model A5 2016 and was wondering if there were devs out there interested or in the process of making a stock/LOS Rom for this device. I'm sure many users like myself are interested in a stock Android rom for our device and would like to help contribute to the development of the Rom as well!

Good day everybody!
I created this thread here so that people cuold handle with this argument, Porting ROMs!
In particular I also wanted to ask help about a project I wanted to start by myself.
I'm new about porting full ROMs but I followed dozen of guides and got in touch with it!
I recently saw the new "Hydrogen OS" ROM for One Plus One and totally went in love with it! My project was to port this ROM to the Samsung S4.
Being my first time I'm not quite sure, so I wanted to know if someone could give me an hand or some tips!
Following guides I would like to port "Hydrogen OS" to my Samsung S4 i9505 using as base
ROM a version of CM12 5.0.2!
Is it possible? Will it boot or are they incompatible?
Can someone help me with This project?
Hi there,
I own a Galaxy J500FN and have been unsuccessfully searching the web for a custom rom for my device.
I have used PA on both my S4 and S4 mini and would be very glad (so would many others) if somebody could dedicate some time on working on a build for this device?
It currently ships Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box.
There is no CWM Recovery build for this device but there is a TWRP Recovery Build that CTxz has kindly developed for us.
I am more than happy to flash experimental builds onto my device to help develop a custom ROM for it.
Thanks a lot!
Kyle
P.S: As many others have found, all root methods currently known for this device will trip the knox security.
No plans as we don't dev for devices we don't own or have access to. It is not on our radar at all, as with most Samsung devices.
@Pirateghost i can provide you all the files of j5 that you needs.

And what exactly does that do for us? That doesn't put a device in a developer's hand and they have ZERO way to test it. We know nothing about the device and we don't care to. It is not on the radar, it is not in the cards....
NO.
Not going to happen.
Please realize that developing for a device isn't easy. Even well documented ones bring along lots of hiccups along the way. There is no way in hell that we will take on a device request for a device that we don't own or plan on ever owning.
Here's a little FYI for you: we prefer Nexus devices or devices where the manufacturer/OEM is willing to allow/support bootloader unlocks, roms, development.
My advice to you: Learn how to bring up the device yourself, and build unofficials for yourself. This site was founded on being a resource BY developers FOR developers. Use the information available to you to build your own.
Hello Devs,
I'm not nearly as experienced with Rom Developing as many others are, but I have a simple request,
Is there a Dev out there that would like to contribute to the Galaxy Tab A 8" and make a CM-14 based Rom for it?
The development for the SM-T350 has been slow, but successful, and I would really like for someone to point the spotlight onto this device and new ideas to be introduced.
Thanks for your contribution and keep the SM-T350 in mind!
Thanks,
@vin_001

I was going to make one but Cyanogenmod has died. So I am currently working on LineageOS.
Greetings
I am looking to hire a programmer/developer interested in developing firmware/ROM for the Galaxy tab E lite SM-T113.
As it stands it is currently running Android 4.4.4 and the most I could find was a rooting method but no firmware or ROM update.
I'm very serious about this project and there are developers in xda that will vouch for me.
If you're interested, message me and we can discuss details!

Hello my name is Russ Campbell, I am not a really good programmer but I do have an SM-T113 that has been rooted and it runs the software for the SM-T113SU no problem. Contact me here as I am willing to loan it to someone that is working on this project or willing to do so. Russ Campbell.
