Android 6.0 Marshmallow update: Huawei
Huawei has revealed which devices in its line-up are getting the new software (with its own Emotion UI layered on top, of course).
The Huawei devices getting Android 6.0 are:
Huawei P8
Huawei P8 Youth Edition
Huawei P8 Max
Huawei Maimang 4 (the Chinese version of the G8)
Huawei G7
Huawei G7 Plus
Huawei Mate 7
Huawei Mate S
Huawei Honor 7
Huawei Honor 7i
Huawei Honor 6 Plus
Huawei Honor 6
Huawei X2
Huawei 4X
Huawei Play 4C
No official timeline has been detailed by the company, but as it also makes the Nexus 6P for Google, we could see Marshmallow coming to its devices a little faster than usual.

Sweet, maybe I hang on to this phone a little but longer

Did they say whether or not it's going to happen prior to the end of this decade?

International MT7-L09 won't get this update according to them. Its not on their list. I just hope this is a big joke from Huawei.

By the time this update comes most people who actually care about updates will already have new phones.

My guess (and hope) is we`ll get Marshmellow in the first quarter 2016 because they allready worked with M on the Nexus 6P

I guess Andriod M will release for mate 7 also, bcoz mt7 almost have all facts which in 6p, and I also found many site where huawei developers said that they will release M firstly for p8,mate7 and honor 6 plus, which are still top in p,mate and honor series,they also said they've been busy to skip on M, not to release lollipop, i like to share that site where I found but I cant found from google search again...so I will going to wait for M,who dont want to wait sell ur device, who want to wait just count on days...from month to year u will get one day hehe as huawei company is very slow on update their andriod, but I m sure we will get...

Just flash the lollipop rom manualy and you are done

Well I wouldn't even be sad about not getting Marshmallow, I'm fine with KitKat and see no reason to update to Lollipop.
But it would still be cool to get M because of the native fingerprint sensor support, maybe we will be able to flash not-stock roms
without loosing ability to unlock with fingerprint. Well I just try not to hope too much

It looks like Marshmallow will force people to use encryption if you use marshmallow, hopefully you can turn it of and use it without still without root. Sounds anyway kind of stupid

I don't think that Huawei dealed with software-side on the nexus 6P, I think they worked only on the hardware

No real differences noticed yet. The Huawei keyboard seems to be back though (it went missing when i installed B324), and I have a new app, WPS Office. Probably more under the hood changes, like stability, but will have to check out the phone for a couple of days to see if there is any change.

It is for Africa. The download is on the Huawei South Africa downloads webpage.

every thing is good in this version .. i was in B300 and i have no problem with it but it kind feel like half backed version ,, it have options but not working like knock knock to screen shot , double tape to wake up and the finger print gesture ,, these function was not working as it should . . SOOO,, I wanted to try the new version .. at as i expect they removed all the function that not working as it should .. and i think there are some stability fixes . it feel smother ,,
it benchmark is improved,, my unit is getting 47320 in AnTuTu BenchMark ,, in B300 i was 46530 .
knock knock working very good
4g working
multi-window is limited to system apps (useless and stupid move )

no finger print gesture
no flick
no draw
I flashed it over B300 and have no problems .

I got Cust Error at 80 something percent. Rebooted and I'm on B326. Is this normal?
Should I do anything, or as long as my firmware is B326 despite having a cust error then its ok?

VNS-L21 update?

I'm hearing a lot of things about an update for the VNS-L31 model, but is there an update available or coming for the VNS-L21?
What did the update include, is it important?

I am on VNS-L21C185B130 which i received last month and thats the latest for V21 variant i guess.

I can second this, I have the same model and I am also "stuck" on the same firmware version, without any apparent update choice. My region is Central (possibly Eastern? I'm in Slovakia) Europe. Seems like we will have to wait.

Well, at least I'm not the only one. I'm in Estonia, so Northern Europe/Baltic States. I guess all we can do is wait.

Anybody know if the p9lite b103 build is getting OTA yet, or is up to date? Also is it 3gbRAM??? Any ideas?

Yeah,I received the notification for theVNS-L21C432B130 update in Croatia.
Also,did anyone successfully update even tho they had systemless root?

I'm pretty certain the update fails with non-stock recovery, at least L31 guys had that problem.

That's what some L31 guys said. Don't quote me on that, though, if something goes wrong (99% sure you get just an error though).

Anybody have any decent themes? I've been making a few with custom task bars. also isn't the casing of icons suppose to be gone in emui 4.1? The icons still look bad hence me making themes.
I was looking at Android n beta for p9, I guess it will come on p9lite, but it looks like crap, hopefully it's an unpolished beta.

I've had the phone for about 1.5 weeks now and I actually like the default theme/EMUI. Could always go for the Nova launcher or Google Now launcher for a complete makeover.

For me it's just the icons, I've had a couple of Huawei and have come accustomed to its Chinese makeover. But the icons are quite poor. I'm using retrorika icons at the minute

Yeah so they wont push any update to wrong model if not intended. If there is update they will push

Red magic 5G Game Space App Issue

Hello
I was watching a review for the Red Magic 5G and I noticed a difference between the one used in the review and mine.
I think the difference is the version of the Game Space App installed.

On my phone it is version 1.3.02_0807
Any help to update it ?

Updating the software should also update the gamespace. And probably the gamespace you saw is from Chinese version of phone which generally has updated gamespace

Yes actually that is why I mentioned the video you saw probably reviewed the Chinese edition of the phone which has more updated software. Also the 5s has the same supported rom so that can also have the updated ganespace

Are you familiar with rooting, twrp and etc if you are familiar then you can do it or I would suggest not trying anything

Ok the rom is available in Chinese nubia website latest is 6.23 which is basically combined rom for 5s and 5g.try that. I will. Post the link. Give me a minute
