Hey guys and gals, I have a pair of Sony headphones that they work on an iphone to take phone calls. On the Galaxy tab, I could listen to music, even play and pause music with the button but, the mic doesnt work.... I can listen the caller but they can not hear me through the headphone's mic. Is there an app for that? thanks
Hi guys, so I'v tried to use my Nexus 4 and my RAZR HD and they both have the same issue. When I connect my phone to my car stereos bluetooth, it works fine for audio. Music plays through the speakers just great, and my stereo can reach my contacts. The problem I have is with calling. My stereo has a built in microphone, but for some reason, when I call or receive a call, my phone plays the other persons voice over my car speakers, but the stereo's microphone doesn't work. If I turn the audio mode on my phone manually to "headset" instead of "bluetooth" then the microphone works, but the other person voice doesn't go over the speakers anymore! It seems like the audio out is tied to my cars speakers, whereas the microphone is registered under "headset." Has anyone else ever heard of this happening? I just want both the audio in and audio out to be on bluetooth when I make a call.
Hi,
I've got a problem regarding the bluetooth mic. The problem is similar as this one's:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/har.../android-bluetooth-mic-audio-routing-t2898688
What I would like to have is when I connect my phone to the stereo, the audio is recorded from the stereo all the time, and not only for calls.
I like this better than holding the phone for voice messaging in WhatsApp.
Furthermore I'd like to listen to the music further. When using the Parrot MKi 9200 this was the case, as soon as I clicked the whatsapp voice chat button, the music stopped and I was recording from the parrots mic.
Kindest Regards
Marco
I am having issues with making phone calls when using headphones with mic. I can hear perfectly but the person I am speaking to says the line is terrible with a hissing noise. This is no problem when only using the phone for calls.
I have this problem when I record my own voice with a voice recorder and use the samsung headset mic. I have no problem when I use just the phone's mic to record voice.
I have done some searching and found similar issues for people recording video. I have tried this edit of the build.prop file found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/help/to-fix-noise-recording-t3689517 But that has not fixed the problem.
Could someone else please try recording their voice with a headset mic and let me know the outcome.
If anyone has some solutions, I would be grateful.
The microphone is fine. I can doing calls and recording audio. But google won't listen to 'Ok Google'. Only when a headset is connected to the device.
Do I miss a setting?
