I switched from OnePlus X (onyx) to Mi A1 and the LTE performance is not as good as that of Onyx had
In Onyx I could easily get Mbps download speed now I am stuck in 200-400 kbps range.. though it is not 5x but shares same hardware so I think it is eligible for this query

The LTE strenght en troughput is great! In the Netherlands I rarely see less then 4 bars LTE. A speedtest in my backyard gave the following results:
Download: 91,20 mbps
Upload: 10,80 mbps
Ping: 26 ms
Not bad right .

Signal is standard, same as others around me.
Speed is decent I've got a peak of 180mbps and constant speed of 168mbps 4G+ Vodafone RO.

Just tested my 4G speed on my 7T pro and hit 230mbps in a spot where I'd only hit 100 on my LG V30. So i'd say the cellular is pretty good. Network is EE.
