Yeah!! Unfortunately it works only on oreo for me i was using the cosmic os ....the portrait mode crashes while you are in miui..hope anyone will port it to noughat too

it works in nougat also...but didn't work in miui but now it also has been ported to miui but only runs fluently in global stable...not stable in xiaomi eu or miui pro rom...

i use it on the latest xiaomi eu dev. also portrait mode only works with the rear camera, not the front. the front camera is just upside down with no blurr effect and low quality. but maybe its because i have the mi5 api fix installed that fixed the upside down front camera after you installed api2. dont know
what works now with miui android 7 is:
config camera HDR+:
Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 Auto, Nexus 6P, Pixel 2016 Tuning (doesnt crash but has problems saving pictures), Pixel 2017 Zsl Hdr PD (doesnt crash but black screen, no connection to photo camere, video works)
everything else crashes.
Model:
Pixel XL(corr), Pixel 2XL, Pixel 2, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X = basically all work fine.

i did install too...but sometime it opens and sometimes it crashes and most of the time crashes when i click to see the picture!

Can you please share some pics taken in portrait mode with rear cam. Is it stable enough for rear cam?

Gcam doesn't fully support android 7 so miui9

Using Google camera mod v. 5.1.018.177470874 with xiaomi.eu stable 9.2 and everything works well except slowmo(didn't modify mediaprofiles because that crashes slowmo in miui default camera). Just modified build.prop for camera2api support and the angle of front camera for the upsidedown problem. I use Nexux 6p configs.

Works perfectly for me MIUI 9.2 stable .eu ROM, Nexus 6p configs.

have anyone managed to take astrophotography using mi5? mine isn't working. I have tried many gcam 7.1/7.2 ports, none worked. It shows astrophotography on while mounted to tripod but only takes 8/9 seconds to take picture instead of 4 minutes long exposure. I'm using PE10 rom.

I don't think you can without a Snapdragon chip with a Hexagon DSP.

I tried, it won't work. No kirin love from google camera.

Gcam pixel 2 for moto g6 plus ?

Hello guys,
Is there a good working google camera pixel 2 apk for my new moto g6 plus?
The stock moto camera is not bad af all and i am happy with its pictures, both in day light and also in low light conditions. But a better camera app is always nice to have , so who knows more about this?

Possibility to change the original apk for unbridled aperture at 30s instead of 1/4s ?

The focal length f 1.7 simply captures more light. it is mechanical, to improve the photo performance should be able to get the free settings as a Huawei P10 or LG. fvcamera for example does not liberate the capabilities of the camera. it really should be able to get a mod, like what was done on the Xiaomi Redmi note 4 on XDA

How old is this app (maby updates needed) and is your smartphone also a g6 plus or a g6?
I gone test this app in low light and in daylight. What is in your opinion better with this app vs the (also very good) stock moto 2 app?

I did many tests between the gCam from your link and I do prefer the stock moto camera app more. Stock app is much better in low light and also gcam app pics in daylight are the same quelity or they are not as sharp and collorfull vs stock moto camera with hdr mode.

So , I am still searching for a top Pixel 2 app for the moto g6 plus.

I think the reason the gcam ports won't install on the g6 is because it's a 32bit ROM and gcam needs 64bit ROM to work as well as sd 450 support. It does support 64bit ROMs someone just has to build one and you would have to root.

I just bought a samsung galaxy s7 edge model SM-G935T honestly I'm disappointed at the photo level. I was expecting a lot better especially on this model I have a sony imx 260 sensor, which is weird with the Chinese smartphone leeco pro 3 which a sensor sony imx 298 of lower quality. I can produce better shots on leeco X722 thanks to the Google camera. Is there a way to install the gcam on samsung so you can get the most out of it?

Search is your friend, there are working gcam ports for this phone, albeit it can't store pics to external storage without jumping through a couple of hoops.

Yes, I am aware that there are certainly some versions of gcam function for the Samsung SM-G935T especially that I am very connected in this area with leeco pro 3 which accepts almost all versions of this list thank you for having me answered.

It's good, I found version 6.1021 works best on the Samsung SM-G935T under oreo and bug least compared to others. Exactly it is the one I use with my leeco pro 3 but against the battery it is empty at a speed unbelievable. On leeco the application is better optimized, it consumes less battery. for the Exynos processor I do not think it's compatible with me running under a snapdragon 820 processor with the official Oreo Rom without root.

I explained in my previous comment to be able to install the second application without crash and that it is very rich in option, it must first install the first application is configure it by activating the hdr +

Alas new gcam are only for 64 bits phones,and ours is 32 bits. There is no way to obtain a pixel 3 gcam.

It only works on phones with a Qualcomm Hexagon 680 DSP which the S5's SD 801 lacks.

The older versions of Google camera (not the pixel camera) has the lens blur effect
