Than, put the .zip File into your phone and Flash it from the recovery mode!!!
The installer is chinese, but you can click the right button every Time.
You can Flash the GA APPS for Android Version 4.4.4 but i installed the Google Installer from here http://en.miui.com/thread-3998-1-1.html after all

That is V6 but the build number is 5.x.x

But i used the Z3-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.installer and the 23.0.A.2.93 so KK

I assume installing Miui over rooted LP Locked bootloader would cause bootloop or? I really don't want to wipe, downgrade then install SuperSU & Recovery to just test this ROM...

Ok, I'll backup, flash and hope for the best lol... I'll report back whether it worked or not.

Yeah I did, loving this ROM so far, ill need to see how good the battery life is after a full cycle but so far so good thanks!

{GUIDE} How to apply cm 12.1 updates if u have xposed etc etc

hi guys.hope u all fine.today i am going to share how to apply cm 12.1 updates if u have xposed and link2sd,lets start
thanks @ vandermark for making this guide short
STEPS:
1.more than 90% battery
2.download latest cm 12.1 release/update from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-moto-g-3rd-gen-t3174926
3.download official xposed supporting android 5.1.1 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
4.go to settings>check developer option with advanced reboot also checked
5.hold power button than reboot>recovery (twrp recovery)
6.make nandroid backup
7.wipe cache and dalvik
8.install/flash latest cm 12.1 zip (link provided in step 2)
9.flash/install xposed-v74-sdk22-arm.zip (link provided in step 3)
10.wipe cache and dalvik
11.reboot system (make take couple of minutes so patience)
12.an error message will show for Link2Sd,to solve it recreate mount script for ext 4
13.reboot system and done
that is it guys.any query feel free to ask.please do not blame me if anything goes wrong.lastly to encourage me for more work hit THANKS

yup.it is recommended to uninstall xposed framework before applying OTA :victory:

I just do it more simple, I only have xposed:
- make nandroid backup
- wipe cache and dalvik
- flash new cm12.1 rom
- flash latest xposed (not rom racer, there is official 5.1.1)
- wipe cache and dalvik
- reboot to system
This works great without problems

Why use romracer's framework?? rovo has updated the official framework to run on 5.1.1...I've been using it on my Moto g3 for about 3 days and everything is funning just fine.

Just read the specific posts. Our device is non-64bit and 5.1.1 so use xposed-v74-sdk22-arm.zip
Furthermore as I wrote I don't uninstall anything, just do as I wrote in my post.

[APPS][CM][FLASHABLE ZIP] Cyanogen Apps: AudioFX, Eleven, GalleryNext

I'm not the creator of these apps. All credit goes to Cyanogen Inc.
I've made an flashable zip that contains some essential apps which I miss on our OxygenOS.
This package contains the following apps from CyanogenMod ROM:
AudioFX (equalizer app)
GalleryNext (gallery app)
Eleven (music player app)
Instructions:
Boot into TWRP and flash cm-apps.R*.zip

Sources:
AudioFX and GalleryNext apks were extracted from the official c-apps package and the Eleven apk was extracted from the Nexus 5's CyanogenMod ROM image (cm-12.1-20151118-NIGHTLY-hammerhead.zip)

Just flashed the zip with twrp 2.8.7.0 n its working fine

I flashed this with TWRP 2.8.7.0 and it's working good

It worked without flashing except audiofx.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm testing every build
So yes, as other users confirmed, it's safe to flash.
I also will upload soon only the apks for the users which doesn't want them as system apps.

Just extract the apk from that zip and install they are working as user app

no, i have not yet, but it will be added via an addon

Currently having a few issues after flashing the addon zip(bootloop), investigating now.
If anyone has any help they could lend that would be highly appreciated! @niaboc79 @rakeshbro

Flashed everything at once and everything is ok!!
Update: I flashed everything at once and wiped both dalvik and regular cache and all is well!!!

Same as i sir, i have already flash rom preerot, deodex.zip, butlop fix from 570 rom version, n drm fix...no butlop...
But i worries for recovery, cause at preerot rom newest in second reboot my recovery is gone

I recommend you do this
1. flash the pre-root zip
2. deodex
3. bootloop fix
4. drm fix
5. addon pack(disable what you dont want when its done booting and setting up
and recovery should work just fine if not flash the recroot zip and then the supersu after following steps 1-5, every time you flash and get a bootloop make sure you wipe system,data,cache,dalvik-cache!

[Stock Rom] [Lenovo P2] [NOUGAT 7.0] [Deodexed_P2a42_S244_170725_ROW]

Deodexed mean everything reunified and put back inside apk and jar file.
Compare 1700mb stock rom, this rom only 900mb very small foot print, Deodexed_P2a42_S233_170404_ROW rom will take much less space in system file, result is reduce system file till half of free space.
Features:
remove some bloadware,
added lenovo gallery,
added latest/update gapps,
added dolby atmos,
magisk root
I did not responsible for phone damage or bricked
Need to unlock bootloader and twrp installed
Always do backup rom first.
Flashing only with latest twrp-3.1.0-0, or above to avoid encryption problem and loosing data later, see in my another thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p2/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-2-0-p2a42-t3573308
Before flashing need to wipe dalvik cache, system, data and cache
change data system file to ext4
now install rom from zip file
Reboot to system, don't do anything just wait around 7-10 minute till appear.

See the different system running more faster, smooth and better benchmark result.

if any, only came from original firmware stock rom

Alright, that's fine. If you need it I have the OTA zip from 232 to 233. But I think it will cause problems if you install it over the deodexed version.

This time i will install substratum on this and ROCK

i flashed rom with out any issues, installed substratum but its saying SuperUSer permission Denied what to do??? any ideas??
Update : installed phhs superuser, and finally got it to work ..

dear brother ! I'm a stock nougat user of lenovo p2. I never root my phone. after 5 days, my bootloader will be unlocked. Then I want to install your marshmallow deodexed rom via your TWRP3.1.0. If there any chance to having bootloop or trouble as I downgrade from nougat to marshmallow ? pls suggest me if it's safe ! And one more thing, you wrote in your post to wipe cache, dalvik, data. Don't I need to wipe also system including those ? pls clear me if I should wipe system before flashing ! And after flashing, do I need to wipe cache, data and dalvik again ? should I try to install your marshmallow over my nougat or I should wait for your next s233 deodexed ?? pls kindly clear me the total procedure step by step as I am a new member here and firstly want to install custom rom. Need your help to avoid any bricking issue ..... thanks a lot !!
