How to boost volume in Bluetooth or earphones? - LG G6 Questions and Answers

As the title says. My BT headphones are real quiet same as any earphones I plug in.
I downloaded a magisk module to boost volume but did nothing.
I have installed viper but no difference there either.

Are you rooted?? Those apps won't help unless you're rooted from my understanding
Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Yes rooted h870.

need custom kernel with sound controll included..(Like lg g4 imperium kernel)

This app works very well and you don't need to be root

Volume increase

Does anyone know how to increase the maximum volume on N910C Galaxy Note 4 with Android 5.01 installed?
The volume on Bluetooth A2DP is really low. My iPad and iPhone can output at least three times more.
Now I'm using the Simplrom but the problem was exactly the same when running the stock rom.
Also, it happens with my Bluetooth headset, my car radio and every other audio device connected by Bluetooth.
Thanks!
I wouldn't mind a solution. For me, it's low volume via headphones. It also depends on the headphones... But generally speaking, volume is on the lower side. I ALWAYS hit the "dangerous volume" level warning.
That's exactly my problem. The volume on the headphone is really los.

Yes. Me too is waiting for solution on unrooted phones
Does this just happen with bluetooth headsets? Maybe it something to do with your bluetooth device settings.

But what could it be? I've checked everything on the bluetooth menu and found nothing.

Have you tried turning up the audio on your bluetooth headset?
I have the opposite problem. My bluetooth headset is too loud on the lowest setting. I dont have another headset to try either

Yes. I did. If I don't go all way to the max I can't hear anything. That also happens when synced on my car. I have to increase the volume quite a bit to hear properly.

What? That's so weird. Why yours is loud and mine is so low if we have the same phone? Doesn't make any sense. We are missing something here.

Does this happen when you are making calls or when you are listening to audio files/watching media on your device?
Same problem here, volume too low..... On headphones.

Usually when using Spotify or the music app. With Spotify the problem is worse.

Sounds like it something to do with the setting on both the music player and the Spotify app. If you go into the settings of your music player and turn off the Adapt Sound and uncheck the Smart Volume that should solve the problem with your music player. The same solution should work with Spotify.

I had no idea that this setting existed! I've disabled both and the sound is a lot better! Now I can actually hear something! Thank you very much for helping me! I was begining to think there was no solution for this. Thank you!

Yeah, allot of audio and media player app developers do tend to make it harder for you to find the audio output adjustment settings on their apps. It usually takes a while to find them, if you need anymore help just holla!
Thanks one again

[REQ] Using watch microphone in phone calls

Hello, is this possible to make an app that will allow me to use watch microphone in phone calls? It might be very useful to use it in car.
I agree with you. It could be really helpful.
I think app developers can help you.
I definitely vouch for this. I don't mind having my headphones plugged in my mobile phone, so why can't we use Wear microphone to talk?
This would be great with bluetooth headphones that do not have a microphone, or really any headphones that don't have the in-line mic...why not let me use my watch mic for a phone call, would be very Get Smart
MAybe now after 1.4 update it's possible?
Any news about this subject?

Do your watches have speakers?

You could check out Light Manager, which kind of works, but it seems no LED notification app really works properly with the always on display at the moment.

I check it and install it and test it but no luck... it kind of works but no good led colours are showing and only few one works. Also it allows to have only 20 apps configured.
I will keep on searching

The XLED module for Xposed is old but it still works. Ultimate Notification Control in GravityBox should work too, though I haven't tested it.

Can an APP LIMIT the DOWNLOAD speed of a stream?

I'm not a developer, and if this is in the wrong place or not allowed please move or delete.
I have a need and possibly many others too, to keep my phone from using full LTE speed download. I would like to LIMIT by number the data rate at which my phone operates from time to time. Could an app be developed for this kind of functionality (not sure what is capable at the app level)? Thanks.
Absolutely you are in the wrong place...

Maybe switch it to lower speed from data network in settings? Most would want to boost their speed. ?

Yea I tried that, forcing to only connect to 3G etc. But that doesn't/didn't do the trick. I have a video streaming app that looks at how good your connection is to decide what stream to give you. I do not want it to stream full HD, or even HD on 3G. I want it to be lower res or audio only. So I need to force the connection to be slower.
I saw an app on the play store but it didn't seem to do the trick. So I thought I'd ask in the "wrong forum" if this was even possible. Now that I'm here (in the correct spot) doesnt anyone know of something like this that works? Thanks.
Could you be more specific what you want to do? Maybe there's already an app that can do what you want

Not sure how it could be more clear, but I'll try.
App in the middle that throttles the bandwidth allowed to another app. Ie. allow only 250kbs to appX. On an LTE connection that has much more available.
I found this app but isn't limit a specific app, just limits the bandwidth in general https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oxplot.bradybound

DorianX, you are amazing! This is perfect. I had only found one other that said it would do it...needed root which I have, but never worked/asked for root.
This app installed, asked for root and YouTube downloads at 100kbs now at 144p res. PERFECT!!!!!!
Thank you so much. Appreciate you sticking with it and helping me out. All in what you search for...I had done some looking but must not have had the right words.
You're welcome, I'm just a good searcher [emoji1]

I didn't even see you found the other one I had found....BWR. I couldn't get it to work for me...but certainly said it would do what I wanted. Maybe others will have luck with it. I found the first one to work perfectly!
Thanks again!
