Hey man, Also have an LG G6 from South Africa. Did you see any improvements after doing this? Does it remove all the bloatware? I was keen to try this but a bit afraid it wouldnt work.
With the default Vodacom software the battery life is not great

Definitely works, blast is gone but you lose VoLTE, as that's provided by Vodacom to the phones running the SA Vodacom kdz.

So I have the international version of LG G2 which is D802, I have been checking custom roms for it and noticed that sometimes they are based on 10F, 10E, etc. What are they?
Firmware versions. They go from 10A to 10F for Jelly Bean, 20A for KitKat. A d yes, A is oldest, F is newest - but: 10F for Asia can be older than 10F for Europe, because of rollout stages, etc.

Yes, it should work, though you might lose 4G connectivity, which could probably be fixed with a radio/modem update.
My phone runs an Asian 10F and I'm in Europe. Everything is working fine (except 4G which I don't need nor use).

I can't tell for sure. Best thing is to check which firmware you have now and update accordingly.

That's not likely it. 80220B is the Open EUR one that's rolling out.... d802 International SIM Free
The B version (when flashed as a fully wiped recovery update) doesn't suffer from Audio crackling or BT wakelock issues - it's dated 6th March.

Hi, thanks for the info.. Is it true that your LTE will be out of service, only 4G network will work? Thanks... I'm using bell too.. Winnipeg..
I was under the impression that 4G and LTE are the same? My signal says 4G when I am in an area that supports it.
Yeah 4g LTE same thing. I'll try it out maybe before a CND version is out lol. Thanks :good:
mattabyte said:
If you're on a service that has LTE, you'll end up with just 4G until an LTE-enabled region pushes an update. I'm in the US and flashed the Baltic .690 update and lost my LTE... which isn't really that big of a deal since I live near Los Angeles and AT&T LTE coverage down here is absolute garbage anyway.

It's just an icon, mine says 4G and i'm still getting 74 - 77mbps from my carrier.
No worries, 4G and LTE are basically the same, and 4G+ and its equivalent LTE Advanced are the next generation standards, reaching speeds of up to 300mbps.
i'm wondering if baltic have chinese input.

Here's a screenshot.
Can someone provide me a step by step on how I'd do this?
I'm also on BELL in Alberta and id like to try flashing the Baltic version
I use an apple computer, and I have a locked, unrooted carrier locked z2..
I tried to figure it out on my own but was unsuccessful

Try following this guide, it's comprehensive.
http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/1...peria-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/
L.e.: sorry, i missed the 'apple computer' part. Just have a little patience, I don't imagine they will postpone it any longer.
So there's no way to do it on a Mac?

I checked now, there's a Mac version of Flashtool, you're lucky.
Download it from here:
http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php
You need to download Sony Bridge so you'll have all the necessary drivers:
http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/bridge-for-mac/
After you'll get the drivers working, I suppose Flashtool is pretty much the same, so you can use the same guide that's for Windows.

I'm waiting until there's full root with recovery working 100% before I update. Hopefully niaboc79's update for his rom won't be too long. Those screen shots he posted look very nice.

New update is coming!! and this time I have not confused lg G3 with LG G4!!
It must be V10D version for sure. Let's see what's coming on this one.
The OTA on LGH815P today called V10e-JUL-06-2015
Enhancements:
1. Usability improvements through Google patch.
2. Phone usability and functionality has been further improved.
Just received the V10e update. Just as I wanted to root.
New things noticed ? Can we disabled OIS ?
So hopefully this is the magical 10 f that solves all touch issues
Anyone on H815 confirm version?
if someone with an EU H815 got the E update, pls provide the kdz

Anyone with the update, care to share the KDZ file for the other less lucky people around here?
There is no update yet for european model
For my device H815, devtester says there is an H81510E_00 firmware available...
I'm on 10D right now...no OTA yet.
Hi, from which Country / Region is the 815P?
I've just received my G4 and it's still on V10a and there is no update available - any ideas?
It's unlocked.

Please check with:

Enter your IMEI behind esn=
OTA's are always later as KDZ files.

So its 10E_00 for me. Will download it at home.
Thx a lot. I ask because i see kdz's on http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/ , but useless for our european 815.
Marcel.
I bought my phone from a grey market seller so it came with the Taiwanese F/W, I downloaded the Supposedly Australian F/W from this site but I think its a mexican one? After installing I had some Mexican Telco apps and the signal on my phone is still not very good. If anyone knows where I can get the actual Australian F/W that'd would be fking awesome.

There u go ?
wait, can you change your firmware just like that??
jumping from australia to the emirates and so forth?
are you sure it won't brick your phone?
and why would it change your reception?
can't you just add apn and all the rest going through your settings?
just asking because I'm really curious, is all

Well I went from the Taiwanese firmware to this one without any issues. It would affect my reception because the radio settings were for Taiwan and not Australia.

I ended up claiming warranty for my phone since it started to be retarded and slow down unless i reset it once a month. So either they might fix it for me or im outta $55 for admin fees. I might try this if I get the phone back and its on TWN again. Did your phone come with AUS already or did you switch over from some other one?

Nah my phone came with Aus, got it from jbhifi out right. This was the firmware that lg bridge updated my device to latest version, which I managed to pull from the golder before it finished flashing.
This is the kdz file you want to use.
