[Q] Unable to flash custom rom ?

i am facing some problem while rooting my htc tattoo phone to load custom rom after making a gold card i have incerted into phone and rebooted into recovery mode but i am abel see only four options like
1)reboot system now (home)
2)apply sdcard upadte.zip
3)wipe data factory reset
4)wipe cache partition
after applying the second option (apply sdcard upadte.zip) it use to get thies error
verifying update package
E:No signature (1256 files)
E: verfification failed
installation aborted
i am unabel to understand that why it is coming pls help pls pls pls pls

Which recovery you using
for signature problem try clockworkmod recovery (try there option disable sign)
or download file again may be it is incomplete or sign missing

Are you sure you have a recovery image installed other than the stock one?

Try 1click root & recovery script from maverixx.
It`s very useful for for rooting and reflashing recovery, and You will see if there is any error.
1. Download RootTattoo1Click_Recovery_2010-03-18_Mvx.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5835675&postcount=1
2. Extract rtattoo folder to C:/
3. Run rootTattoo.bat or RecoveryTattoo.bat
If necessary Copy other recovery file to C:/rtattoo/sdcard and run RecoveryTattoo.bat again.

can't update my A6000 to S059 from S058

hi friends... whenever i try to update my phone from S058 to S059. after downloading update it does not proceed further. it reboot in recovery (TWRP) { I dont know what to do next}. and when i downloaded the zip file of OTA and tried to update through TWRP it shows an error msg : "Error executing updater binary in zip. . . . . " please help me..

Try to flash stock lollipop recovery and then try.... bcz lollipop update needs stock recovery only. Not this twrp

Oppo F1s error in SP FLash Tool {BROM ERROR: STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0xC0050005)}

Hi every one. I m facing this problem when i try to flash oppo f1s . I have downloaded too many firmwares from different websites but every rom giving this error.
When download bar completed in sp flash tool then it got stuck and after 50 to 60 seconds this error comes. I need help how to fix it?

That usually happens due to overload of firmware's or error in detection etc,
method to fix:Get the scatter file:
Flash tools step1:
1) Just copy the below code and rename it as .txt and use it as the scatter file.
2) Have the preloader file=preloader_oppo6750_15131.bin -> this is the version of preloader.
3) Get the system image of the oppo f1s stock rom.
4) Open flash tools , locate scatter file and open it,
->make sure bot the files system image and preloader are properly loaded.
5) Run flash tools to "Format + download" , Connect phone to pc ("Hold volume + and - at the same time and connect the usb cable and wait until detection is complete.
6)when done proceed to step 2
download tools step 2:
1) open download tools.exe, have the scatter file already download, click on download all.
2) The Green icons turn blue, wait for the process to complete,
3) Reboot
The files required are in particular places but just search for the yakub method on google,you will get the files for the oppo f1s,
I had this haappen to me and i was able to fix it using this method.

uncheck the following given file names in the error box from the list of files one by one, the error will be solved

E: Error parsing XML file” in TWRP

Hello friends. When I try to restart the system on my phone, twrp opens and twrp cannot be exited (with aosp 10 installed) and twrp gives an error like E: Error parsing XML file ”I would appreciate if you can help.

hey! i am also stuck in the same problem... any clue how to get out of it??

E: footer is wrong E: signature verification failed

I was installing firmware update stockrom for my Zenfone 2 Laser z00ed then this error showes up when i apply the rom from adb. What should i do now?

actually i unzipped the file and lose it and zipped the unzipped file again so can that be the problem?
i am installing the file again from the asus link

Guys i actually managed to fix this issue by reinstalling the zip but now it gives
E: Error in /sideload/package.zip
(status 7)

I fixed this issue and get the newest version by installing older supported version then installing the newest version i hope this thread will help someone
