New T-Mobile firmware update is being pushed out

Just installed it, and everything is running great.
Maybe this is the battery update that the Note 4 received right after release?

I just turned on my phone a few minutes ago and saw the update.
Honestly, I wanted to check here on the XDA forum first to see who installed the UPDATE for the phone, because frankly, after the recent Lollipop UPDATE that Google sent out to their Nexus line of devices, and the HUGE DRAMA with system BUGS, I'm leaning toward conservative -- even though I know this isn't a Lollipop O/S update.
UPDATE: I found the link on T-Mobile's website, and they say, "This update provides Chinese language support"

Went ahead and allowed the update to be applied but because I have already rooted it the update wouldn't take.

That's it? Language support? I installed it hoping it was a battery improvement like the note 4 got straight out the box. This sucks if true.

Just a few more days and I will get home to my Edge that is sitting in its box. After setting it up I am going to use your root method.

Saw the update this morning when I got up and this popped up in the googletron. I know it's for the Note 4 but I'm wondering if any of this garbage will happen post update... Anyone have any issues like stated in the article?

Please note that I am not rooted yet, had an issue with my accelerometer with my first Edge and I'm giving this a few weeks to see if anything crops up first.

My girl got this is morning. Nothing on my phone but i havent check either. I always wait until i get the info on xda first.
But with it just being language support i doubt i will be looking for it.
But im also willing to bet its a patch for something and they just dont want to say so.

Thats standard update disclosure
It says it can't but is not limited to.
That doesn't mean it does all that.
I remember when phone would get rooted easily via in OS apps and they would patch them a with an update and just say it's for stability

Hi, feel like an idiot having to ask this but I'd rather be an idiot with a working phone than one without. Anyhow when you say update via ODIN, which slot am I putting it in to? Or maybe the better question is where in the CF Rooting process does the zip or rather md5 file get flashed?

That would be step -1 (step negative 1) right before step 0... You will start by flashing via Odin the newest NK3 firmware... Then continue the whole guide. Any questions, just ask.

[Q] SM-T537V Stock Firmware download.

Does anyone have a copy of the stock firmware for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 SM-T537V that wont take me 2.5 hours to download? The FirmWare is T537VVZW1ANE2 not the current ANK1 firmware. Im trying to root my tablet but need it on the old firmware.

Did my link really say it would take you 2.5 hours to download? Because that's really disappointing for android file host, it usually takes me 15-20 minutes, absolute maximum. Check your inbox, I'll PM you another link to the file shortly.
Edit: Oh wow I'm sorry it would help if I actually read carefully, you needed the old NE2, not NK1. Crap yeah the only source right now for that is rapidgator, will take me about 9 hours to download (hideous, I know, that's why I was motivated to start my thread in the first place). I'll start downloading it now, add to my thread and PM you a link but it seriously is going to take ~9 hours or so. Sorry I forgot to actually check which build number you were after; I had a private link all ready for you, but for NK1 not NE2 :crying:

Another user sent me a link to it he uploaded it to android file host for 24 hours. but thanks anyway Edit: The copy I got is reading invalid in odin so if you can still get me a download link that would be appreciated

Now I just need to figure out why Odin isn't letting me flash back to the old rootable firmware.

P8lite ALE-L21C113B130 Stock Firmware?

Hello everyone.
well as my Title says i'm looking for a firmware for my ALE-L21C113B130 running 5.0.1 with EMUI 3.1.
Long story.
i've rooted my phone (as i use to do with all my android devices)
and i got everything right got Xposed working and everything but noticed few things, like performance, and lag here and there on other hand the models of Xposed that i use are not working with this phone so wanted to get my stock firmware just with root and twrp but forgot to do a backup before doing all this, now the only way out is to get my stock firmware and install it and then upgrade to 6.0 for batter performance.
in this whole process i bricked my phone few times and was able to get it working back again. (only while trying to get back to stock tho not rooting and installing twrp or Xposed).
so please if you have the firmware or you can provide a link or any kind of help getting back to stock will be much appreciated even a way to install 6.0 or any other version.

Tried the second before posting here and it was a virus I had scan my Pc 3 times.

seriously, virus?? i downloaded firmwares from both links i gave you and had no viruses. i dont think you got virus because of links i posted. or you dont have any antivirus? im not sure if you will find C113B130 here or on the net. i hope you find it, if i get across that firmware ill post it here. good luck m8

i tried from the russian site and they give you a program to download it which instantly gave me a virus and my pc started slowing down so i had get rid of it.
if you can download it and provide a link to download it'll be awesome.

it cant be. i just tried it. clicked on download and the file started it self downloading. it doesnt download some unknown program.

Ofc its very possible to put anything in firmwares. It's the price you pay when you download stuff from the internet xd
But you shouldn't be too paranoid about it. If you really are, download the official firmware from sammobile and flash that again (if you have a premium account which you probably don't) OR use this: http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model
Downloads straight from samsung servers so its all safe and sound

Oh. For me, this website downloaded like 20 times faster than the download from sammobile. Maybe try sammobile too (though they do say 15kb/s max....)
To answer your question about the 3rd party thing, sammobile is also 3rd party website so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There already is a newer camera APK, TINY file, easy as falling off a log backwards to load.
I dunno, it will come eventually.

There is a newer build but it won't install on the current firmware. Maybe that's what the fuss is all about?
If this is your primary device I wouldn't be too quick to pull the trigger and start flashing. Then again it should only be a soft brick if it goes FUBAR.

I installed ATCT it has 10.0.02.7 camera version
And than i installed this newer version of camera apk and by my opinion its better

Thanks I didn't have access to a laptop at the time was trying to download the latest firmware to my phone so it was extremely slow downloading.
