Apps for offline music listening - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
Are there any other music apps besides Google Play Music which support standalone offline listening on Android Wear 2?
I'm a Spotify user but apparently they are missing this feature.

I use Play Music but before I used an app called WearMedia. It's a file manager/offline music player. Haven't tested it since I updated to 2.0, but others have. You can check it out, read the reviews and see what you think.

Try Musio
Plays offline, volume control and playlists are available. Plays on the speaker of the watch itself if your watch has speaker on it.

[Q] Playing music while using Stopwatch?

Hello everyone. I have decided to purchase the Moto 360. I am mostly going to be using it in the gym as a music player and as a stopwatch simultaneously. My question is: will this work?
Basically, I want to add my music to my Moto 360, connect a pair of bluetooth headphones to it, play music, and while the music is playing in the background I plan on using the stopwatch. Is this possible, or do I have to have the music app open in order for the music to play? Thanks!

you'll have to get one from the play store
Which variant do you have? Mine is in the settings menu. I really don't like it because it decreases the max volume when I have my Bluetooth ear buds.

I'm using a third party EQ and it works with Google play music.
Same problem here, but others with different carriers have an EQ? Seems like a glaring issue with this phone's DAC built in to not be able to tune music to personal preference.

Can I set only 1 app to the Music Controller on the AOD/Lock Screen?

Is there anyway I can set the device up so that only 1 app is applicable to the Music Controller, rather than the last music or video app which was playing a song or video?
I want to have Google Play Music always available on the Music Controller on AOD and Lock Screen.
However when I play a video in the YouTube app for instance, and then go back to the Music Controller on the AOD and lock screen, it has the controls ready to play the YouTube video ... meaning I have to unlock the phone, open Google Play Music and play a song for the app to be restored back to the Music Controller - very inconvenient.

If you double tap on the time/date area you'll be able to view the music player controls. Also tap on arrow to view upcoming calendar entry or go back to clock. Nice little AOD features!

music player

Hi all, anybody know of a music player that will syce between multiple devices including a pc? I usually use the Amazon music app but they've discontinued music uploads. Amy help would be great thanks.
Google play music is not without its flaws but it will at least do this (as long as you can live with uploading only from the PC or by using workarounds like a cloud storage synced folder).
I never noticed Amazon had disabled uploads for non-paying customers - there were things I liked better about the player, but the free storage limit was too small to be useful to me anyway.
if you use iTunes you can use iSyncr and sync your playlists to your android devices and use Poweramp or a music player of your choice. Poweramp is a top notch player with a high quality EQ btw. I used to use Google Play Music from time to time but it is lousy at syncing from my computer to the cloud and to the phone and tablet. it adds the same albums like 4 times over in the playlists and gets them all screwed up. So i gave up.

This is googles sync tool, point it at your music folder on your PC and let it rip. Songs will be streamable from the Google music app.
