Let´s see if it work´s better.
Can you not install a detect of other audio Mod´s there autmaticly uninstall?

Sound is totally distorted on onplus 3t with vertex OS.

Try to uninstall any previous sound system or clean flash

It was a complete clean flash.
I've also removed aptx labraries and changed build - prop to aptx=false.
Phone speakers are working, but Bluetooth not.

Tested on redmi note 4 running aosp. Bluetooth speaker seems problems. But on phone speaker..its perfect

I will try to fix the Bluetooth in next updates. But working only with poweramp that shouldn't happen. If you have audio mods or audio fx uninstall that. And provide log

Just for Xperia music

I have an Samsung S6 Exynos and an LG P880 both with Nougat.
Does SoundEnhancement really works? I mean the EQ settings or Clearaudio+ or the VPT Effects like Studio?
I got this if I unpack zip file on PC:
Xperia.X.Musix.by.MAdMiZ.zip: Checksum error in XPORT\Supported\vendor\libaudioalsa.so. The file is corrupt
Xperia.X.Musix.by.MAdMiZ.zip: The archive is corrupt
unpacked on Smartphone the file libaudioalsa.so is not unpacked

after install whatsapp or cam record the sound is mute...and on V2 audio setting turn on DSEE HX...surround sound clearAudio+ nothing to change...

Can I install it on my Mate 9. I have viper4android, do I need to uninstall it first or just turn it off or uninstall the driver but leave the apk.
I have Sony MDR-1000x, will this mod enable LDAC Bluetooth codec?

[APP][ICS] Sony Walkman music player for u8800

This is just [UPDATED] [APP] Walkman for ICS Full [ICS] by ThilinaC adapted to u8800.
I removed some apk's because they didn't do anything in u8800.
If you only install the apk, the background of the player does not change according to the album cover. With that zip it changes
Install the app + libs:

does it have widget?
Does it have some audio improvement, special equalizer, etc?
Is it compatible with Google Music? If I understood correctly, it overwrites default music player and GMusic is a must for me.
Holy crap, sr21, you rock, man.
Thank you so much.
Also, yes, it does come with the widgets.

No, it have widjets for Albuns, Artists and Playlists.
It does not have a widjet for playing songs like Google Music, Apolo or PowerAmp.
The widjet that has been ported didn't work in my phone. Because of that I didn't included it in the flashable zip.

It is a good music player like others.
I don't have a 450€ beats headphones to see if have sound improvements or not. The sound of u8800 is not good at all, so the improvements aren't very noticable.
The biggest improvements that I ever seen were with Beats Audio Mod that I posted in the General Section, but with it you couldn't set the volume to the maximum or it'll cause a little bit of distortion.
I don't have Google Music installed, so I don't know if it is compatible with it or not.
You can always try it and if you don't like it, just flash the delete zip. It'll restore the aurora files and remove the ones of Walkman.

I didn't tested it together.
If you use Beats Audio Mod, download the Walkman zip and extract it. There is one app in the folder data/app, just install it as a normal app and you have the Walkman installed without messing up with Beats Audio.
I'll take a look to see if they use the same fibs!

Some of the files used by Beats Audio are also used by Walkman.
I don't know if mixing them together will be bad or not.
If you want to use both, I think you should flash Walkman first and then Beats Audio for two reasons:
1st: You can remove all the Walkman files with the flashable zip that I did (it'll revert your system files to Aurora 4.0 defaults). You could reflash Beats Audio and it'll be like a fresh install.
2nd: Beats Audio shows best audio improvements in than Walkman. Walkman have a nice player and that's it. Flashing Beats Audio after flashing Walkman will force the system to have the Beats Audio files and your sound should be great as it was when you only used Beats Audio. And probably Walkman should work also...
You should use this Beats Audio version: BeatsAudio5.1.zip

Introducing LiveBass HiFi...
Deep punchy bass and crisp highs. Realistic environments. Enhances low quality audio files.
Available in Concert, Studio, and Pro (my signature effect) for phone speakers, earbuds, and headphones.
Tweaks may be necessary for optimal sound for your listening device and audio player.
I created the profiles for the devices listed below, but any rooted device with ViPER Audio can use them.
Concert- Loud with extreme punchy bass and some reverb.
Studio- Sounds like a recording studio, minimal reverb.
Pro- Loud with punchy bass and optimal reverb.
Supported Devices:

Special Supported Audio Players (The players I used in the creation of FS LiveBass HiFi):
Coolpad Arise 5560S - This is a cheap good stock android phone. It is rootable and has a 1.2GHz Dual Core CPU and 512mb of ram. Costs $20 at your local Kroger, Dillon's, or Gerbe's grocery store.
Samsung Galaxy Centura - This is a common android Straight Talk or Tracfone phone. You can get a refurbished one for around $10. It is also rootable.
Moto E LTE (Surnia)
Special Supported Listening Devices (The listening devices I used in the creation of FS LiveBass HiFi):
JVC Riptidz HAFX8B
Nakamichi 780M
Nakamichi NC40

The devices in the list are the ones I have. My profiles may sound different on your devices. If you don't like it, you can change the settings. For you, I would recommend changing to Master Gain (Limiter) output gain to a lower setting, and have playback gain control off along with extra loud off.

No DDC's yet. Sorry, been kinda busy.
V3 is here! More audio profiles, add support for Moto E and JVC Xtreme Xplosives, more convolvers (not mine), and more!
A reminder to all: any profile can be tweaked. So blowing up your stuff is your fault, not mine. *This is your disclaimer*
No DDCs yet, I'll be leaving for the U.S.A.F. BMT on April 10th. I'll be be getting better equipment as well (likely toward the end of this year or early next year), it's going to be at least $5k.
Also I have a new music streaming service coming... it will be live after I get back from the military and set it up (could be a year as Cyber Transport has 8 months of training). You can try the service until it goes down on April 10th at audify.cf/audify

Improving sound quality, HD music players with lockscreen support

[ I've decided to rewrite the original description to make it more like a guide (since already I've found few interesting things ]
P8 Lite is quite ok in terms of hardware to make it nice music player. However comparing to old and rusty Samsung Galaxy Ace2 its sound quality is worse.
According to the tests (and hours of tests/comparisons I performed with two different high quality headphones) P8 Lite is only slightly worse but its main issues are significant stereo crosstalk and strangely boosted parts of middle tones.
http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p8lite-review-1280p7.php
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_ace_2-review-786p5.php
While EMUI 4.0 update introduces DTS which can be enabled and helps in terms of crosstalk it does very strange thing - boosts bass and treble but decreases some middle tones thus some tracks appear to sound kind of awkward and unacceptable.
Another thing is I wanted to also benefit from the HUAWEI lockscreen (I have linked my phone with corporate account which enforced me to have the pin lock on the huawei lockscreen and because of this - having additional lockscreen was not an option for me).
Other things to be considered while trying to find a good player were: folder play (I have my stuff well organized), nice widgets, good audio quality, ui that won't make me wanna throw the phone out of the window while using it
To keep the description clean I would mention only players which are significantly better and other tweaks I've used to make the audio quality better (actually - given the hardware limitations of P8 Lite - to be as close to Ace2 as possible).
Test base:
P8Lite with Marshmallow 6.0 Stock EMUI 4.0 B564
Players which performed very well in terms of quality without any hacks/flashes/blackmagic
- MyPlayer++ (lots of configuration options in terms of audio quality, nice widgets, no huawei lockscreen support) http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-myplayer-lightweight-music-player-t2892233
- DroidSound-E (only if DTS was enabled, may also be true for other music players based on BASS library, awful widget (need thirdparty widget like PlugInMusic Player), no huawei lockscren support) https://github.com/droidmjt/Droidsound
- PowerAMP beta (as suggested by @Zero_Rik) (audio quality and configuration capabilities comparable to MyPlayer++, nice widgets (configurable), HUAWEI LOCKSCREEN SUPPORT (hurray!) http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/forum/18-poweramp-v3-testing/
Players which I don't like but do have huawei lockscreen support:
- Huawei Music Player (you didn't expect this one? )
- Google Play Music
After playing around with various players still I was unhappy with the sound quality (although PowerAMP at least apart from good overal quality introduced the lockscreen support). Also I wanted the sound to be similar across all applications therefore I did not want to use PowerAMPs equalizer.
Solution #1 - Dolby Atmos ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/themes-apps/dolby-dolby-atmos-t3305789 )
Instalation was simple (flashing two packages in a row) but required recovery to be exchanged from stock to TWRP.
Once installed Dolby Atmos was working more or less fine but did not work in any way possible with PowerAMP.
Uninstallation is possible by flashing third package. Worked nice though for DroidSound-E
Solution #2 - DSP Manager from CyanogenMod ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...alizer-dsp-manager-lollipop-versions-t3106546 )
Installation was simple (again two packages). No straightforward uninstall (so I've made OS backup in TWRP).
This time audio quality was really really (tested in DroidSound-E and PowerAMP)
Solution #3 - Viper4Droid (did not test this one but people say its good
Please note that flashing another recovery over existing (installing TWRP) will prevent you from updating system to any further updates (unless you reflash your original stock recovery partition).
Also worth noting that custom DSP (Atmos or DSP Manager from CM or Viper4Droid) may not work for some music players!
Or easly use Beta programm of of Poweramp

Thanks for the hint. Although it is a partial answer to my question I'll take a look on PowerAmp Beta (I remember to have some issues with PowerAmp trial).
It also does not cover the problem with Huawei lockscreen support but anyway worth checking at least in terms of the audio quality.
Edit [few minutes later] : Well... actually it does the job! THANKS! PowerAmp Beta seems to be quite a decent choice.
Most of the stuff I wanted is working flawlessly. The difference between P8Lite now+PowerAmp AND my old Ace2 is now less noticeable.
And furthermore - this BETA PowerAmp uses the EMUI lockscreen!!!
Edit [few hours of tests later]: PowerAMP seems to be so far the best choice in terms of usability and audio quality. Unfortunately still Ace2 sounds a bit (but easily noticeable) better (at least with same headphones attached). This seems to be hardware related (as per the gsmarena tests) and nothing more can be done here. Anyway - the sound quality with PowerAMP can be really good.
not a lot of music player support lockscreen on our p8lite... to name a few that works are Default Music Player, Google PlayMusic (they both support defult lockscreen controls) and MusixMatch (it has its own lockscreen control)..
I guess it shows the lockscreen controls of only those music player ( that has its own lockscreen control ) ...
P.S. MusixMatch is quite good of an option too... It has its own equalizer, lockscreen controls and quite decent sound quality too

My goal was to find something which work with Huawei LockScreen as I don't need to have two lockscreens enabled (and due to the company policy enforced on my mobile I need to have password set on Huawei LockScreen so its pointless to have two separate lockscreens
Anyway - if it works for anyone else why not to try ones with separate lockscreens and disable the Huawei one?
I've just installed TWRP and flashed Dolby Atmos ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/themes-apps/dolby-dolby-atmos-t3305789 ).
With DTS enabled, Surround OFF, Volume Leveler OFF, manualy made preset in equalizer I was able to achieve quite good audio quality in any music player now.
...unforunately this setup does not work properly with PowerAMP Beta....... (PowerAMP seems to output directly audio instead of using external equalizer even though the "MusicFX" is enabled in PowerAMP and its configuration open properly Dolby Atmos).

I searched a bit and found this Snapdragon MusicFX APK in an OnePlus forum. You can install it like a normal app (no root needed!). Furthermore I tested it and it seems to work, but you should enable autostart and disable the background restriction for the app.
It's the normal MusicFX-app which you can find on many Snapdragon devices, so you have an equalizer with templates, a bass booster and a surround setting.
I succesfully tested it with Deezer, there you can go to audio settings where you will find the equalizer setting. If you open it you must choose the just installed MusicFX-equalizer. If you change a setting, you must pause the music for a second.
I hope this is helpful for you
Have a nice day!
