So my lg g2 is running on 10E (Philippines). i was told that its the firmware version of my phone. i wanna flash on Spiderio's custom ROM but its based on 10F which is from Singapore. the problem is will I still be able to receive 4G signal from my carrier?

Who is your carrier? You might want to call them so you would know.

i have a 32gb SEA model.
is there a way to transform it to a generic EUR version and received updates?
i have already flashed german eur v10g-EUR-XX
but on software info it shows "v10g-SEA-XX" and are included branded StarHub Apps and LTE is not working.
tried to flash official 32gb italian rom, but shows as "v10g-GLOBAL-SI", lte is appering but is unselectable,
as it returns to WCDMA/GMS and still there are branded apps...
is there any solution?
i need to have an EUR firmware....

The updates are done by IMEI so no matter what your phone will always be SEA and sorry you cannot change SEA to EU as far as I am aware.

You can install any D855 rom but you just won't get OTA updates for anything but a SEA version.

i get on software info v10g-SEA-XX (and not v10g-EUR-XX) ?

The suffix/model does not change when you flash a kdz.

I assume this problem is true for all SEA devices used in Europe, that is, non LTE connectivity unless you use temporary activation with code 3845#*855#

I already have the same issue with no solution. I have a Eur and i am already in Saudi Arabia. whenever i flash AME kdz it reverts back to Eur. never get LTE option in networks and i hate the service menu. so the only solution i found is installing the new i kdz.

I do own SEA 32GB phone but it is general SEA unbranded so no Star-Hub apps and it does have LTE / 4G which is auto activated. Try to flash this rom and it might solve the issue as it is still SEA rom.

Hello, which ROM should i flash? I have an AME phone with no LTE in the options, i want to use in Russia...we have LTE here.

Yes my device is unbranded Eur version. but still no luck to instal AME kdz. as what i mention before the only solution is the leaked i kdz.

already tried to flash
V10G-GLOBAL-SI (and also "i" version, leaked one...) but no lte... and all apps for singapore market (starhub, m1, ...)
I recently did this for a friend. He had an SEA 10e firmware on his G3 and I flashed the 10g italian firmware to his phone without any problems. He wasn't getting 4G on Vodafone UK earlier, but after flashing the new firmware, he gets it. I've seen a couple of people doing this as well. I just followed the guides posted here to flash the firmwares.

Any one know why these D855 devices from different regions cannot be used in other regions for LTE? I wonder if this is like the region lock on the Note 3 to allow Samsung to restrict warranty cover?

it seems to be locked by "ltesettings.apk" background app...
i'm not sure, but every g3, could be used with every lte band...
any other idea?

I'm not sure why you can't enable LTE. Maybe it's carrier dependent or maybe not. If you're not happy I'd suggest switching your device.

Hello friends, I tell you that I just bought two weeks ago this beautiful ZTE AXON 7 and they sent me the A2017 version that is not compatible with the 4G LTE networks of my country (Peru) ... I have seen that the A2017G version if it is And why I wanted to know if I installed the A2017G firmware then my phone could already work with the 4G LTE networks of my country ??? You are totally wrong. Your modem doesn't pick up the bands. You can change the firmware but not the bands you pick up. That is hardware not software
I bought huawei mate 10 lite (RNE-L21) few months ago and I am still using it but the only issue I am facing is I cannot get 4g on this phone with my current carrier. My current cellular provider projects 4g on B5(850) which is not supported by huawei mate 10 lite. So is it possible to unlock this band on my phone.
I am using stock rom i.e android oreo with emui 8.0 please can anyone help me. The phone is still in warranty.

Hello. I am in a pickle. I just bought a G5 Plus off of Craigslist. I've gone through hell with Verizon trying to activate it. After 2 hours on the phone with Tech Support, got LTE/Service to show as working, but unable to make calls or get texts. Mobile data was working though. The Verizon guy was stumped until I noticed the baseband is :
M8953_41.50.07.82.01R POTTER_INDIADSDS_CUST and the software type is retin
I've been to the Verizon store as well and they couldn't fully activate the phone. It's got Oreo 8.1.0 on there.
Is it possible that having this Indian baseband and software is what's holding me up from using it in the US? I've using my Verizon sim card. I'm thinking I can flash the stock US (retinus) firmware to it and get this phone to work. I'm sorry to post up, I'm just a desperate man. I spent $100 on the phone.
Any insight would be GREATLY appreciate. I've found the stock firmware downloads around. Thank you?
You may have the Indian variant, if so it does not support the bands to work in the US. Go to system-Regulatory Information, and post the model number. They different model numbers for different regions.
