Can't wait
I cannot Wait to try this.
Good New and Bad News
This worked on my P905V. I was able to root device and Knox was not tripped. Unfortunately I messed with DPI, device started but several system services/app crash in a loop. I went to recovery and clear cache, boot loop on Verizon logo. Also tried wiping data from recovery, boot loop on Verizon log.
AWESOME
AWESOME Thanks for the HEADS UP. It worked perfectly..Now to determine what bloatwear can safely be uninstalled and if I can get rid of the magazine page
I was able to use the Verizon Repair Assistant to get the device back up and running.

Using Kies I have the Verizon firmware downloaded now in case anyone needs it.
Rooted mine yesterday afternoon, froze all of the Update apps, got rid of Knox, removed bloatware....man, this thing is so much more fluid now.

Is it possible, with the tablet version with P905V rutted reflash it another regional firmware for P905? If possible, tell me how to do it. Just need languages that are not in the firmware P905VVRUANB1.
I just bit the bullet and got one today! I love love love this [email protected]!!! Can someone confirm for me about root, does it trip knox? Also are there any ROMS expected?
If I do this will it keep the tablet from taking updates. In the past I did not care to much since there were always Roms out there but with this Tab it seems no Roms are coming anytime soon.
Hello everyone
I've just got my hands on sprint galaxy s4. before you say anything about the thread already been made, I need to clarify that is model is the spark version SPH-L720T with "T" in the end. so far people are able to unlock the previous version of S4 but I couldn't find a thread regarding this particular model. So please can anyone help me unlocking this phone?
You didn't search. There's a thread for all questions regarding the Triband model. It is NOT possible to unlock that model at this time.

The only thing I have found is you can do it yourself by purchasing CMDA workshop which is $100 or you can have someone else flash it to Boost from ebay for $50 to $60. Some people have you mail your phone and others will flash it remotely via teamviewer. Best thing to do is get your device on a stock rooted ROM. Get it flashed to Boost and then install a custom ROM if you wish. I am personally going to get it flashed remotely after I repair my cracked LCD screen on my S4 and after I get it on a stock rooted ROM. Hope this helps.
Just search ebay for flash to boost
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313&_nkw=flash+to+boost&_sacat=0
rofl. boost IS sprint. same network...same towers...just like going from sprint to virgin...ITS STILL SPRINT...easy...taking ur sprint s4 and going to a whole diff carrier..THATS hard

Edit:Title is wrong, its a sm-g550t1
Hi there. I'm really in desperate need of help. I am not always a very smart man.
I recently installed TWRP using the guide for this phone, and the first thing I encountered was I couldn't install it from download mode due to FRP. So I googled that, saw it would go away if I unlinked my Google accounts, which it did. Then I made a backup immediately.
However, later I linked my Google accounts and so now, after restarting, my phone will just say Custom Binary blocked by FRP. I can no longer access recovery mode, only download mode, and I can't install anything due to the FRP lock.
I am very frustrated, have gotten little sleep, because as I said I am not always a very smart man. I rely on my phone for my work and I can't afford another one. Someone gave me the stock firmware but its in the TWRP format and I don't know how to install those files with Odin.
So please, if you have time I really need help. If i could offer any sort of financial thanks I would but I just can't right now. But I swear I'll send so much good karma your way. I've definitely learned a lot from this process, usually breaking **** is how I learn best, but I wish I did this with a throwaway.
So I've narrowed it down a bit. I need a stock recovery.img and maybe a stock system.img so I can flash them in odin. Please, if you can somehow help I really need it right now.

I know I have seen the forum below with the title that says updated on 10/25/16 but it doesn't work everything I do doesn't work. I've disabled all those packages and doesn't countless hours flashing and unflashing back and forth from custom to stock softwares. I am currently running software version G935PVPS4APK1.
I have the ability to update it to the newest software which is G935PVPU4APL6. As of January. I don't know if I should update it. Can someone please tell me if there is an easier Root method for PL6 or should I stay with routing PK1. If so which software do I pick and how do I root it. I need someone to verify they have everything the same as me and that it works.
Please verify that you have the following in common with me:
Carrier: Sprint (USA)
Software Version: G935PVPS4APK1 Or G935PVPU4APL6
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
**If these are not the same with the phone you have rooted with then I will not do the method you use seeing as those we do not have the same phone and there are differences.***
I really need someone that has everything the same as me that has rooted.
Thank you.

Haha! So basically EVERYTHING a phone was intended for...
I'm half-joking of course, but I do find it amusing that those are the two things a phone was designed for and yet they are in a way secondary to what we use smart phones for these days. I almost rarely talk on mine or SMS txt... everything is apps, camera, Whatsapp, Facebook, Signal, email, etc...
Let us know how you made out. Wifey's running PK1 and I can't afford to mess the phone up but really need root so we can use wifi tether. Thanks.
Has anyone tried this? For PL6?
