Has anyone else had issues with using magisk and arise or viper or Dolby suddenly not processing? Has anyone found a fix for this?

Hi guys,
does anyone know if Viper4Android can be installed to OxygenOS? Honestly, I don't really like Audio Tuner. That's why i would like to use V4A. Is there some kind of flashable zip which automatically removes Audio Tuner (like AudoFX etc.) and installs Viper on top?
Also, do I have to set the kernel still to permissive?
Thanks in advance!
I too wish to install Viper4Android. Has anyone managed to do so on the OnePlus 2?
I tried this but I get a very distorted audio when I enable V4A. Anyone got it working?
Thats because V4A does not work on OxygenOS, at least not for now. But if you flashed a CM based rom however, it should work as per normal.
Viper is not operating properly
As for me lolliviper is making noisy sounds when activated either with cm12.1 rom or oxygen os. I hope there will be a fix soon.
Does anyone know why doesnt v4a work with oxygen and can it be fixed? is it a fundamental unfixable problem or just a weird bug?
Go get the new community build of OxygenOS 3.0! V4A finally works!
Hello There,
Just flashed OOS OB3 and A.R.I.S.E sound system with Dolby Atmos and Daric manager, (had same issue with Nougat)
With AOSP/LOS everything is fine,
After that the audio in most game is in slowmo or broken, had this issue in OnePlus One too and solved it back in the day, now i don't know how to fix this,
Anyone else facing similar issue? any fixes?
Does anyone else have this? I am using AOSPExtended with Magisk 16.0, I read somewhere that Magisk is the cause of this? Is this true?
I flashed stock oreo roms on my g5 plus using fastboot and twrp methods. I also tried different versions of it (soak test 1 and october patch).
Each time I flashed the stock oreo rom, I encountered audio issues on music player apps like play music, spotify etc.
When a song played, I could hear a slight buzz as the song was playing, making it seem like the audio file has problems. Happens when I plug in headphones/use speakers.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling those apps and factory reset but nothing seems to fix this.
This does not happen with apps like youtube or the phone app, where the audio is absolutely normal. (with headphones/speakers/earpiece).
I have used custom nougat roms (stock and custom) and custom oreo roms like RR, PE and never faced such an issue with audio quality before.
Can anyone help me identify what the problem is?
please help if possible!
can anyone help?

There's most likely no way to figure out why some apps sound normal for you and others don't. A clean flash is always a good advice, if that doesn't help it's most likely a hardware issue (of your device or your audio hardware). I flashed stock Oreo a few days ago, rooted with magisk and flashed viper4android and ainur sauron as modules. The sound is great using Poweramp, YouTube or any other source.
what are the working modules that are working currently for stock pie
You can check the compatibility of every single module in magisk. I just installed YouTube vanced, viper4android, Dolby Atmos and gcam patch.
Excuse me Sir Wich version of Dolby atmos is working on Pie? I can't find one that works ?

1. Flash the Dolby unity light zip for magisk
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mm-p-dolby-digital-plus-arise-20181115-t3868192
2. Reboot
3. Download and install viper4android 3.3 from magisk repo
4. Reboot
5. Download and install audio modification library from magisk repo
6. Reboot
Thanks for the quick guide ?? ... I will test it
This is Dolby Digial Plus, not Atmos. there is no Atmos module working at the time being for Xiaomi devices running under Pie.
