I tried a hell lot to install ASUS Zenphone adb drivers on my PC( on Windows 7, 8 and 10).
I got the same error everywhere. Error 10. Driver not installed properly.
I searched the Internet for hours without success.
I hope XDA community has some answers.

I have been trying to get my Tf101 to connect to ADB for a good 6+ hours now. I have installed the asus software and drivers, I have installed the drivers that I found here for the APX, ADB, ext stuff and I still cannot connect. No matter how many times I kill and start the ADB server or try to use the ADB exe from the SDK or use the one from viper mod it's just says
List of devices attached
Nothing else is displayed.
got device manager to now have an android device tab with the asus transformer adb interface under it. still no luck.
BTW, window 7 pro x64.
Solved, apparently the tablet needs to be in USb camera mode.
Hi,
Trying to get my Nexus 7 connected to my laptop running Windows XP (32bit), SP3, to allow me to root it.
I've downloaded the Nexus Root Toolkit and I've tried installing all the different drivers from there (USB Debugging is OK), and even the Samsung drivers.
Every time, I get a error on the android ADB interface (can't install). I can't post a picture yet (need 10 posts on here), but I get the following in device manager:
Android Device
Nexus (!)
Other Devices
MTP (!)
Any ideas where I'm going wrong? I think I've read somewhere that XP is difficult to get communicating.
Cheers.
Oh, and it tries to install wdtCoinstaller01007 as standard for a driver.
Have also tried *01009
I have the same problem.
I guess the MTP while in debugging mode is not important
Hey Guys, after installed a new Windows Version (Win8) i can't install ADB/Fastboot Driver.
I instantly get the Error
"INF doesnt have Digital driver Signature" (Translated from German)
I've tried the Nexus Toolkit, but that doesnt help ...
Most likely Google has not updated the drivers for windows 8 as its not officially released
Sent from my Jelly Nexus S
I did a quick google search and found a few useful threads, check out this one. It seems most people with working Windows 8 ADB drivers had to use Wug's toolkit to uninstall drivers from their failed attempts, then disable the automatic windows driver search and get the correct drivers installed, and then after every reboot there's an extra step.
I'm at work right now and couldn't spend much time on it, but some google searches will find some similar threads.

I recently downloaded the Carbon backup app so I could back up my Nexus 7 before I root it. However, when I installed it, it needed to connect to my computer before I could use the app. When I connected to my computer, it said I needed to install the Google ADB drivers. So, I downloaded the drivers from Carbon's website, but when I tried to install them in Windows 8's device manager, it said that no drivers could be found in the directory I specified. I do have the drivers unzipped, and I had it check for subdirectories. I tried doing the same process with the Nexus Root Toolkit, but it ran into the same problem. Even when I tried to run the backup utility, it was unable to reboot my device to start the backup process. What should I do to get these drivers installed? I am running Windows 8 64-bit and my Wi-Fi 32 GB Nexus 7 is running 4.2.2. Every time I try to install a driver, I get the error "Windows was unable to install your Nexus 7." I have tried various Google and Asus USB drivers, and none were able to install.

so basically you didnt bother to try turning off the driver signature as instructed in the FIRST link?

Keep in mind that this will work on win 10. I've tested it on win 7 and during instalation (some blue screen installer) it was written that this is for Samsung device. Running same intaller on win 10 it gave info that this is for android or google something. So, it will work only on win 10.
