I use this phone and does not have HD voice, why?
I have 3G and 4G network.
I have the same problem. I have the active option from my provider but in the settings there is no option to activate the 4g calls. I have the VNS-L31C432B381 firmware
Like this?
There is no option on my phone.

In cust/hw/eu/prop/local.prop
I have this
ro.config.hw_volte_show_on=true
But no changes in Menu.
I don't see VoLTE option.
I moved this line in build.prop also... but, nothing
I'm on Marshmallow
VNS-L21C432B170
Edit:
I have to search in Settings.apk smalis.

You can just put this line at the end of your build.prop file
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
make sure to have alternative nav method before rebooting

you do this and all apps lose the ability to open the menu with apps that use the overflow menu button. i used to use this method until i realized that.
ex: go to wifi, then try to open advanced wifi settings. you can't, unless 4.3 fixes this...?

Hey everyone. After rooting s219, by changing some lines in build prop we can see volte feature in network settings.
But no volte symbol in status bar
Paste these lines in build prop. I can't see volte symbol may be due Vodafone. Those who has jio please let me know if it works in s219 with root.
ro.mtk_volte_support=1
persist.mtk.volte.enable=1
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
Thanks

So by adding these line you don't have volte enable option in network setting. ? or it just changes from 4g to H+ when calling?
I have attached 3 more files which are extracted from s208 ota, add them in system/bin/ and give permissions like rwxr-xr-x with ex file explorer. these files were missing in s219 update. i am not sure about the permissions. sad part is that i am not getting jio sim for testing. that's why i need your helps.
Pls let me know the result.

Oh, not had this problem, probably add those files and see if you can make calls and restart phone. because i thought only editing build prop will enable volte. seems those files also needed.
I added them along with changing build prop lines. and i was able to make call too.

No, Vodafone doesn't support volte at the moment in India seems. I called customer care. Don't know that guy knows about volte or not.. So I am not sure whether it's working or not. I can make Normal calls.

can you try this apn settings once?
Volte feature in k4 note does not have to do anything in system partition. Its relevent files and settings are somewhere in data or some other partition.
I am saying this because I am using s208 build which supports volte but if I wipe data and internal storage, volte stops working. So, it has to do something with partition other than system.

After rooting Row S219? Is there a root for S219 i tried the guides in rooting my s219 k4 note I end up with bootloop.
Follow this link. One of best guide. Easily understandable. Let me know if it helps. First flash s219 build properly with sp tools before beginning the rooting procedure.

Did you try to add a new wifi network to your list, to see if the new one will be hashed?
Because on marshmallow only the new passwords that you put in after editing the build.prop were not hashed and the old ones were still hashed.
