Samsung Galaxy ON5 Multi-Window - Samsung Galaxy On5 Questions & Answers

Has anyone figured out how to incorporate the multi-window/multi-tasking function into the on5? The Xposed Modules are "alright" but they're just not up to par. I'm talking about a function where you can have an app open on both top/bottom halves of the screen without the overwhelming size of the fonts or layouts inside the app..
For example: In the Xposed MODs, the top/bottom layout is correct & even adjustable, but the content inside is as large as a full screen layout.
Im wondering if there's a way to fit the content inside to app to fit the reduced size of the screen.
I've done everything imaginable to this device (ie. Root, Adotpable Storage, Xposed, TWRP, Debloated, Stock ROM Backups, Advanced CSC Adjustments, Unlocking, Changing Device Carries while still Carries Locked, Serial Number & IMEI Masking, FRP Bypassing w/o flashing, etc....) but I have yet to find a way to incorporate a perfect multi-window function.
Maybe I'm a day dreamer, maybe nobody fully understands what the f*ck I'm talking about, or maybe Xposed is as perfect as multi-window as it'll get. If you do know of a way though, I'd be greatly appreciative if you enlightened me.

Bump because I'd like to know too.
What Xposed modules do you use? I tried the buildprop user to userdebug switch multi view, but I couldn't adjust size. And adoptable storage? This phone takes up too much internal memory, waiting for a "good" ROM.

[Q] The "new" TouchWiz annoys me, how do I change that?

Well, I believe all of us already tasted Lollipop, be it through the couple of AOSP builds or the leaked official build.
We also know that the Xposed framework won't be deployed on any device running ART anytime soon, and many of us loved those little (or not so little) tweaks we did through various modules.
Like GravityBox and Wanam's module.
Long story short: I like everything on the phone working as it should, including the camera and the S-pen, and for that, I need TouchWiz based ROM, and the two questions I want to ask are:
1. Is there any way to get the "Volume keys skip music tracks" on TouchWiz Lollipop, and remap the behavior of the home button? (what I used GravityBox for)
2. And is there any way to change a couple of colors on the whole system UI, because I don't know how stupid Samsung can be to set such bright colors on an AMOLED screen?!? Let me not mention how it hurts my eyes. (changing system UI colors was what I used Wanam's module for)
I believe I'm not the only noob that would benefit from the answer to those two.

Is Omnirom good for tablets?

Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N8000). It has the original Android 4.1 and I want to upgrade it.
I am not sure if I should install Omnirom. So I want to know if it will be worth. I prefer roms that are lightweight, easy to use and a little bloated.
I tried Cyanogenmod and I hated it, because it is only for cellphones and for that reason it is poor for tablets.
Compared to the standard tablet GUI, CM has an unneeded upper bar. Everything could fit on the bottom bar instead of using two bars. The touch keyboard has fewer options and the number keys are not independent. Furthermore, my language needs diacritics. The menu where apps are listed cannot be managed easily. The standard GUI lets me uninstall apps, sort apps, move apps and create folders.

Modding mechanics of notification area, unlocking and system color?

I would really like to upgrade (currently 4.4.4) but I remember from the last time I tried Lollipop that it has this impractical UI design where you have to swipe down twice to get to the full options of the notification area and also "unlock twice" if you set e.g. a pattern lock.
Is there any ROM or tweak that lets you have "single swipe/unlock" even in current ROMs?
I also hate the cyan system color, so ideally, I'd also like to change that but that's really a nice to have, not essential like the things I just mentioned...

How to make navigation bar transparent in all apps all the time [ No ROOT ]

There has to be an easy way to make the navigation bar be transparent in all apps. I have used immersive mode in all apps before but I find it annoying having to swipe up all the time plus some of the apps dont behave well having this mod enable.
I have seen many threads going back to 2015 but no concrete answer on how to get a transparent nav bar. Now basically all I want is to archive something like the screenshot I inserted in this post. As you can see in this marshmallow version of android, when opening the app drawer the nav bar is transparent and the icons have a dark shadow in case the background of the app is white.
Is there an easy way to archive this look in Samsung S8? I am aware of xposed app. but is requires root. Is there a way to do this unrooted?
Apparently I cannot submit images since this is my first post. Just copy and paste on browser to see the images I am referring to

You can achieve that with Nova Launcher. Full version of the app is paid but I believe Dock settings are available even in the regular version.
I've researched this same topic pretty heavily and just like you haven't found a concrete answer. I'm pretty sure root is going to be needed though from what I have read. System ui needs to be modded from what I understand. ADB has come along ways without root permissions so who knows, it may be possible without root. I've tried various ADB commands with no luck so far.
Sent from my SM-G955U1 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I did the reverse (sort of). Installed Softkey Edge application and then enabled immersive via adb command and loved it since because I want to maximize screen real estate and the navbar gets in the way

Question about using the app Simple Control

In my quest to make my S7 Edge as much like stock Android as possible, I went looking for an app that would give me an onscreen navbar at the bottom of my phone. Simple Control does this very nicely, but the problem is that it overlays over what's already on the screen, making certain elements untouchable. Is there a way for me to sort of squash the screen so that the navbar will fit nicely underneath everything else on the screen? I guess changing the dpi or resolution or something?
I know that if you have root (which is super buggy and not worth it atm) there's a build.prop edit that adds a navbar but it's pretty ugly imo but it can be edited via third party apps

Yeah I've heard that root is not reliable and I've been holding off on that. I hate that Samsung has locked down this phone so much...
Anyway, what I've done for now is disabled the hardware keys using All In One Gestures, and made the virtual keys accessible by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, and they disappear after about a second.
I must say that I rooted my s7 edge with the Eng boot and I really haven't had any problems at all with it. No restarts using lspeed and everything is smooth and snappy. Battery life hasn't been a problem, but I got a trianium battery charging case just in case I ever need more power. I'd say if you are on the edge about rooting with Eng boot method it's definitely worth it just to get rid of the bloat alone. Hope this was helpful although not exactly what you were asking about.
