MWg AtomV Quick Menu v1.0

I found this in MWg's official website, however, it can only be installed on the latest MWg's Atom V.
What a shame that, even for my newly bought MWg Atom Life (not O2 XDA Atom Life) still no luck installing it.
Can someone help bypassing this installation barrier? So more people can enjoy this app.

I've tried "un-cabbing" the cab file because I thought the lock was in the setup only but it is also included in the body of the main exe file. As I don't know how to reverse engineer an exe file and I don't know either which compiler was used to create the program, i am stuck!

someone pls make a fix version for all ppc. it looks very good.

I have managed to get all the files out, and I have the today plugin linked on my today screen, but the actual exe is hardcoded to only install on the AtomV and so I get an error whenever I try to run it...

anyways to repack it to new cab files to install for all ppc?

he said that the exe is hardcoded against the atom v, it can't be re-cabbed to install and run on another device, simple as that.

That's true, but I wonder if I can change the device ID in the registry to trick it into thinking my prophets an AtomV. I would do it now, but I'm adding some finishing touches to my latest ROM and so I can't. But maybe later today I will try.

I think the check it's done on /windows/gbcCELib_Exe.exe or in /windows/gbcCELib.dll (it install these two files). I have viewed these two with hex editor, and it's what I think, but my knowledge is very poor.
The maker of this soft are Brogent, but in this web, nothing to try.
I would try this soft, it resembles pointui+spbmobile shell.
Please, try to bypass the pda model check.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
For Lollipop 5.0.2 use version 2.
For Lollipop 5.1.1 use version 3+.
After install need to select this messaging app in Settings->More->Default SMS app regardless of the method of installation
With recovery:

Great job mate!was waiting for this to get ported.
One thing that force closes the app,is blacklist button,that s what i found during my quick testing:good::laugh:

I will remove it from settings. We don't have blacklist in stoke. Therefore app is crashed.

No. You will have two apps after install (stock and cyan messaging). And you can select what app you want to user for sms in Settings->More->Default SMS app

Working as it should in z3c running stock rooted 5.0.2. Any plans /ideas on implementing the blacklist feature without crashing? Nevertheless many thanks man!

To use the blacklist you need it to be globally in the system. Sony no blacklist. Simple will have to be ported from cyan very much. And it is unfortunate I have no time now. Maybe after the summer

OK, something I noticed. Led doesn't light up when new SMS is received. Anyone else noticed that or is it just me? Do I miss some kind of setting?

I tried now to send a picture mms. And I don't see an error. How do I see the bug? Can you describe step by step?

Yota flasher download

Hi everyone,
now that the YotaPhone is so cheap I ordered one for myself. I'm trying to get all the tools together to update it to the latest version which apparently is very easy with the official yota flasher. Unfortunately I cannot find a working download anywhere - the official one is down.
Can someone please upload the flasher tool? It would be greatly appreciated.

Can't connect phone to flasher
Hi I have downloaded the flasher and the new firmware. But when I try to flash the phone, I don't seem to be able to connect the phone to the PC, even when it is in "downloading" mode. The flasher just says "waiting for device".
Any advice is much appreciated!

You probably have to install the drivers first. You can install the drivers by navigating to the Yota Flasher Driver folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\yotaphone_flasher\Driver\Google) There you will find an .INF file. Right click on the .INF file and click install.

Still cannot flash
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I tried that but somehow the INF file did not install. I obtained the drivers from another source and installed them but still not able to flash the phone. Same message as before. Any ideas please?

and you will receive marshmallow update

Thanks a lot... there really is no way to get the yotaflasher from any other source.
But i still cant find useful rom's.
I just found a 4.4. kitkat and i am not sure if i really wanna try it out? Now i stuck in a bootloop on a 6.6 as i could figure out. I never saw it working, just got it with this bootloop issue. For free therefore
I hope i gonna get the thing working but its nearly impossible to find some not so dead links.
Even Yota removed all useful from their ftp's.

Thanks alot bro again I have a question do I have to start by installing lolipop and then flash with Marshmello in order to upgrade from Loli pop to Marshmello or I can directly flash with Marshmello. The current version I am using is having some issues it's saying process.system has stopped working

Hey @kimstar sorry for the late reply, I don't have this phone anymore and I don't remember very well. But I know there was a post in the forum explaining how to go to Android 6. I think you could flash it directly. The option of going to the Android 5 (Russian version) and updating I guess is not longer available as the servers are probably not working any more.

You need to install Headunit Reloaded Emulator to connect androidauto

Hello good day!!
This firmware does not work for me, I decompress it in the root of the Flashdrive and also put the compressed file, but since the system update it does not show me anything, as if there were no Flashdrive. Comparing with other firmwares that I have found searching the internet, this one seems to be missing files so it does not detect it. Putting other firmwares in the Flashdrive unit if it detects them and lets me update, but not with this one.

Hi, find a match / search by android version (on first picture) on this forum and in youtube videos.
When found appropriate firmware , download and put two unzipped files on USB drive and update manually when you boot up davice (it must detect update, start tapping rapidly on screen till you see message detected, rest is automatic).

It will work?

Download this zip file from link and unzip this file.
When unzipped, in a folder it will be two files in folder, put them on USB drive and update.
