Hey I own a chinese variant of Axon 7 and I wanted to transform it to US version cuz I saw many did it before or asking for it. But I was wondering why doing such a process ?what are the benefits of this conversion ? does it have any drawbacks ?

did you actually read one of the guides? Or another question thread?
You can't change the modem anyways, so you can't get more bands or whatever

I had Only read the title of a thread and see some members who asks for a method to do so. That's why I'm asking why bothering ourselves to do a such transformation ? are the 3 variants different from each other (Not talking about bands)

I never received a PM from you vndnguyen.
There was little interest in the guide before it was removed. And now many are asking for it. My guide was stolen by another XDA member. Once staff have a chance to deal with the thief, I will repost it. I can only assume that they are busy though as I haven't heard anything further in four days. So they probably haven't looked into it yet.

Thank you so much.
I'm not sure if it is the same as fffft's instruction. But I will save it for reference.
Do you know if anyone has added successfully using this instruction?

yes users have done it without problem. you should use cm11 and arc kernel though for best results.

Yet you still post a new thread. I'm helping you out by teaching you to find stuff for yourself but if I just do everything for you, what will you learn? (Besides how to get your feelings hurt by XDA members.)

So I'm looking to get a redmi note 7. But I can't tell which one to get. I seen a lot of post with lavender. What version would be the best option for variety of ROMs? I'm sorry if this has been asked already , in the wrong section or late.

If the thing you are most interest in are ROMs then get the normal Redmi Note 7, that's the version that's got more ROMs.

Yes, it's probably the best version to get.
Thankx
Yeah Global RN7 and you're good to go as long as the LTE and UTMS bands match your area
Anybody know where a step by step guide on doing this?
Search.
I have searched, I couldn't find one which is why I posted the question. Normally I would think it would in the 'kernel/recoveries' area but I haven't seen a complete guide.

Hey so the question in the title I want to install a custom rom and kernel on my old J510H which has dual sims in it which is really important to me.
My question is can someone recommend me a kernel and rom that won't ruin this function? Is it at all a concern? or am i just paranoid?
Thanks!

I was told to try odyssey note 8 v1

Yes i meant j5 2016 forum
That's a right forum
And about odyssey rom
I have tried it on my j515
Nice rom with a full ported features from note 8
Absolutely amazing rom but for me it used a battery a lot and a little unstable (you should check for your self maybe it's much better for you)
Personally my recemndtion is aosp which is light weight and free to choose what you want
But that model i think maybe be the same as a 2015 model and sim 2's data doesn't work(on H models)(still say maybe, this thing was with me from oreo with aosp)
Other things are ok
You know you should look for what is best for you and just try roms one by one
