i have had no complaints about this phone yet, its awesome but i have always had one issue, whenever i am making wifi calls, skype, facebook chat, discors or any other VOIP i can not get a single good call going, it's filled with disconnecting, choppy audio, distorted and delayed voice and i was wondering why. Then upon googleing i found out that the redmi 3s chops the wifi speed down by half when bluetooth is enabled. But on my testing it does not chop it down by half, it chops it down by like 95%!! (see attachment)

this is ridiculous, i use a bluetooth headset as my primary headset for everything including my phone and i cant even make a voip call in peace. Is there any mod or so that i can apply to help this out
Bluetooth and Wifi uses the same frequency, I.e. 2.4 GHz.. I may be wrong, but it could have something to do with sharing the band.

Xinone (working title for this concept)
Here's the idea. Imagine you have several (WM) phones, each one with own phone number (work, private, etc). There are situations you cant have ringer on or you can't hear it. You have place just for one phone in your pocket so you keep secondary phones in the bag.
The whole point is to make Bluetooth links (all secondary are phones connected to the one primary phone) to receive notifications and status info on your primary phone.
Here's a simple diagram...

I know this is not for everyone, but WM is great for business users and you know - missed call/sms (may) = missed opportunity/money.
Well, all I want from you is to get some your opinions. Is there something like this already? Do you want it? Would you use it possibly? What features should it have? What events should it notify?
it kinda reminds me of grandcentral have you checked that out before but this is more of an application rather then a service
Hello
I have found that if I am streaming music or listening to audio book via my Sony BT headset (paired with no issues) I will then have issues with my WiFi connection...

if I then stop the audio streaming I then get this....
the difference in a stable and usable WiFi connection between streaming audio over BT has meant that I can now rarely do this due to the above issue.
I am on the stock 4.2.2 ROM but I have tried others with the same result.
Is this typical of using both the BT and Wi-Fi at the same time....?
Note that if I pause the streaming of audio it then seems to be ok for the WiFi in the short tests that I made.
I sometimes use my One to record our band rehearsing, and overall the 'HDR' microphones cope surprisingly well with the high sound levels (we're a metal band with a loud drum kit).
However, I've started to notice that the right channel of the stereo recording seems to be consistently louder and, hence, closer to clipping than the left one. You can kind of see it in the screenshot below. I'm fairly certain it's not due to the acoustic conditions in our rehearsal space.

Has anyone else noticed this or is there something wrong with my device?
I have "u-connect" in my jeep, and it's very convenient to make and receive calls thru the jeep's speakers, but I like the s-voice interface so I want to use that to make the calls...but it doesn't work in the jeep when Bluetooth is enabled.
Anyone have any workarounds for this?
TIA!
No one else had had this issue?
Rather than assume you're doing everything right:
In settings language and input, make sure you have voice recognizer set to Samsung.

Make sure hands free is enabled in settings and svoice
I don't have vehicle bluetooth, but this works with my headset.
♢NoteIII♢
I am experiencing a weird behaviour that when phone the is connnected to WiFi network and Bluetooth device (playing Music) at the same time, the WiFi speed gets reduced. I have attached both screenshots (with and without Bluetooth connected) taken from SpeedTest app.

That is common.
Bluetooth and WiFi are together on SoC (in laptops too)
Two in one kind of thing.

Are you sure? I'm wondering if its a hardware issue or something.
Try 5Ghz Wifi, it should work better with Bluetooth
