Hi guys I've just installed a custom on my galaxy tab 4 3g, but noticed that none of the customs detect my sim-card. I've tried almost all of them (CM13, CM14, DU, PacMan) but there's no positive result. I tried re-intalling the modem (XXU1ANH6) via TWRP but it changed nothing. Could someone tell me how to make 3g work, step by step, please?

I have a samsung galaxy s4 i337m in canada using the rogers netowork. Ive been using customs roms shortly after i got this phone. Ive used samsung rom, original, GPE but eventually settled on Cyanogenmod. I use TWRP for the i9505 which allows me to use any rom (since CM12 doesnt have a build for the i337m, and other builds wont flash in a i337m TWRP).
Anyway ive been using CM 12.1 with a i9505 build for some time, and it works great. I had to update my modem to the NI2 build to get it to work, but its been working flawless ever since.
Now to my problem, buddy has an S4, same model, same carrier. He claims he needs a new phone and i beg to differ. I rooted, installed twrp (i9505)and cm12.1 (i9505). works great, however no network connectivity. I remember i need a new modem, try the same one that works with mine....nothing... try a different one.... nothing. calls and SMS, but not data of any speed.
Reverting to kitkat roms results in it working perfectly (multiple modems). both from his original Nandroid and CM 11. All lollipop roms seems to have the same issue, no mobile data. Wifi works fine. No issues with SIM card, switched them between the two phones and confirmed its HIS phone with the issue.
Im a little puzzled, can someone recommend a modem to load? should I try to use TWRP an CM12 for the ATT variant/ different variant? I want to help him but this is making me look amateur (even if its true).

I decided I would give cm13 a try after reading that there were no issues for my model. Well now I'm not able to connect to any cell data sources. I've checked the APN's and flashed different ROMs all cm13 based (because that's all there is available). None of them seem to work. My carrier is AT&T USA. I really need some help. I need to get this resolved or find some instructions how to reload the stock ROM from ASUS because I need this phone working by the time I go to work. Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I just got it to connect to LTE, if anyone comes across this I HIGHLY recommend you do not use the nightly "cm-13.0-20160517-NIGHTLY-Z00T.zip". Instead use "cm-13.0-20160514-NIGHTLY-Z00T.zip"

So I have only 3G connection on my Note 3, can't connect to LTE. I think it broke down a while ago when I was updating MagmaNX to UX10. ROM was working fine so I decided I don't want to break it down further and decided to go on with just 3G. But recently I decided to switch back to RR N by vidwhal, becuase Magma became laggy so I started playing with different modems and the result was either bootloop on older modems or just 3G connection on later ones. Currently I'm on CP_N9005XXUGBPG1 but I tried almost all of modems and BL from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/bootloader-baseband-bl-cp-samsung-t3582504
It's apparently not ROM dependant as it's broken on both MagmaNX and RR N. Any other ideas on how to fix it?
Oh, and GPS also became pretty bad, it takes a few minutes to get the first fix.

Wouldn't connect to LTE on stock as well. Finally I found out it was not my phone's fault but carriers. Other SIM card in my phone has LTE and my SIM in another does not.

I flashed custom rom (Pixel Experience) and everything works very well and stable.
However, I have one problem with this Rom, LTE doesn't work at all (only 3G/HSPA+).
I tried to flash soft again without success. I also tried to upload FireHound Rom also lack of LTE.
Even when I try to force it by a command *#*#4636#*#* there is no signal, though I'm in LTE range.
On the stock Rom I had no problem with LTE.
Does anyone have a similar problem?
How can I fix it?

Check your apn settings & set your prefered network on 4g or LTE
hello guys i'm using the galaxy note 4 n910L it's running on refined nougat v6 rom now and it's fine everything seems to be working but as i try any other roms which actually support it, cellular service is unavailable or disabled. the only other rom that is working fine is the nemesis rom, all other roms that i tried that booted up on my note 4 have the same issues. i have tried flashing the core pack which i found in the forums but still no luck and cant get the cellular service to work, anyone here had the same issue with this note 4 model? how to fix this, thanks...
