Hello
I have p8 currently stuck on b118 ,and need to have newer version to be able to upgrade to marshmallow .
I have GRA-L09.
I live in south africa so OTA updates takes month sometimes years before we get it ,so I need to do manual way.
Which firmware should I get to so that can upgrade to marshmallow? Download link would be nice also
I think its written step by step in the Marshmallow thread mate, you have to install B200 first and then Local Update with 6.0

Just flash B200 when downloaded, and then update to 6.0.

I dont recommend to you to install beta mashmallow for everyday use, people say its buggy from what i read, like call disconecting, memory leaks etc. But if you want to try it, good luck!
Great sorted was easier than I thought
Hello,
I have L21C02B122, branded by Vodafone. I didn't get Nougat so I was thinking of changing to C432. Is Nougat worth it ? How buggy is it ?
How easy is it to change to C432 ? Can you point out a thread...
Thanks

Its still in development, in my opinion it is more valuable to save the varranty. Nougat is faster but wait for official OTA since with third-party ROM providers you dont know if youre going to be able to install new upgrades.
Nougat is so fast!! Interface and browser I love IT!

I came from Vodafone too.
Used this toolkit to debrand:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...pe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873/page67
Later upgraded to Nougat via OTA and everything is working fine. I do not use any root or TWRP modifications.
it is worth it. i don't know if the official ota for c432 is out yet, but if it's not, you could install b370 from one of the guides here. i don't know if that's beta or not. if you want to receive ota updates you could always flash back to stock mm and then install the official ota to nougat

If you want help, then make sure to tell us more details about your problem and try to use Google Translate or learn some English...
Personally I didn't understand what's your problem, but I guess that you meant that you can't downgrade to 5.1.1. If that's what you meant, then I have no idea. As you may know, J500H is stuck on MM because Crapsung's update.

Hello!
First, let me tell you that you don't need to make X same threads or posts to get attention. One is enough. You just need to be patient.
You better wait for OTA.
The latest firmware is B350. I've used it on my CAN-L11 and I've found it better than B340, which was laggy a bit. The battery backup seems to be as EMUI 4.1, more or less (according to my usage).
The bug of Themes app can be fixed if you're rooted. Here's a guide about how to fix it.
In this post I've wrote the steps I've used to update to B350, through Firmware Finder. Just "click to show content". If you have locked bootloader, then skip the steps 3-->6.

It's said that firmwares from Firmware Finder are official ones, but I have no proof about that. I think B340 is a beta and prolly B350 too, not sure.
As I've said in my previous post, I've experienced some lags with B340 on my CAN-L11 and I can't recommend it. I didn't have any issues with B350 though.
There wasn't B350 neither when I've updated it. I installed B340 and then updated to B350 through Settings > System update.

As far as I know, you can't. You have to install C02 over C02 and C432 over C432. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes it could be, but make sure to backup your data then you can carry on..it will simply downgrade your bootloader and recovery of your phone and then your phone is able to get updates because recovery is downgraded .. and download firmware from there use patched ost tool and flash it ..
