Have never seen so many closed threads in 12 yrs on XDA

Was a goood discussion on screen characteristics of the SN2 that I wanted to get back to. Got back and...'closed thread'....there'd been no flame wars, no contentiousness. I've seen a good amount of these here.
Wtf moderaters/gestapo, we're adults here....would you please allow discussion to play out?

Let me tell you what I have seen today, when I opened XDA.
Threads like:
Galaxy Note 2 Specs
Galaxy Note 2 files (wallpapers etc)
Samsung I hate you
Galaxy Note 2 screen....disappointment
Kudos to Samsung for Note 2
galaxy Note 2 vs Note 1 ( i think I've seen more than 2 threads)
UNPACKED IFA....
List can go on foreva..
If I was a moderator, I would close General Forum Tab for about 2 days until people control their emotions and stop opening unnecessary threads. We have plenty of existing threads where we can express our opinions and criticism.
Now can someone close this thread please?

Why is the [India] users thread being repeatedly closed??!!

Please explain what the problem is, if we have a Indian users thread for Availability & Pricing of the Galaxy Note 2 ?? This is the 2nd such thread which has been closed in 3 days.
By asking us to post India prices & where available in the "common" thread is ridiculous !
I do see other "Price & Availability" threads in this very same Forum being allowed to run un-hindered.
I have been posting previously in the Samsung Galaxy S2 Forum and there were dedicated threads for INDIA users.
Please explain !!

Yes, I agree with Derek, we are not having common discussions and the topic is specific to India. What's the logic in closing that. You would rather have people talk in Indian Rupees on common threads?

You're breaking the rules. We have a dedicated buy/sell forum, ebay etc for a reason, can you guess what that reason is????
