Didn't seem to make much of a difference for me.

i don't see aney diference.
Not much difference here either. Checked with GPU profiler, still spikes when switching between the drawer and the desktop.
Prefer to use the app drawer button so I enabled it.
Absolutely no difference here (Exynos version). The apps drawer still stutters heavily.
Touchwiz probably need to be re-written from scratch for a smooth animation experience.
Absolutely no change
No change, but Samsung fixed a lot of so called issues. I guess that excuses them for any further effort, so they can focus on other things.

Have you reorganized the drawer? Mine were spread across multiple tabs.
On a side note, after updating things became very sluggish. So I uninstalled all TouchWiz updates. That cleaned out all my app icons on startscreen and the rest.
Updated again and organized it back to how it was. And is the same as before the update unless when you keep your fingers on the screen.

So happy they didn't change too much. Meaning we can prob use most of our themes on lollipop. I really like this os but with lollipops art, battery optimizations and speed and fluidity, with animations... This should be a beast

The only thing that WOULD suck is if xposed doesn't get released by then.. I really like how minimal my os looks due to the tweaks box. (Theme abilities on home screen and such)

Aw.. I really liked how Lollipop looked like. Wish I could use it by default, and not by using AOSP or a Nexus device =(

Hi
If you just try the L navbar for a wile you dont want any thing else.
I realy like the estetic feel with the simple shapes. Try it out ?
I think the dev of XPosed kinda said he has no time to work on the project for Lollipop and either way it would be a "monstrous" task to make it work - but maybe something changed.

Hmm wonder if there is an apk lying around that would work on my s6... [emoji41]

Ok I installed the version currently available on samobile.. it worked!! Now if I wanted to revert to my s6 version of touchwiz I thought I could choose the option to uninstall updates under apps??
Uninstall updates isn't a button as you can see?!
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I know you're looking for previous versions of the Samsung keyboard but there are far better ones available.
The best one overall is Gboard (Google keyboard). Gives shortcut straight to Google search, allows a moderate amount of customization (themes) and allows slide typing.
Swiftkey and Flesky are two other ones that are pretty close, Flesky has some serious perks in terms of screen estate and theming (you can customize the look to virtually anything you desire). Both of these are free as well.

I got this stupid thing also.
It's peel smart remote. If you're rooted uninstall it. If not disable it.

My dad had the same thing. As soon as we disabled peel remote it was gone.

OMG Thanks! For those not rooted another option, try this.
Deinstall peel, it will say only removing all updates, which is ok. Do that. Then go in playstore and while it's in the list again to update : change the option to not auto update this app. So, select peel from your update list, by marking it and up right in the settings make the change. Each time there are updates you will have to say to skip it, but this nagging unwanted crap is gone and back to what it was. A useful remote tool.
Hope this helps.
Very despicable practice of this firm. They charge you a dollar a month to get rid of advertising. Sad.
Thanks - in the last few days I have been trying to uninstall Apps to see which did this nasty thing!
It's too bad as at first The remote app (Was it just Smart Remote) was nice but it got out of hand!
Hello
I was looking for the customizable Google Search widget update when I first heard the news about it.
I have realized that I am now using much more recent version of the same. .
But I still could not get the overflow menu in the widget to customize it.
Did anyone got luck with that?
I am in the Google app beta and have it

Am i using incompatible version ?
I am not getting the overflow menu.
It seems to be tied to the main account on a phone. I just set up my partner's new S8 and the custom option appeared. Not on my S8 or G6. I don't think it's phone specific, but rather tied to an account that has it activated. Very frustrating.
