How can I disable lockscreen notification for my mail and WhatsApp only? Without disabling all notifications for these apps? I hate the new setting. Previously I was able to disable lockscreen and peeking G and now I can't. Do t want other to see what I'm getting while my phone is locked.

I'm using this amazing lock screem notification app called NILS located here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roymam.android.notificationswidget&hl=en
It gives me the exact display I'm looking for in the lock screen. However the Touchwiz missed call and text communication notifications with the big ugly gray box are overriding it which is very irritating! I would much rather just use the NILS application instead of any other widgets.
I tried using lockscreen policy to disable widgets but it will not work. Also checked "disable preview" for text messages but it still shows the notification.
1. Is there any way to prevent the screen from turning on when theres a notification from messaging ?
2. The privacy feature when disabled shows your text message on the lock screen ,Turning it off the message details get turned off in the drop down bar as well.
I noticed they added custom notification tones for ringer and messaging in the contacts app so I want to stop using SMS popup but these things are rather annoying.

A few days ago I had to restore my phone and I wanted to get my original SMS notifications settings back but I couldn't figure out how to...
I want:
-stock SMS notification on notification bar
-custom vibration pattern
-reminders with custom vibration pattern and custom time interval/number of reminders
-no 3rd party notification on notification bar
I was using handcent and stock, and it was working fine.
Now, I either have no vibration/notification from handcent, or vibrate with the notification in the notification bar...really annoying....
I tried using some apps like SMS alert, SMS notifier, and they couldn't serve the above.

Isn't there any option in the app?
Hello, is it possible to enable Messenger notifications on lockscreen while using AOD so that they wake up the screen so I can preview the message? Atm I can just see enlarged messenger icon on AOD but the screen doesn't wake up. SMS work just fine. I'm in Android 7.
