In particular one to bring up a menu to turn off LTE.
Cheers
You can dial 3845#*(model number)#
This brings you to the hidden menu and allows you to disable LTE and more. I used it to disable thermal throttling and fast dormancy. My version is the Att one so I dialed 3845#*800#
Hope that helps.

I wonder if setting the ecc mode to 1 in build.prop would turn access to hidden menu on.

Thanks mate. yea this works 3845#*802# for my Expansys.co.nz purchased LG G2 D802 international. that said where/how do you configure/check LTE isn't on? Alot of menu settings that quite frankly make me nervous so any help on narrowing down the setting would be appreciated.
sweetness this phone lasts and lasts doesn't it!
enjoy
Hi to all!!
Sorry to bring up an old post but I thought it was the right place to do so!
I have a 801 converted to 803 (rooted with lolipop installed 5.0.2) SP is Videotron in Montreal, Canada... The hidden menu was accessible before but now, I can't acces it... Tells me It can't connect, incorrect IHM...
Any ideas on how I could solve this problem?!
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi I ve AT&T d800 5.0.2 with root. I remove AT&T adress book with titanium backup and now there is telephone contact. When I go contacts settings and contacts to display there is not telephone bar there. How can I fix this problem Thanks
Open your phone’s dial pad and type the following code: 3845#*<model number>#. For example, type-
3845#*800# (for At&T model)
3845#*801# (for T-Mobile variants)
3845#*802# (for European variants)
3845#*803# (for AT&T and Canadian variants)
5689#*980# (for Sprint LG G2)
It appears occasionally in my notification bar but I don't know what it means. It looks like a house with Wi-Fi coming out of the top maybe?

not sure what network you are with but it could be viop or phone is acting as hotspot, just a guess.
Could it be Miracast?
I don't have Miracast enabled devices at home, so I'm just guessing...
Cheers!
I don't think I have any miracast devices on my network and I'm definitely not in mobile hotspot now. Running on Verizon

Do you have a Verizon Network Extender?
Nope... maybe someone in my building does though. I'll check what I'm connected to next time it comes up

Yup, someone nearby has a VZN Network Extender and you're connecting to it.
Hello everyone,
Please forgive my ignorance on this, but I've searched all over and not found an answer.
Can anyone tell me what this icon is or what it means?
Thank you!
I believe that is the icon for the enhanced lte service. I've seen it somewhere on the Verizon 935 page if I recall correctly. Did you flash engboot?

I believe that's what it is. If you go into settings and turn off enhanced lte service and back out it should go away and that should tell us if my theory is correct.
I'd turn it back on afterward though.

FYI I had the icon after root on PG1 but after a reboot it went away even with enhanced services still on.

Odd. It did not go away for me until I flashed the S7 fixes zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...sed-unroot-t3411039/post67605246#post67605246
That seems to have caused this icon to go away permanently on my system while leaving enhanced LTE settings on.
I just noticed this icon in the status bar (the one with the plus sign in the circle) last night after messing with some settings and can't for the life of me figure out what I did lol. I'm running the Weta rom.

Recently updated to OOS 10 and the status bar signal icon doesn't show the connection type (LTE, 3G, etc.) I'm pretty sure it was there on OOS 9 but maybe I'm mistaken. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Hmmm, maybe there's a setting I'm missing or it could be carrier specific.

Yeah, I should have clarified that I'm talking about when wifi is off.
I'm using xXx NoLimits on my rooted OP6t so on a hunch I disabled it and rebooted. Lo and behold, the LTE icon came back. I re-enabled xXx, rebooted again and the LTE icon stayed. Ultimately, it may have just been the reboot that fixed it but at least it's back. Thanks to those who replied.
