hey, I have Yoga Tab 2 830-l with android 5, root and link2sd. On the last weeks I cannot update some games from google play because they have error 504 (package are downloaded, but weren't installed), for example: Real Racing 3, Score Hero, TheoTown, Brain It On! I tried to clean cache and data from google play. I tried to reinstall apps, but I had the same error during installation. Any idea of the problem?

Hi, firstly thank you for breathing new life into a (really) crap tablet. I had just about given up on them (I have two...) and was about to use them as skeet, and buy a Nexus 7 when the CM10 mod came out.
Installed it properly, all went well and it worked for a few weeks then yesterday morning for no apparent reason I became unable to install apps from the Play Store. Initially only a few wouldn't update and later in the day I found myself unable to update or download any new apps on BOTH tablets.
I get several innovatively named errors, like package file invalid, unknown error 24, error 3, unable to download file and my personal favorite "no file to download"...
The wi-fi is solid on a 30Mbit cable connection and I can browse the web with no issues so connectivity is not at play here.
Google Play Store version is 3.8.17
They are both on the same build (afscm-10-20120808-UNOFFICIAL-k1) with the signed gapps package added.
I'm currently using one (mine) to test, after clearing all caches and rebooting several times it's still no-go. I'm about to flash with K1_CM10_Flashable_v2 as a last resort, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

(EDIT) The K1_CM10_Flashable_v2 tablet seems to work normally for now but I'd rather not have to format/wipe my wife's K1.

I recently upgraded from DN2 to DN3.2 and I have encountered a error
When I a game (apk+data) it will all install fine but when I open it, it opens for about 5 seconds then close's saying "Unfortunately, FinalFantasy5 has stopped" I know that MC4 work's perfectly fine then the error occurs later on (a day or 2) game's with just the APK work fine (9/10 times) and most apps do but a few also have the same error..
Is this to do with the ROM or is the game not compatible with my phone and is there a way to fix it?
Also I did a clean install of the ROM so the phone is out the box like new and I did the same with my SD card.
If you are restoring them with Titanium Backup, you need the latest version of it.
Also, some final fantasy games are not playable in rooted phones. Don't know exactly the details. Google that.
Hi, I have Cyagenmod running since about 1 year. With the latest 2 nightly releases I now got Android 5.1. The update was fine with the exception that there was no connection to the Google Play Store. Deleting the Cache did not help. Installing the complete GAPPS package failed as system memory is too low, therefore I installed the mini package. Still same problem. Now I installed the latest Google play Services APK with the result, that most Google apps (like music store) crash short time after a reboot. Sometimes even the keyboard does not work any more.
Any solution?
Ok, the keyboard works again, why so ever. But play store still does not have a connection.

I have a Chinese Honor 8 Lite (model PRA-AL00) and I don't want to root it. I regularly have a problem with Play Store. The factory version of Play Store is 7. A few days after Play Store updates itself to version 8 I get an issue unexpectedly (I can't figure out what's the trigger). Basically when I open Play Store it opens and closes the window immediately. I see that it is still running but its window closes immediately. Here's what I've tried and does not work to fix:
- clearing cache and date of Play Store, Google Play Services, Download Manager, Google Serves Framework;
- stopping and restarting Download manager;
The only things that work are:
- factory reset (but i can't do it all the time cuz it's a pain in the butt);
- reverting Play Store to factory version and restarting (again, it's a pain in the butt to do it all the time;
Questiona:
- has anyone had this issue and found a solution?
- does anyone know a way to stop Play Store from updating itself without rooting (i can't and don't want to root my device).

Download the latest version apk and install manually once and see if it helps
Hello, already tried using the apps and tutorials here and in other sites, but I havent success, currently I already have all the apps installed (Google Play Services / Store / Login / Framework / etc) but when trying to install an app from the google play store Im getting error code 0 cant install / update the app. I searched on google for this error and it looks is something related with the file permissions but not sure hot to fix this on a kindle
any help will be appreciated
