[PLS HELP]D802 Nougat Infinite Boot - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed a few days ago AospExtended Nougat ROM, along with Lambda Kernel and Magisk
I worked fine for a few days, apart from Magisk haing a bug with "hide magisk"
Yesterday I plugged in my phone to my PC and I selected MTP mode and, as it was usual, it crashed and rebooted
This has been for me normal behaviour for about a year, so I wasn't worried
But it never booted back
It now boots ad infinitum, loading the LG screen for much more than usual and then launching the Android boot animation and never going into the ROM; I tried leaving it out for about two hours, it just won't boot
I also can't access recovery mode, pressing VolDown+PwrBtn just reboots it and then shuts it off
I was able to get it to boot in download mode but I never used it so I don't really know what I can or should do with it
Is there any way to recover my phone, let alone the data?
Should I just trash it and go buy a new one?

Probably bricked LG G2 running SlimSaber

So basically this rom is awesome but it had only one problem. When I plugged my phone in the charger while it was turned off, it bootlooped until I restarted with the cable off. It was no big deal and nothing bad ever came out of it.
Yesterday my batter ran out while I was asleep and when I woke up it was already turned off. I, absentmindly, tried to turn it on, LG Logo, off again. Did it one more time, nothing happened, realized it's out of battery. Plugged in charger, try to turn it off/on, usual bootloop happens. Say ok and proceed with what I always did, phone gets past LG Logo, goes into SlimLP boot animation and for the first it has just stayed there. No restarts, just endless loading. Longest i Left it on to load was about 45 minutes. Never got back on.
Apart from that, I think that for some reason my recovery got uninstalled somehow, by itself, a few weeks ago. I only noticed this because before, when I wanted to get into recovery, I pressed the usual buttons and it went straight into TWRP. Now the same buttons take me to the "Factory reset screen". I know that everyone says to just go ahead and press power, but I am afraid, since I am not sure if TWRP is still functioning. This happened to me another time on the same phone, and when I confirmed the factory reset, it factory resetted.
My problem here is that I want to get my music and photos. I'm only able to enter that factory reset screen and download mode. Can I "flash" twrp safely from download mode? Should I use Flash Tool 2014 and Normal flash(which says it keeps the data) a stock g2 rom? Can I mount my phone to the computer in download mode to copy my files? I want the most risk-free approach.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, first If you can enter download mode I think you can flash kdz (Kitkat) file to stock using Flash Tool 2014. But I had this problem once and the keep data flashing didn't work (stucked at 50%), I ended up flashed it with other option (erased all data).
2. You can try the "Factory reset" nice and easy.
I think you can't see files on the device unless you enter Twrp.
It's wise to backup your phone on the computer montly or so, thank you.
I went ahead and nuked my download mode using the SRK tools. Then got access to fastboot, through which I booted to twrp and then I could move my files. All's fine, flashed my ROM again and it's going better than ever.

[SM-G900F] Device reboots 3 seconds after display goes off

Device was working fine until OTA update to 6.0.1 (MMB29M.G900FXXU1CQDA). It wouldn't boot past the Samsung logo.
I downloaded that same firmware (and the one before) and flashed it via Odin 3.12.7, however situation remained the same.
Flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and then PhoenixROM 15.0 and device booted fine. However it would always reboot after display stays off for 3 seconds.
Flashed TWRP 3.1.0-1 and then LineageOS 14.1-20170802 and device booted fine again. The reboot problem remained the same.
The reboot problem is NOT present while device is connected to a PC, however it is present while connected to an AC wall socket.
Each time the display goes off the device stays off for 15 seconds before booting again.
Anyone got similar experience, any advice?

Did. Same case as with Marshmallow.
However there has been further issues, seems the phone can't be saved.
After flashing Lolipop the phone wouldn't boot via power button, but instead I need to boot it to Download mode and hit cancel.
This however makes it go to Recovery mode. Trying to boot the system from Recovery makes it power off.
Tried flashing TWRP back and when I enter it, the device keeps choosing random options rapidly, as if it's constantly detecting touch across the screen.
Therefore I'm no longer able to flash LineageOS back.
Gave up on the device in the end, seems to be defective.

It sounds like the touch screen is going wonky. Or the mobo has an issue. You could get it diagnosed at a shop reasonably cheap

Need help to unbrick my phone

Hi,
I have a Note 4 t-mobile that is "brick" right now. and I hope if anyone offer assistance.
It is running Android 6. Ever since the last upgrade the phone would freeze and reboot on its own. I fixed that problem by installing Wake Lock. After that it would still experience sluggish at time but the phone is still very much usable.
Lately, after watching a bit of streaming video the phone would slow down so much that a reboot is needed. But yesterday my last reboot turned my phone into a brick. After that reboot the phone rebooted itself to the download mode. So I took the battery out, waited for a few minutes and put the battery back in and started the phone. Instead of booting normally the phone displayed the message including "set warranty bit: recovery" and then followed by the flashing TWRP splash screen. By "flashing TWRP splash screen" I mean the TWRP splash screen ( with the TEAMWIN logo) would be shown on the screen for a second, then the screen black out for a couple of seconds, then the splash screen is back on for a second, and the screen black out for a couple of seconds, etc, and never successfully boot into TWRP recovery. I had left the flashing splash screen overnight and nothing changed. Connect the phone to my pc via usb and fastboot wouldn't recognize my phone when phone was flashing the TWRP splash screen. So I tried to flash TWRP again by starting my phone in download mode "volume down + power". When I connected my phone to my pc Odin recognized my phone. But when I tried to flash a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) it seems the download started but never finished (on the phone I could see the progress bar started but never progress further).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated1
Additonal info
I just wanted to add that my phone is still running the stock ROM.
Problem solved
Problem solved. Once I used a different cable and the download process actually worked and I was able to flash stock ROM using Odin.

LG G2 D801 Bootloop after flash/reboot

Hello,
I'm currently experiencing a bootloop on my phone, it gets to the resurrection remix logo screen during boot then restarts. I've tried booting into recovery and download mode. When I try to boot into recovery it loads the factory reset screen as usual but when I say yes to the reset in order to launch TWRP it just goes to the LG logo, then remix and restarts all over. I got into download mode one time since this started but since then I've made countless attempts to boot into it again and can't.
What I was doing right before this happened is, I recently completely wiped my phone, flashed stock firmware, wiped, then installed resurrection remix. Everything was going perfect, it started no problem, I went through and cleaned up some apps I didn't want etc normal setup steps then I used the power menu to boot into recovery instead of just using the hardware keys and the bootloop started.
Besides the not booting, the other major issue here is that it never stays connected to the pc via adb long enough to do any actions or flash a single file. By the time the pc sees it and adb sees it, I have roughly 2 seconds before it restarts again.
I really really really need any help I can get please ASAP as this is my mom's phone and she needs it for work in 4 hours. This issue started about four hours ago and I've been trying to fix it ever since. I feel like I have looked everywhere on here and through google but probably missed the solution. Before you ask, I'm 28 not a teenager and work in IT as a career for the last 12 years so don't get the wrong impression. She asked me to work on it because I had set it up a few months back with a lollipop version of resurrection remix and magisk, but in the last month or so she was having really poor performance and issues with settings crashing and a few other apps.
I hope you don't need any more info from me, if you do however I'll be here trying to fix it until she goes to work at least. I really could use the help and would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You

Lg G6 Doesn't boot anymore.

Hi, I've had my Lg g6 for 3 years and ran some custom OS on it, Havoc i belive.
The rom stopped getting updates so i stayed on the last version... It was slow, bad and buggy but it worked.
Yesterday my phone died when the battery ran out and it won't start, all i get in the spinning circle that goes on forever.
The phone does charge, but it just won't boot up, and my attempts go get into recovery fails.
I have to pull the battery to kill it, then tried vol up + pwr and vol down + power, it just goes to the boot animation.
Since it was years ago i had to fiddle with adb/recovery/roms i don't even know where to start, the first idéa was to boot into recovery and wipe dalvik or perhaps reinstall the rom, i think i still got the file on the phone....
I don't even have adb on the computer atm
Any ideas on what to do? Probably the flash is corrupted (or broken) and i feel it won't work for long if i get it working again...
Update: Got into OrangeFox and tried to install Havoc again. error 1 on that one so tried LineageOs that isn't dead.
Hope this works...
Stil booting, didn't bother with gapps and stuff until i know the phone boots.
Fingers Crossed...
Got it working by dirty flash
