Do your research please. The S7 and S7 Edge have locked bootloaders and cannot EVER use magisk as it modifies the boot image. The S7 and S7 Edge only accept Samsung signed boot images, and cannot therefore use image. Even the boot image that we used to root was a leaken boot image from Samsung Engineers.

Hey if anyone could assist me id owe you! Have a G935W8, Canadian S7 edge. took latest software update. Tried to cf auto root, using g935f auto root, which i've done several times in the past- now im completely stuck at the Galaxy s7 edge logo and it says "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" in the top right. I cant get into download mode either. Any one know what I could do!?
You must install clean s7edge CANADIAN VERSION software. Pay attention to model number, yours is g935w8, u can't use g935f rom/root unless its clearly mentioned that it's for every version of s7e

Verizon hasn't released Android 7 to the S7/S7 Edge yet.
There hasn't been any official word from Verizon on when they plan on releasing Android 7, but search for any information about it, a lot of different sites seem to think it's going to be sometime in March.
As for the root / unroot question, if KNOX was tripped during the rooting process, you may not be able to install the OTA update.
You might be able too using different software, which you should be able to find by searching the forum.
A handy tool to check of the CSC and KNOX were tripped or now, install the.

If it comes back saying Warranty Valid, then you should be able to install 7 no problem.
If it comes back saying Warranty Invalid, then you will probably need to wait until it's available for manual download.

That's great. The 935t is T-mobile. We have the 935v, which is Verizon. Which is what he was asking about.

Ivery rooted my s7 edge now I'm wanting to customise but can't find a custom recovery twrp for the g935v anyone had any luck yet???
As of yet, it's looking increasingly slim that we'll get a custom recovery or even an unlocked bootloader for that matter. Side note; been curious if theres been any talk about re-working the method for S6 and S6 Edge, similar to how they unlocked the Note 4's bootloader. SO! You'll be using flashfire for a while, my friend.
Hey I have tried to root my Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge 3 tines now and multiple times with Kingroot and fail every time. I have the Exynos version and my model is G935W8. I have been wanting to have it rooted since the day I got it just cause all my other android phones have been rooted and I loved it. I don't know why I can't fully root my s7 Edge.. The first time I had the frp lock then the second I got bootloop and then the third it just wouldn't root anything on my phone. It seemed as if it was going to root it and almost finish then fail right at the end. Kingroot seems to work but never fully goes through with it. I've rooted android phones before using Odin so I really don't know why I can't for my s7 edge. Any help will be great! Thanks in advance!
My S7 edge (G9350) upgraded to Oreo for a month and the performance really poor. :crying: I did factory reset to my S7 but performance nothing improve.
I want to flash my S7 edge G9350 from Oreo to Nougat/Marshmallow but not success because the FRP locked by Oreo.
I don't understand why I got locked by FRP even I entered correct Google account ( now my S7 working in normal except the performance )
Is there any possible ways to flash my ROM to Marshmallow ?
