Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) stuck at 'Samsung Galaxy S7 edge' - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I got stuck at the 'Samsung Galaxy S7 edge' boot screen and not the 'Samsung' animated boot screen and I can't make the phone work again. I got stuck one more time in the same day but at the 'Samsung' animated boot screen and I got out by entering in the Odin/Download mode and installing the stock ROM of Android 6.0.1.
Here is a list with what I tried:
- Force restart (with power button + volume down)
- Wipe cache partition
- Wipe all the data
- Mount /system
- Install stock ROM of:
- Android 6.0.1 (of my country)
- Android 7.0 (of my country)
- Android 6.0.1 (of UK which got stuck at ~90% in the download mode)
- Install root in download mode
The installation of root and stock ROMs didn't affected anything. I also can't get into safe mode because I am the the 'Samsung Galaxy S7 edge' logo not 'Samsung'.
I would really appreciate if anyone could help me :good:

I had this as well. I had to take my phone to a Sprint repair center nearby because nothing worked. Constant boot loop. Off and on Samsung splash screen. Tried flashing stock rom via Odin, multiple USB cables, nothing. I downloaded the firmware for the Korean snap model instead. So my lte wouldn't work, and because I flashed the 4 files( modem, pda, etc.,) said my service provider was KT Twophone service.
But it made calls so I was happy enough. Tried OTA update. Boot loop.
PRL update.. nope..
Took to Sprint and they were puzzled, as the Knox counter had not been tripped and device status was official. Honestly I think Samsung shipped Korean variants to Sprint. Because the bootloader is locked, how can I change the bootloader right? So even tho I flashed Korean BL to it, it still showed Sprint. My guess is you need MSL code from Sprint. Haven't asked for mine yet as I do not own my phone yet so they won't give it out.

Black screen after Samsung galaxy s5 logo.

I have a verizon galaxy s5 I rooted it with the help and guidance from xda members over here. The method I used to root my phone was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver.../safely-upgrade-root-4-4-4-nha-volte-t2879348 since i was already on NI2 I skipped steps 1. to 2.5 post rooting my phone everything was running pretty good for a few days without any issues but less than a day after I inserted a sim card in the phone it started randomly restarting so did a data wipe factory reset but the problem still persisted where my phone would would either randomly restart or go into a boot loop then I got the G900VVRU1ANI2_G900VVZW1ANI2_G900VVRU1ANI2_HOME.zip stock retail tar from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53447942&postcount=1 and used ODIN to flash it but strangely even after I flashed the stock firmware it gave me the UNLOCKED logo at start below the Samsung galaxy S5 logo so I did another data wipe factory reset and now the UNLOCKED logo has gone but I'm getting a black screen after the Samsung galaxy logo. I can enter recovery mode and download mode my phone also gets detected in kies even with black screen.
I'm pretty freaked out and devastated right now because of the suddenness of this problem. I hope someone knows how to fix this issue.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will not get past the Samsung "Custom" Bootscreen

Dealing with a Samsung Galaxy S4 that will not get past the Samsung "Custom" bootscreen.
The ROM was stock Android KitKat. It was rooted, and Safestrap recovery was installed. The Xposed Framework was also installed. The device was working fine.
Then the power button broke, so installed Power Button to Volume Button and Shutdown & Reboot.
Then used Shutdown & Reboot to reboot. The phone rebooted to the Samsung "Custom" bootscreen, but did not progress beyond that.
Have not been able to get past the Samsung "Custom" (black) bootscreen since then. :crying:
Here's what's been done:
Tried to enter Safe Mode
Pulled the SIM card out
Pulled the battery out
Put the battery back in
Pressed (and held) the volume-down button while putting the battery in
Nothing has helped or been successful.
There was no microSD card in the device, so all the data is on it's internal storage.
At the least, I would like to get all the data off.
At best, I'd like to get the phone working again.
TIA. :highfive:
Is this an AT&T sgh-i337 phone?
Stuck at the boot logo normally means you have soft bricked it. The only way to recover is to find the correct factory firmware for you device and flash it via Odin. Make sure it the correct firmware! Flashing the wrong one is a problem.

ATT SM-G930A (Black Galaxy S7 Qualcomm) bricked?

I have a AT&T Galaxy S7 (Qualcomm SM-G930A) and I cant seem to get it to successfully boot any firmware I flash on it. After Flashing, it shows the att splash screen then turns off with a unending "Charging" symbol. It all started after a damaged update that kept saying plug into Smart Switch to Use advanced Recovery, (Smart Switch Didn't even see it was messed up). What do I do? Haven't had that long and would greatly appreciate help, I'm completely lost on this site
if you still have warranty go to the AT&T store if theres not custom logo
You remember the last software you had on it? Could you try using Odin with that software and seeing what happens? (Will wipe everything on your phone)

Did you try flashing the nougat odin files. If not, Find the nougat Odin files on here and flash that using Odin. That is the latest update for our phones and that should work.

S7E bootloop

My S7E suddenly went into boot loop mode yesterday when I was driving and I cannot bypass it. It gets stuck on "showing S7 Edge - Powered by Android." screen.
I have tried the following:
-Enter ODIN mode and flash the official S7E ROM. Bought the phone as a EU model but using in UK. I flashed Nougat ROM of UK and France T-Mobile version. They all passed on Odin (windows) but they still came back to boot screen and stopped.
-Tried flashing Marshmallow version - same issue
-Smartswitch doesn't recognize the phone as plugged in.
I cannot seem to be able to get into wipe cache mode. (Tried to hold Vol Up+Home+Power buttons together before restarting).
I am kind of lost for options on what else to try.
Any suggestions please? TIA

s8 successful flash but still on bootloop... and another question

okay so back in nov 12. i posted here about the issue of my phone.
i successfully flash the phone with the latest firmware (i think)
Galaxy S8 SM-G950FD - XTC - G950FXXUCDUD1but still it didnt fix the loop (i only tried the home csc together with ap,bl,cp)
any option to suggest??
also another question about wiping the cache (i cant access the recovery mode cuz of the loop it will just proceed to no command then 2-3 seconds showing the recoverymode plus my phone screen is flickering already.)
is it possible to wipe the cache partition through pc (use of app or anything)?
i saw some post about just charge the phone for a long time (6hrs+) then the bootloop will be gone, is it true or some kind of myth?/ .. dang im running out of options.
i experienced the same thing with same actions, same binary and same firmware. still waiting for such solution from experts.
I have same issue. I flashed latest version of firmware for my S8+
It passed on Odin but never booted again. Stuck on Samsung Galaxy S8+ screen
Not going to recovery. I flashed TWRP but too did not work.
