Hi,
I recently bought the xiaomi redmi pro and I'm stuck on a fake rom. I can't update with the smartphone updater, can't enter in recovery mode.
Can I use the miflash or only trwp????
My phone is unlocked and I want to put an official rom.
Sorry my English. I really need a hand here.
Thanks!!!

enter fastboot mode (hold volume down and power on /or volume up and power depends on the boot.img) and flash twrp (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-pro/development/twrp-3-1-1-redmi-pro-t3610075) with command :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img
then enter twrp and erase data partition, install miui of your liking. i highly recommend miui.eu weekly builds found here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/miui-weekly-rom-releases.103/
if u have any further questions just ask
Thanks a lot!!! ?

Recovery version is flashable through TWRP? Tks
Thanks for posting
I'm running it since some days and have the feeling that the battery is a bit better, like 10% more power left evenings.
[edit]
My fault, I'm running 9.5.4.0 since some days, this release here is an even newer release

Yes it is
I'm trying to root my new Mi 9t and found this guide for the Mi 9t pro : https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/redmi-k20-pro-firmware-10-3-8-0-9-6-13-t3939647
Does it work? what doesn't work? thanks!
The bootloader unlock method is the same. (You have to wait 7 days...)
After that you just have to flash the magisk boot.img. (No need for twrp)
I can help you if you don't know how.
I need urgent mi stock recovery redmi note 7 please give me on whatsapp no. 9540770532
How to uninstall the orangefox custom recovery and go back to miui stock recovery
On Fastboot mode just flash the stock Rom (Global version for example).
I've used a patch to install one of the early TWRP ports which turned my MI 9T into a Redmi K20 (boot-logo and model name). Now that an official version is out I was wondering how I can revert the changes. Anyone know of any patch or changes I can do myself, so my MI 9T actually shows as a MI 9T again?
Thank you.

Mine ever since i unlocked the bootloader is start showing as K20.
I think that once it's unlock there is no mi9t logos as Xiaomi didn't made them

Wow, interesting. Of course this helped them to achieve this eye-catching price point.
So the model name is still the same?
My mi9t is still a mi9t after unlock and twrp. So xiaomi ofcourse did make the logos and eveything for mi9t and k20.
Eh, you can just flash the logo.img from the Mi 9T stock ROM. Model number depends on the ROM you're using,

Yes, you can use the patch again, or install a stock ROM to get the boot logo.
