Hello, my galaxy s7 edge SM-G935F doesn't find any software updates since I manually upgraded the firmware via ODIN from mashmello 6.0 to nougat 7.0. The phone is Vodafone branded and not rooted. See the screenshot for current SW info. Smart switch also doesn't find updates. What should I have to do in order the phone can automatically upgrade?
Thanks in advance for your solutions
Do a factory reset and then try

Is it safe to install orginal 7.0 stock rom by odin in my s6 edge plus?
Yes, no problem, just find suitable version of the ROM for your device. Or you can try custom ROM's, they have a lots of tweaks and better functionalities and battery life (most of them).

Build Number : MMB29M.G930AUCU2APG1
Please help me out.. Give me a link or let me know here...
I want to update my S7 to naugat and it is not updating over the air. When i go in settings, and press auto update... But it shows Software is up to date.
Please help me out.
Have you tried USB cable hooked up to a PC with Samsung SmartSwitch?
If that doesn't work, you will need to force your phone into Download Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power Button) and use ODIN on a PC to push AT&T official firmware over, which will erase all data on your S7.
http://odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.12.3.zip
And then, the 4 actual firmware files to load into ODIN can be found here in this thread:

Hi guyz
I have purchased Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935P but the i guess Tmobile firmware is currently installed. Is there anyway to confirm this.
Further, I want to upgrade to Android 8.0 but whenever I tap on system updates in settings it does not respond. I tried to update it with Samsung smart switch but it does not show any update.
Please suggest me a way to update my phone to android 8.0 without unlocking bootloader and rooting.
Thanks

Use Odin, i had this issue with my UK S7 edge BTU, download the 8.0 firmware from updato.com or sammobile and flash via Odin, use latest Odin for flashing 8.0.
I updated it but now i am facing connectivity issues.

I updated it but now facing connectivity issues and mobile data not working
Hey guys,
Use odin to update to oreo. After the update goes through its usual process, perform a cache wipe to further ensure a clean install and other temp files during installation. NOTE: For those that can't stand bloat, I bought package disabler pro (it was around 3.50 USD). I checked all bloat ware or apps I didn't use. This will further help battery life from my experience.
When all apps are checked, backspace out of the app and perform a restart on your phone. It will refresh your phone while all apps that were checked off while also be un-installed.
Wordy post yes but info is necessary for your benefit if you choose as such.

Not sure then as using Odin to flash official software is nothing too taxing. As long as you have downloaded the correct firmware for the 935P it should contain the correct bootloader and modem files for your device, possibly master reset through recovery and cache but other than that i cant give you any further advice.

When on android 7.0 the device was working fine
Could it be because t mobile firmware was installed
Further, in pritnversion i am reveiving error on hands free activation

Smart switch pc edition detected my rooted s7 edge and it shows upgrade button . I accepted all things and it starts downloading new version. Probably 8.0 oreo . After I cancelled download because it is not possible to do it into phone settings because of rooted so I scared. Does it really works after downloaded? would be really helpful to inform who tried that ,thank you
My phone version is G935L Korean version. ( 6.0.1)

I have tried different ways to update it that i read online, The latest one that I have tried is following the steps given from this Thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s8+/how-to/sprint-released-oreo-s8-s8-flashing-t3915872 but it gave me this output https://prnt.sc/oqjnp6
My phone is not rooted or anything just a normal phone. I am just trying to update it to the latest Android Version 9.0(Pie) , I just made this thread for the reason of maybe someone can help me on updating my phone.
Where you able to update it? Or are you still having issues?
