Hi all.
I just recently got my Sprint Galaxy S4 and yesterday I successfully rooted it using Chanfire's auto-root and then installed the custom bootloader using GooManager. Everything worked well and I'm all set there.
I'm currently "in the market" for a decent and stable ROM compatible with the S4. I'm not a developer, so I'm not really interested in experimental ROMs that could potentially be unstable.
I'm looking for something solid, user friendly, that will increase phone performance while still letting me do the stuff I love.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Forcerom but honestly the most stable will be stock ROM

Or Clark's ROM is also good.

TouchWiz is the stock Samsung launcher.
When you flash a TouchWiz ROM you will typically retain most of the "gimmicky" features that the S4 came with (IR blaster, air sensors, etc.) You may also notice better battery life on TouchWiz ROMs until AOSP is better calibrated for the S4. (Some may disagree with this, I personally see better battery life on my S4 on a TouchWiz ROM.)
AOSP means Android Open Source Project, which just means it's barebones vanilla android with no manufacturer skin/overlay over the top.
These are typically run by people who want a pure stock android experience.

My suggestion....read the OP of each ROM and decide what is right for YOU. No one likes the same exact features as you.
Then make a backup and try each candidate for a day. Don't like it? Restore your backup and try another.
You will never regret giving Blu Kuban a try.
Hello,
Which are the good roms according to you?
As of now i am using sungsonic HD .. not to mention the remarkable multi-window port it has achieved that i see no other rom developer do it , but it is not good for daily use..
There are almost 2 to 3 apps all editing the framework of the system , sometimes over-writing each other (Eg. gravityBox has many options which are same in WanamXposed..)
So i was wanting to switch to a better rom .. Would like to hear which roms are you using with its advantages and bugs
This is a discussion thread, please do not debate.
All roms are better in some way or the other.. do not criticize the hard work of a developer...
There is no such thing as "best rom", you said it: "All roms are better in some way or the other":.
Also, there is nothing gained from people telling "this roms sucks", "this rom rocks" and such comments, xda respects every developer's work.

Which is the best rom & kernel for our z1?

I think it's personal preference.
First you should ask yourself if you want to have a Stock ROM or a ASOP based ROM (like CM or ParanoidAndroid).
I personally prefer ASOP based ROMs. At the moment I use PA but I think about switching back to CyanogenMod because for me it's a bit more smooth.
But as I said thats just my personal opinion and you should test around a bit and find a ROM that fits best for you.

How about omni rom or resurrection remix?

Actually I think it's too much of a mishmash. Those ROMs are Cherrypicking from every Source (CM / AOSP or PA/AOSPA) and sometimes the features aren't optimized to work together. So I personally don't use this kind of ROMs.
These "best rom" threads are not allowed on XDA
Please head over to the development section and original development section and try them out for yourself.

Mr. @gregbradley, I am happy that you was welcome in Moderators Club, I know it was coming.
Best Regards.
..now I have to give you some respect..lol..
As mentioned best ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA. The question is subjective. Best advice is to head over to the development section, try some out and see which "best" suits your needs.

Wrong posting dear user ...
Features and changelogs?
thanx testing...
I think better remove this. Back it note 3, developer of echoe rom no longer wanted his rom to appear on xda.
Friedrich's not .. Me That I share my experience With Their hard work.
The last contact XDA moderation had from Friedrich he didn't want his stuff posted on XDA and pulled all his threads. The moderation team decided to honor this and so until such a time as we receive official word from friedrich saying otherwise we won't be allowing his work on these forums.
