Alright this is how the problem started:
last year I was trying to update the device to lollipop through OTA, update was being good until the battery ended in between the update, I didn't followed the instructions properly what made me not use the phone any more. I bought a new phone and bla bla...
This year, I found the phone again in my drawer and I'm desperate to make it alive again so me or my younger brother can use it..
I tried following several guides but I just can't boot into the OS, last year too and this time too. I have the firmware installed with XXU but it gives error so I tried flashing an XCU version and Voila! Odin flash Successfully.
After it, it started booting, during boot I saw the logo and black screen, the device was keep getting hotter until I saw the logo again, means it was in bootloop, I tried to enter the recovery mode, it just doesn't let me go to that instead it just boots up, so I tried flashing TWRP over it, it flashed successfully but recieved Recovery is not SEANDROID Enforcing and Set Warranty Bit: recovery.
I'm stuck here and I don't know what to do from here, any help would be appreciated. I'm ready to install custom roms or anything possible.
Model: SM-G530H/DV (Duos)
SSN: G530H/DVGMSH
If you need any more information, I'd be more than happy to provide.

Hi,
I really am in a hurry. Using this phone for work as well as personal.
My phone is SM-N910C. Had 5.1.1 COI4 installed, rooted with cf-auto-root through Odin and after checking everything was ok setting SeLinux to permissive with the app found in this forum. Installed latest TWRP and flashed this with it (zip on first post) http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/guide-how-to-make-viper4android-lollipop-t3075794
Phone got stuck on Android is starting... Starting apps. After 20 minutes or so, wiped everything on the phone through Advanced wipe on TWPR. Phone doesn't restart, stuck on initial Note4 white letters (no Samsung splash screen) and recovery doesn't work.
Download (volume down etc) works. Tried to flash the COI4 again through ODIN but it fails all the time. Phone says sw rev. check fail device 2 binary 1... and now everytime I connect the USB phone gets stuck at a grey battery charging icon, even when I unplug it.
What can I do?
THANKS!
Got it! It was because phone installed an OTA update thus blocking bootloader to lesser versions. Updated to COJ5 and everything is fine.
Hi,
I recently got me a Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) and the first thing i wanted to do was installing CM13 as I always do with my new phones. However, when i followed te steps on CM wiki using Heimdall to flash TWRP the blue bar of the downlaod mode increases a small bit, then stops and in the command promt it says something about error with finding PIT. After trying this for three times i decided to go with Odin, which I do prefer anyways.
I tried flashing TWRP , the blue bar is filling to 100% but then on the little screen where Odin usually states FAIL! or PASS! it just says RESET! and my phone is restarting. Shortly after it restarded you can see the RESET! turning to PASS!, but when I tried checking in TWRP is installed, it wasn't. I tried it again and then Odin suddenly says FAIL! After restarting my phone it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I couldnt even enter download mode anymore till I tried if getting out the battery would work. I could enter download mode again and flashed the same TWRP on my phone again, and aigain it says RESET! but after that my phone worked again. I tried flashing with another version of Odin and TWRP but same thing happened - First run it said RESET!, second run FAIL!.
I thought maybe rooting the device and installing TWRP via their app afterwards could do the trick. So i tried flashing Autoroot with Odin but it made my phone showing a screen with Samsung logo and in the upper left corner something about recovery mode, seemed to be a loop/freeze. So i took out the battery again and flashed TWRP and that solved the problem again. At last I tried rooting by using TowelRoot but it says the service is not available for my device, even though S5 is listed as a supported device.
I really have no idea what to do anymore, would be very grateful if someone could come up with a solution.
BTW: Is it possible to flash CM13 without using custom recovery by using stock recovery?
Greetings
Khalitas

RESET! is basically the same thing as PASS! What version of TWRP are you installing? The keis screen you got is the same as download mode. Why are you using heimdal? your idea to go with Odin was a good one. Anyways, download TWRP 3.0.2 (not 3.0.2-1 or 3.0.2-2 as they are buggy) and flash it in Odin, reboot to recovery and install the ROM you like, of course following its specific install instructions. No, you cant install a custom rom with stock recovery
Thanks for your answer, meanwhile i managed to fix this problem. Had to flash the latest Firmware because twrp (could just install the oldest version otherwise I had no option to boot into recovery at all) said no OS installed. After rooting via Odin worked like it's supposed to.
Why did I use Heimdall? Because I wanted to stick to CM-wikis instruction and they used Heimdall.
so i rooted my first android device about 6 hours ago went great. how ever i made a rookie mistake and turned off the oem unlock after I was finished now I'm stuck and fear i may have hard bricked my device, i used odin 3 with twrp 3.0.2 and installed the supersu even made backups using both twrp recovery and titanium backup. but when i rebooted my device im stuck in the boot loop with a red message stating custom binary blocked by frp lock. and recovery mode is not accessable, only option is download mode. ok so i tried to go back to the stock rom but i get custom binary(recover) blocked by frp lock. is there a solution here or did i prema brick my phone.
im not new to the modding process i have done a few other devices just never rooted a phone before today.
any ideas on what i should try next

ok so i was having an issue where i bricked my metropcs sm-g550t1 (galaxy on5) when i downloaded the stock rom for my phone i would get a sw mismatch D2 B1 error. the reason for this error is the update that came out in the beginning of 2017 changed the firmware version from PF1 to PL1. so if you are also having this problem when trying to unbrick your phone use the firmware for phone SM-G550T2 then use your twrp backup to unbrick but remember to turn the oem unlock on or you will brick your phone again
So I hadn't considered since this is a new s5 and it might not have been on MM which I believe autoroot tool requires currently. So now my phone can't boot or enter into recovery mode. I can't restore via KIES because it can't even enter recovery. It stays on a screen with the samsung galaxy logo and in the top left says recovery booting...recovery is not seandroid enforcing....set warranty bit : recovery. Anything I can do or did I screw myself? Should definitely add a warning on the newbie thread to NOT USE AUTOROOT IF YOU ARE NOT ON MM. Appreciate any help, thanks.
Got it into download mode finally -_- Restoring via KIES. Will let you know how it turns out. Towelroot still work? That might be easier next go around.
Hello all! I need some help with my Note 3 Sm n900p
I am in root (used win10 and kingo root for this) with absolute success.
Next, I followed this guide on Youtube: watch?v=4LyG5KW5jpQ
Upon flashing the TWRP .img file and rebooting I am stuck on the Galaxy Note 3 startup screen with the message "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" above it. It wouldn't allow me to shut the phone down, but I was able to reboot into recovery mode and factory reset/wipe the data partition.
It still will not boot or do anything beyond that same splash screen. I removed the battery as the phone will not shut down.
I don't know much about flashing custom ROMs, I was attempting to install TWRP so that I could flash Lineage OS 15.1 without using ODIN, without using a computer. Please help. I can't get it to boot at all as it stands and I'm worried I've bricked it permanently
Usual is wrong TWRP flashed.
What did you use to flash this youtube TWRP ??
As you are posting in a forum not for your phone its 99% a file for a different model .
Suggest you post in the forum for your model .

Did you unlock the phone's bootloader? I believe Sprint phones come with locked bootloaders.
