[VIDEO HOW TO] Use Custom Launch Phrase on Nexus 6 like Moto X 2014

I missed this feature from my Moto X 2014, thought I'd try creating a custom one & it worked; made a quick video tutorial how to customize it.

Awesome, now I'm curious if it works with other devices since seems to be a Google Now feature. I'll have to test when I get home.

Anyone notice that it forgets the custom phrase randomly? I've gone in and delete my voice history but it still seems to forget my custom phrase pretty often.

did motorola really push moto voice update to my 2013 moto x

So somehow the moto voice app was pushed to my 2013 moto x, and I'm a little confused as to why.... Anyone else seeing this?

everyone has this update. it changes nothing at all...

I'm sure that's what happened but when I install this it removes the touch less control option from the settings screen, but also won't show the voice app.

Yes I am. I'm running Eclipse v4.0 ROM and Faux kernel 12m. Is this my problem?

Okay thank you! I was looking all over for something about it, I was getting all excited they were pushing it. Weirdest thing ever. But it turns out that it doesn't even work when installed. Bummer!

I believe it says support for the Moto 360?

Oh, sorry. Wondering outloud. Mine says Support for Moto 360 there, and I just wondered if that is what it does....

Xperia based Rom-just an idea

I switched from Xperia M2 to Motorola moto g 2
I found that Motorola has poor ui and camera
I searched for ports but non worked - except album, Walkman & movies
.
I found a kitkat based Rom for moto g 1st called "Xperia ZG3" it had almost every thing Xperia phone had even the camera.....
.
.
Is it possible that any developer make us lollipop based Rom just like that or even a camera port?
I'm sure it's gonna be awesome Rom...
.
I hope any developer gets interested & sorry for speaking English badly like this

The first Moto g might of used a sony sensor,, but anyway I'll have a go.

Motorola has poor UI? You mean AOSP has poor UI?
I think Xperias UI is such a piece of ****. But hey you can always install custom launchers and use their theme.

Good luck, somewhere in forum is a cm12 theme. It is with all the mods near in the original. Btw i use vanilla xD

Someone on the 2nd page of thread said it worked on cm12
I found other ports but all had bugs
Status bar, action bar, ui is different from the one I had on my Xperia device

On the thread that had Xperia apps for cm12 some comments mentioned the camera the developer replay was that is possible if he had a working framework port

This is just aosp Rom with the album, movies, Walkman, launcher and wallpaper - all from Xperia cm12 add-ons -
It doesn't even have transparent status and navigation bars on home screen
.....
What I meant a Rom that have the whole thing from framework, system UI and sound enhancements To the apps

Driving mode?

Hey guys
Does anyone know why is the driving mode not present in the G4 Plus? [through the moto assist app]
I read at other places that it was enabled in the 2015 Moto G sometime back in Sep 15.
But with the current version, there is no such feature.

Not on marshmallow. They were replaced by the customization of the do not disturb mode

The Android Auto app was released, but I don't know if it's compatible with the G 4 Plus right now.

It's a really bad ROM you can't even see full battery stats on it and you can't use a third party launcher on it
