Hey guy's an girl, I just realized there's a daily limit on how much times file can be download from DropBox. I would have to check out android file host an see how it works.
DropBox work's great on Downloading file but not ?Uploaded.
Hi all. This is the UNLOCK version of G955U (G955U1).
To flash the firmware of G955U1, you'll need to used the modified Odin. I'll share a link for your guy's, flash normally as you would with the S7 Edge. Once you load the file in Odin, will take some seconds before ready to flash. I already flash it on my 2 G955U TMO S8+, everything runs great . Also I flash the AQEF baseband from TMO version, it have more band for better signal and work's better with the U firmware. I have tested cross firmware an modems for a few months now on my S7 Edge and now my Tmo S8+. Everything work's great, you just have to keep doing manual update of your firmware, it wouldn't say you have an update. Other than that, it works flawlessly.
Happy flashing
This are the link for FIRMWARE, PICTURE AND VIDEO PROOF. Tmo_S8+

Can you show us how you flash it on odin with the t-mobile base?
Ok I'll have to make a video, its very simple. Once you done it before on the S7 series, its the same process.

do you have the file for AQEF ap file?
Make sure you download and extract the 955U1 firmware an Modified Odin. Create an S8+ folder on your computer, best way to locate your files, Next run Odin, do BL FILE, then CSC HOME FILE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO ERASE EVERYTHING IN PHONE STORAGE, THEN CP OR MODEM FILE, LAST BUT LEASE AP FILE, which Take the LONGEST TO LOAD, 1 minute tops depends on your computer processor speed. Next step, turn on USB DEBUGGING, access from DEVELOPER OPTIONS. TURN OFF PHONE, NEXT PRESS VOLUME DOWN, BIXBY AND POWER BUTTON AT ONCE. USED VOLUME TO NAVIGATE UP OR DOWN. NEXT PUT PHONE IN DOWNLOAD MOD, NOW YOU READY. NEXT CONNECT PHONE TO COMPUTER USING ORIGINAL USB-Type C. When you READY EVERYTHING, JUST CLICK RUN ON (ODIN), WILL TAKE UP TO 1 MINUTE OR SO BEFORE YOU SEE THE STATUS BAR SHOW PROGRESS. JUST RELAX NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Thought I had it in the folder too, it wasn't there. You can get the FULL FIRMWARE FROM (ANDROID FILE HOST). Type in android file host search bar, G955U. You will see all the latest firmware for ALL US CARRIER. download and extract what you need, you'll be good to go after.

Depends on what you want. My S8+ is USING THE G955U1 FIRMWARE, I USED THE G955U1 (AQE3 BL), THE G955U1 (AQE3 AP), THE G955U1 (AQE3 CSC), THEN I USED THE (G955U CP). The reason I USED T-MOBILE BASEBAND IS BETTER NETWORK SIGNAL STRENGTH. ALWAYS USED THE CARRIER ( CP ) TO THE SIM CARD, Your PHONE WILL HAVE HIGHER DOWNLOAD SPEEDS.
Would I still be able to revert back to stock T-Mobile firmware?
Is this thread dead? Did anyone try this? There was a promise of a video on how to do this and yet nothing was posted. This is sounding more and more like a fake.

I agree
Isn't this the same as the XAA unlocked firmware as in the guides, discussion,...forum?
Hey all. You can still switch back to stock T-Mobile, just follow the same process, I tried it too.
There's a video, at the bottom of the thread you see a link from my DROP BOX FOLDER. I did everything from my T-Mobile S7 Edge running the lastet U firmware 4BQE2.
Yeah It's SAME AS THE XAA, the U FIRMWARE IT SELF IS 1 SINGLE SYSTEM, it just configures to each CARRIER SIM CARD.
Base on my TEST FOR US CARRIERS, T-MOBILE WORK'S THE BEST WITH EXCEPTION, (VIDEO CALLS). Other than that, I personally LOVES THE U FIRMWARE 100%.
Sorry I took so long to post the video, was busy with a construction project.

I was reading that the SM-G935U was getting great reviews by people who flashed it, and I was trying to find a guide on how to do this but everyone kept pointing to other threads etc etc. I Did some research and found out exactly the files that you need in order for this to work on the T-mobile version
EDIT: Since I'm new, I can't post links but I modified the link to come out as a non link
WARNING: I take no responsibility to what may happen to your phone, if you brick it, it becomes a shooting laser gun, or becomes a beverage coaster, etc etc, you have been warned and can continue with the guide
EDIT: I take no credit at all for this guide as I just put together pieces of other threads and copy and pasted the information to make it easier to follow, appropriate credit goes to the people that created the guides and posted the links
Before you start, make sure you have the Samsung phone USB drivers installed. If you do not have them installed ODIN will not recognize your phone. Here is a link to the drivers installation package: link #1
Note: The OP had personal success with this version of Odin: link #2
How to install:
Step 1. Put your phone in download mode. You do this by having the phone off and pressing the power button, the home button, and the volume down button at the same time, holding them until the download screen comes up. Sometimes there will be a prompt that says press the home button to continue to download mode. In that case press the home button as well.
Step 2. Flash the 3 files starting with AP, BL, CSC (IMPORTANT: Do not flash the Home_CSC) in this zip link #3 to your phone using Odin, all 3 of them at the same time. Unzip the files into a folder that contains your ODIN installation, or a folder where they are easy to find. Open up ODIN and put the BL file in the BL slot, AP file in the AP slot, and so on. Then flash all 3 at once.
Then, add the CP file on this link : link #4
After all the files are in the corresponding fields go ahead and press START
If something fails retry by putting your phone again in download and troubleshoot make sure everything looks good, if you have any additional problems or questions, post on this thread
EDIT: Add http and www plus the dots to the links to make them work

Nice, thanks for doing that, I've been meaning to make one forever but been busy. Question - Any reason you used the APIA modem rather than one of the newer ones?
the APAI modem is what I found other users to be successful with, so I sticked with it, anyone is welcome to try a newer t-mobile modem if they think it will be better, actually it would be a good test if anyone has the time
I'll test right now with the APK1 modem from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767112511
---------- Post added at 02:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:13 AM ----------
With the APIA modem, I get aobut 0.5mbps down and 1mbps up. With the APK1 modem, 2.5mbps down and 0.5mbps up.
Do u know if it unlock sim card? I am in APK1 it's secure install the firmware?
I read some things where missing when flashing this U firmware such as video calling and other things...anyone have a list of what else is missing. I know the carrier specific bloatware is gone but some folks did not want to upgrade for some key specific things that I can't recall...
Sent from my SM-G935T using XDA-Developers mobile app
The phone still asks for unlock code.
I am going to do it again.
1) Do I have to return to stock before ?
2) Maybe I misread your tutorial, I though it was flash BL, AP and CSC from U then only CP from TMB, isn't it ?
Else, could it be flash BL, AP, CSC then flash BL, AP, CP, CSC ?

Some people (actually only read of one user) that mention he had issues with incoming texts, but the rest of us are fine, video calling "button" is missing but someone confirmed that its working and it will "appear" if you make a call with someone that supports the feature. other than that I have not seen anything that doesn't work so far but its only been 24 hours since I did the migration,
the pros is that this rom gets extremely better battery life and is at least twice as fast as the stock t-mobile rom, I have no complains at all

I was stock when when I did the migration, basically you are going to do the flash in one shot, put all 3 files plus the t-mobile modem file "CP" and make sure you use "CSC" """not home CSC"""" and flash it accordingly, it should boot fine if you have the files in the correct fields

Yes and yes.
I flashed this a few days ago (no issues during flash), but I'm having some issues now. Everything seems to run smoothly, but my battery has now been cut in half (2.5 hours SOT) and I no longer have Wifi Calling. I tried both the modem from the OP as well as the APK1 modem CP file. Any ideas what could be causing these issues?
Hi everyone,
If you've clicked on this thread you are probably just like me. You have a T-Mobile Galaxy S8 (950U) and wanted to try the unbranded/unlocked firmware. Maybe you thought it would SIM unlock your phone (Nope) or maybe you thought you'd like it but just don't. I was unable to find anyone who successfully reverted back to fully stock T-Mobile. My phone stayed XAA/XAA/TMB no matter what I did. Well, now I'm TMB/TMB/TMB and here to hopefully help you do the same.
I mostly followed this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/switch-to-carrier-firmware-100-t3609487. Here's the instructions:
1. Download Factory Binary, EngBoot, and the G950W firmware.
2. Turn off phone
3. Hold down on Bixby button + power + volume down
4. open Odin v3.12.7
5. add the Factory Binary to the AP section of Odin.
6. Plug your phone into your computer (NEEDS TO BE WINDOWS) with Odin open
7. Make sure your device is connected and recognized by Odin.
8. Click start.
9. One the phone reboots run the ADB command, adb reboot bootloader
10. Open PrinceComsy (modded) Odin and flash the EngBoot
11. Click start
12. Once the phone reboots type the command adb reboot bootloader
13. Put the HOME_CSC of the G950W firmware into the CSC part of Odin 3.12.7 (NOT PrinceComsy)
14. Click start
15. Open IME setting on Factory Binary
16. Type in *#243203855#
17. Select XAC
****NOTE ABOUT 15-17: A bunch of system processes kept saying they were force closing, but I just kept saying OK until I could successfully type the code into the dialer and select XAC. It worked, even with those processes supposedly failing.****
18. Click install
19. Wait for phone to reboot
20. Once it does open terminal and type in adb shell
21. Then type in echo "TMB" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
22. Type in exit into adb shell
23. Type in adb reboot bootloader
24. Flash the G950U T-Mobile firmware without Userdata. Also make sure to flash the non-home CSC.
25. Enjoy your reverted back to T-Mobile 100% stock phone.

Happy to give you credit man. I spent days asking on four or five threads if anyone had converted their T-Mobile S8 back to 100% stock. I found no one. One guy mentioned he got his Verizon S8 back to stock.
I found the carrier switch thread ...which gave great instructions, but didn't tell you anything about where to get these files. So I searched around to get the files and spent a good two hours trying and failing until it worked. I figured a thread with not only the instructions, but also all the files you need...would be helpful.
I'm on XDA a few times a year when a new phone comes out. I could literally care less about "credit." However, I can tell you do...and I am thankful for your instructions. I would honestly have no problem with me deleting this thread, having you copy the text, and then you can post the same thing again only with your name as the thread maker. Let me know.

If you follow all the steps to change the CSC to TMB, then at the very end flash the unlocked G950U1 firmware, does the phone still identify as TMobile? And would you be able to get the TMobile updates (like the 6/7 update)?

Nope, the systems are different. The updates are also different. The G950U1 ones come from samsung the others come from TMobile.

Gotcha. Thanks for your replies. Main reason I'm worried about staying on the unlocked firmware is Samsung's horrible reputation for updates last time around. I'm afraid we won't get the updates on this firmware until 6 months after the carrier versions.
Can I use this ROM and instructions to switch from Verizon S8 to Tmobile S8 Rom?

Help
When I try to flash the home_csc in the CSC spot odin then click 'start' odin says Fail!SHA256 is invalid.
I thought if we just flashed 950u1 firmware we could just flash straight back to the tmobile stock firmware in the same method.
So this whole thread is about 950U1, which is the S8, what about S8+? I have a T-Mobile S8+, flashed the unlocked version firmware, wanted to go back, but this instruction only deals with 950U1, what about 955U1?
Ok, i can say if you just flashed the 950u1 or 955u1 firmware with modified odin. All you have to do is flash the tmobile firmware with official odin and then do a data reset from the bootloader menu.
I was able to go right back to official tmobile firmware and get OTA updates.
NEW Instructions: Dated July 10th 2018
Should work on all Snapdragon USA/Canada models (ATT , verizon, sprint, tmobile tc) Tested on S8+ and S8, should work on Note 8 if you have right files. S9 switched to a different CSC format, so it's not possible to use this method for S9 models.
Keep your Jio/Any other VoLTE enabled indian carrier SIM in the phone all along.
Check your Bootloader version first (Download matching files only)
(Identify your bootloader version > Go to Settings > About phone > Baseband version under software info should show something like G955USQU4CRE9 The fourth number from right is your bootloader version. If you try to flash any lower version (BL 3 to BL 2), ODIN will fail and phone will show Fused 3 binary 2 error. So, choose the file versions matching your bootloader. You can go higher but not lower. Means BL 2 can be flashed with BL 3 or 4 but not with 1 (most of the times).
1.Back up your data using Samsung smart switch or any other means (save whatsapp chats to google in settings)
2.Flash matching stock firmware (On unzipping stock FW, you'll get AP, CP,BL and CSC files. Use Odin to flash them) (Don't flash User data file if it's there in extracted files)

5. Open Odin (princecomsy version) and click on AP, choose the file you extracted in step 4
6. Put your phone in download mode (hold the Power button, Volume Down button, and the Bixby button until Download mode screen is seen. Press Vol up to confirm).
7.Connect your phone to PC. You should see "Added" in log of Odin and see a com port appearing on top left.
8) Click on start tab. If everything goes well, you'll see "PASS" on top left. Let it boot to Factory binary once.
9) Boot your phone to recovery mode (hold the Power button, Volume up button, and the Bixby button until samsung screen is seen).
10) Install "minimal ADB fastboot" program on PC, Copy the sec_omc.zip to your minimal ADB folder on computer (under program files on C drive).
Double click cmd-here.exe in that folder.
11) Connect your phone to your computer with your USB cable and in phone select Apply update via ADB in recovery screen (Navigate with vol bottons and select with Power btn).

14) On resulting window, if you see INS in the list, click over it and click install and select full customisation.
15 Your phone will reboot to the 'factory binary homescreen', go to ADB on your computer and type in "adb shell".
16) Type in echo "INS" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat (Please make note of the space between " and > and /)
You won't get any confirmation.
17) Now flash the full Stock firmware matching your bootloader via ODIN (BL, AP, CP, CSC files (not home csc)
18) After the flashing, phone will reboot. Don't setup any accounts yet. Boot to recovery and select "apply update via ADB" (Like step 11)
19) Sideload the CSC zip (similar to step 12) and let it reboot.
20) On reboot, you should see INS/INS/xxx under software info (xxx is your factory csc version) and VoLTE icon should appear.
Possible glitches
1. Phone app force closing
Reflash AP BL CP only excluding CSC
Install OMC zip via adb
2. Messaging app FC
Install S9 sms app or google messaging
2. Sprint OMADM app needs to be removed to avoid annoying notification or change notifications to low priority
To remove via ADB, turn on usb debugging
type in adb shell
you should see a dollar sign.
next type in pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.omadmspr
it should say success.
If you want to extract OMC zip for a different model device, watch this video.

The file needed to extract is attached to this post (omc extract)

Does this have the same issues as root like 80% battery and safetynet failure?
Is it possible to perhaps install the CSC and then unroot?

Isn't there any multi csc rom available for snapdragon variants

Update: now Possible to stick to stock with INS CSC.
No. There are no custom roms for US models. Soon we might get modified stock versions but all will involve Rooting first then every rom will be flashed via Flashfire only.
So we have to give up Spay etc that depend on Knox.

Mine is 8+.
Make sure you have a jio sim inserted during the process.
Anyway.. try this zip with Only INS CSC in it (previous one had XAA-usa unlocked CSC also) and report.
If that does not work, try the attached zip (Worked with s7/note 5).
Let me know which one worked.
thanks.

There's a chance once devs get a way of flashing custom builds of stock and then flash normal boot instead of engg boot after unrooting (like s7 edge).
They are still working on it. If they come up with a method... I'll try to provide an updated zip that supports such rom.(they'll be stock modified roms)
cant follow instructions
hi.. unable to follow instructions to do it correctly... any video tutorials or in depth instuctions for novice like me will help greatly... reason i am writing to u is am from hyd as well. any help will be appreciated ... thanks

As u mentioned in ur thread, after finishing all the process how to flash new firmwares through flashfire. Please give me step by step method. only systemimg file or whole zip or ap and all files.
Hi The link for rooting is for the S8+ should we use the same files for the S8?

This is specifically for indian carrier, JIO 4G.
Now that root is available, We can install S8 india CSC and get VoLTE on USA-Snapdragon sim unlocked phones.
First root with the help of this thread till Part 1
Then during part 2, instead of "Add CSC Systemroot" file, use the modified file with India and XAA-USA CSC
This will flash INS CSC along with XAA CSC. This zip was made by @jrkruse for US carriers... I've just added INS CSC to it and removed other US carriers stuff.
Or.. If you just want Indian CSC Use this file (no XAA) https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-Kp4aJsfti2NFhFR2NtRHc3ajA
Download only one of the 2 files please..
Order in flashfire should be Wipe > System.img.ext4 > QG2_ADD_INS_CSC_SYSTEMROOT.zip
It might take a few seconds to acquire signal. if not, try toggling aeroplane mode off and on, then see.
VoLTE is working for me. (I have a sprint version of s8+)
If still fails, make sure you have Jio Sim in the phone while you are doing this procedure.
Credit goes to respective thread owners to whom i linked (Root team and jrkruse).

Try a different download...Sprint firmware flashed fine on unlocked version
I was able to get it to flash onto my unlocked by enabling only UMS/PATCH in Odin, not USERDATA, and after I had let the unlocked firmware provision the device with a T-Mobile SIM.
Also, I have the latest T-Mobile firmware if someone can get me somewhere to upload it. Downloaded it using Smart Switch this morning. N950USQU1AQI5

I will be picking up the unlocked model today and have T-Mobile. I assume you are in the same boat? Have the unlocked model, and then flashed the tmobile firmware?
As for uploading, if you have a google drive account, you should be able to upload it there and then make the file public. That or MEGA should work just fine.
Do you have a short guide of how you flashed the tmobile firmware?

I tried making a thread with the download link to the new firmware but I don't have enough posts to do so.
Here's a Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2hgX_SwidPzcEhIWDJ1ZGRRbjQ
In terms of flashing, I put my T-Mobile SIM into the device with unlocked firmware and let it provision (it, oddly, took about a half hour before mine did, but it should have been instant). After it reboots after provisioning I boot into download mode. I used Prince's Odin and in the ini file I changed UMS/PATCH=0 to UMS/PATCH=1. Start Odin, connect phone (in download mode) select the 5 files with the appropriate button but select USERDATA with the UMS button. Start, wait, reboot, viola.

I m trying to understand each step:
Insert the TMO sim into the unlocked Note8 (bought from Samsung).
Let the phone runs its course until it reboots (could take some time).
Boot the phone into the download mode.
Open Prince's Odin and change UMS/PATCH=0 to UMS/PATCH=1. Do you make the change in the Odin3.ini?
After the change, Start Odin and connect the phone which is already in the download mode.
Select the 5 files with the appropriate buttons (which files and which buttons?)
Select USERDATA with the UMS button (is that the USM/PATCH=1?).
Start the process and the phone runs its course until it finishes.
Am I correct? Is there a chance you can post the screenshots?
I have the unlocked one from Samsung and want to use it with Tmobile firmware to take advantage of all its features.
TIA

I have a Galaxy S8 that is FRP locked.
The exact model and version is: 8.0.0/R16NW/G950USQS3CRE2
From what I understand this has the v3 bootloader and Oreo, correct?
I need some help getting this phone unlocked. Anyone care to lend a hand? I can use Odin and ADB just fine, I just need to find the correct files needed for the version I have.
Also, if I can actually get the correct files., can someone outline the steps needed to do this? I've been trying to unlock this thing for about three weeks and my brain is turned to mush with all the things I've tried.
Please don't send me PMs trying to get me to contact through other means.

Hey. Don't worry. Frp lock is a protection for your phone this occurs when your oem lock is on. To unlock it go into developer options and then tick the oem unlock option . But for now your phone locked all you can do it flash stock firmware using odin . That's the only way . I know the data ma be precious inside the phone but it be useless until phone in not booting . So ho and flash stock firmware for your device from sammobile.com
Thats all . I hope may this helps you and inform me as soon as possible.

Yeah, flashing the firmware doesn't reset the FRP. Tried just AP, AP and BL, all five, doesn't matter. On first boot it requires the previous owner to log in. It's stored somewhere that's not touched by the flashing process somehow. Or it fails. After doing all five files on first boot it says it's installing something, gets into the 30% range, then says erasing for a bit and reboots.
Is there any way to do this?

flash a combination file factory reset from combo then flash legit bit 3 or higher firmware. The 30% failure after erasing is normal. 32% normally

Its test and diagnostic firmware released by Samsung. It is not a usable rom. You'll flash this. Factory reset from inside the settings menu. Then you can reflash official firmware. And you should be good to go unless this has been patched

So I went ahead and flashed the combination file in the first link and did a factory reset. Now when I try to flash the files I already have it fails. I'm assuming that's because I flashed a bit 5 combination firmware, and the stock files I have are not bit 5.
How do I know which firmware files I need? Do I need to do all files (BL, AP, CP, CSC) or just one? It's very hard to figure out what to do when everything I read is different.

Thank you so much for the help. I'm getting closer.
I am currently downloading a file called G950USQU5DSC1. Should be bit 5. I'm pretty sure it's for Sprint, and this phone was originally Verizon. Will this be a problem? I'd very much prefer AT&T or T-Mobile, but Verizon might be OK if I'm locked to it.

dsc1 i believe is pie which is awesome on s8 you can change carrier also with the combination file pretty much as your doing with each personalized firmware to each carrier

I'm grabbing the file from this page: https://www.theandroidsoul.com/samsung-galaxy-s8-firmware/
How can I tell which carrier is which? I'd rather just flash the correct one off the bat. Looks like the only one on that page for the 950U that is Pie is the Sprint one. I don't have a SIM. Well, I could take the one out of my current phone temporarily if it'll help set it up correctly.
Is the process for switching carriers just flashing the CSC file? Or is it more involved.
EDIT: There is a CRK1 file that is U5 and Oreo. Pretty sure that is Verizon. Cancelled the other file and am downloading this one. Going to take a while, using my phone as it's faster than my home internet.

The CsC determines sales code and carrier setup. I use sammobile or updato.com they have all firmwares needed
Boom. It worked. Typing this on the S8. Even accepted my AT&T SIM and connected to data.
Flashed an 8.0 firmware, but it seems to be getting updates. Maybe it'll update automatically to 9.
Anyway, thanks again. Free S8 is nice.

Thank you so much for the help. I'm getting closer.
I am currently downloading a file called G950USQU5DSC1. Should be bit 5. I'm pretty sure it's for Sprint, and this phone was originally Verizon. Will this be a problem? I'd very much prefer AT&T or T-Mobile, but Verizon might be OK if I'm locked to it.

that firmware is from sprint. something worth sharing is that all S8's designated for the US market are literally the exact same physically. You CAN flash whatever firmware you want for whatever carrier on a g950u. You will need a modified version of Odin to flash firmwares originally intended for a different phone tho. I had the FRP lock on my dads old S5 the other day, but i was able to get thru it with my gmail information oddly enough. Not sure why google thought that authenticating use on that device per my gmail account credentials was ok, but..... ok i guess.
Once you get the phone up and running, put a sim card from whatever provider you intend on using in the phone, if it asks you for an unlock code, then youll need to get one from the original carrier it was intended for or a third party paid site. AT&T has a sim unlock tool on their own site you can try.
Teh reason i mentioned that all the S8s intended for the USA are literally identical is because you can take a sprint S8 and use it on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mob blah blah provided youve flashed the correct firmware, which is either the U1 version or the bespoke firmware for that carrier

Very good info. Thanks.
When I first booted the phone after flashing I had put my StraightTalk AT&T SIM in and it connected right away. It also started downloading and installing system updates, all the way through the Android 9 upgrade and the August security update. Pretty cool. The only thing I see is after a reboot or power on a notification pops saying that a non-Verizon SIM is installed. But that notification can be dismissed, and as far as I can see doesn't recur until next boot. So easily ignored. And there's Verizon specific bloatware. Maybe I'll download AT&T and T-Mobile images just in case. I've been thinking about carrier hopping, as I have pretty poor AT&T coverage in my area, since with StraightTalk I can get a Verizon SIM added to my plan and take my AT&T one off pretty easily.
I haven't really used the phone much yet, as I'm waiting on a case, but I'm not sure I'm going to like the Samsung skin. I'm used to a very stock Android experience, as I've only really used Motorola phones and my current Nokia 6.1. I just like plain vanilla Android. But I'll give it a shot. Already installed Nova Launcher and F-Droid.
followed everything on this thread, uploaded 5 level firmware files just fine, but now i get a "system software not authorized by at&t.." message.. any help?

It's ok. Treat it as download mode and flash
