[Q] Android Wear on custom ROM

Hi there and Happy New Year all !
This Christmas, Santa Claus has brought me an incredible LG G Watch R !
The problem is that my phone, a Wiko Darkfull only runs Android 4.2.1...
After searching on lots of forum, I found a ROM on XDA (Project SJO) which have bring my phone to Android 4.4 KitKat.
Requierements sims to be ok (Google Services, Play Store and co are in the right versions)...
But when attempting to download Android Wear from the store => incompatible Device !
I tried to modifier some build.prop entries to be recognize as a smartphone known to be Android Wear compatible but it seems not working.
I so download the apk, but this does not work "verification failed during installation".
I want to try installing Android Wear with zip package from TRWP custom Recovery but no means to put an had on this package...
Any one got an idea ?
Thanks for your replies.

samsung SM-A700FD users!!! Little info required

I'm aware of the fact that no custom ROMs are available for the A7,yet(? )
Did any of you tried xposed on 5.0.2? deodexing is required i guess, with the guide posted i see some failures.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam...to-how-to-deodex-a3-a5-a7-roms-t3214058/page3
if anyone installed Xposed on 5.0.2 please tell me how to ,with the links for recovery ,xposed framework & deodex tool
Worst thing is that when other devices seeing 6.0 and also CM13/cm12.1 but this device is leftout with no Custom Rom's(AND ITS A NO TRUE OCTA CORE?,benchmarks are poor compared to any dual core devices ...uhghhh)
But Samsung happily having sequel celebration

I tried the same guide and it failed in the end. Still trying to find exposed for 5.0.2 A700FD.
I've done it!
First you can take your files from folders app, priv-app and framework to your comp. Then you can use joeldroid batch deodexer to make deodex. I used last java 8.66. Logs of deodex are without errors.
Then i inserted these files into deodex archive. And installed it with TWRP. Script also clears dalvik-cache. When it all works you can use xposed bridge from https://yadi.sk/d/HkiW1cmGkMgRq. And install this version of xposed: https://yadi.sk/d/amilLvlmkMgQY

[Q] Updating Custom-ROM built-in Nova Launcher? [SOLVED]

Hey everyone,
I am currently using Dirty Unicorns ROM on my Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 WiFi (SM-T530) which comes with a modded version of Nova Launcher ...
I would like to update/replace it with up-to-date official Version ... since it's a built-in system-app I can't just use Nova's in-app update feature, nor can I just install the Play Store version on top ...
Maybe someone can point me to a flashable zip-file, which should solve my problems updating or - if someone knows a definite solution - fill me in with details on how to proceed.
Thanx in advance, friends
Tattva
Update
I managed to get my hands on those flashable NovaUninstall.zip & NovaUpdate.zip files which did actually uninstall the pre-installed modded Nova Launcher and installed an official version using CWRP. The installed version was totally out-dated but I could easily use it's in-app update feature.
Unfortunately the now installed latest version is refusing to work ... killed immediately upon being started ... so what now? The out-dated version contained in NovaUpdate.zip at least worked - so I guess I'm gonna backtrack older versions until one - hopefully not too old one - will work. We'll see ...
Just in case someone is experiencing similar problems I'll update this thread once I found out something new - plus: I'll attach both flashable zip-files to this post.
Live long and prosper
Tattva
Final Update (u.f.n.)
So ... here we go:
Tesla offers Nova Launcher Classic (v3.3) for downloading which seems to be working fine.
Quick Guide for updating Dirty Unicorns integrated Nova Launcher (to at least v3.3):
1. Download attached DU_NovaClassic-Update.zip
2. a) Boot to Recovery Mode (tested with CWRP)
b) flash DU_NovaClassic-Update.zip (automatically removes existing versions)
c) Clear Cache & Dalvik
3. Reboot the system
That's it … everything should be fine now and your DU running Nova Launcher Classic v3.3.
If you're happening to experience any problems message me and I'll try to figure out a solution.
Hasta la bye-bye!
Tattva
PS/Update: I just noticed that Nova Launcher updated itself to the latest version and is running smooth and flawless ... nice!

MirrorEnabler is Incompatible with my device
I'm currently running Lineage 16 on an A7 2017
I've done the first few steps, but the MirrorEnabler says its incompatible with my device and I'm lacking audio_submix file and I should contact my provider, what does this mean? And can it be fixed??
Is it compatible with ZTE Blade V7 Lite phone(Android 6 version) that has no built in screen mirroring function at all?? ?

I doubt it, except if you are running a LOS 14 (based) ROM. But try it out and report: Make a backup in TWRP, install the apks as explained in the OP and try it out. If it works, great, if it doesn't just restore the backup from TWRP and tell us in this thread if it did(n't) work.

same here. lacking audio_submix file.
I didn't get any help!
Hey I think this project is dead, so probably we won't get any response from the developers. Also I left Lineage Os for crDroid, and I am a lot happier with crDroid mainly because ScreenMirrowing is work, Hotspot, ECT. Sound works absolutely fine, you can fix some call cracks by turning off (Google's) Microphone! Here's a link , check it out and a lot of what's working in crDroid compared to Lineage Os whether 14.1/15.0 or 16. Hi, as the title says I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4(SM-T530) with Android 5.0.2 and I wonder if it is possible to have a newer Android version installed on it? Or maybe a custom rom?
I have done some searching but I can't find the required info.
Thanks for any help.

Hi DJABHipHop,
Thanks for all the work you've done.
I have a Sumsung SM-T530 (matissewifixx)
OS: Lollipop 5.0.2
Bootloader: T530XXU1BQB2
After a quick learning curve I've been following the https://www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-17-1-galaxy-tab-4-10-1#Pre-Requirements article:
1) Used Odin3-v3.10.6.exe to root my device
2) Installed the latest TWRP 3.0.0-0-.matisse.img <-- It appears you're using a newer version (TWRP-3.2.3-0_matissewifi-180918.img) - question to follow
3) Attempted (unsuccessfully) to install the lightning-17.1-20201012-UNOFFICIAL-matissewifi-Unsweetened-XDA-BUILD
I receive an Error 7 - basically not identifying my device correctly from what the error says
Now the article actually mentions this exact issue...
To install Lineage OS 17.1 on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, you need to unlock bootloader and running the latest TWRP Recovery. If you are on the old version, you will see error 7 warning text while installing the custom ROM on Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (matisse) device.

Thanks matteo,
Your tip/link has worked I've now upgraded to twrp-3.4.0-3-matisse and the 17.1 OS install has now been successful.
Good advice on the 'external' blogs... my next step is to install the 'GApps', that 'external' blog suggested some more external links to get the right Apps, more confusing for a newbie that the original article...
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
