Ok, I'm new here to xda and a new owner of a Droid X. I recently had a Fascinate and got rid of it due to it not having Froyo and it was giving me a lot of trouble.
Anyway, my question is: On my fascinate at the top of the notification area when you pulled it down there were icons to turn on or off wi-fi, nav, blutooth and airplane mode. Can this be set up on a Droid X or do I have to keep those icons on one of the home pages?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated... If I can't do it, thats ok. I will not go back to a Fascinate because of this....
Thanks for any and all help

Hide nav bar without hiding notification panel
Hello everyone, overall I'm enjoying my Moto G5 plus. An excellent phone. I have one minor quibble. The Timeweather widget reanimates everytime I unlock the phone. This is a small quibble, but I don't like waiting the 2 beats until the widget opens everytime I unlock. I prefer a widget that is just present when I unlock, like the Moto G4 Timeweather widget.
The work around I have attempted is to simply install an older Moto Widget. The Moto G4 widget will not install because it says the package is corrupted. I suspect this is because the .apk is very close to the Moto G5 widget and the system doesn't like it.
I have successfully installed the Moto Z widget. However, when I go to widgets off the home screen, the command center widget is not there!
Any help would be appreciated.
I would like to change the lg g6 navbar, maybe s8 style. any ideas?
Not without root unfortunately. I would love to do it as well. Maybe make it a bit smaller and change style.
Oh well, I like the little animation when you press the home button anyway.
You guys need to stop posting threads like this in this section. Pinned post clearly states all q&a threads go in the q&a section. Helps keep things tidy
Sorry, I was not aware of that, please delete my thread, to create another in Q & A, I do not see the option to remove my thread
there apps to customize the nav bar, but you lose the ability to add LG shortcuts (q slide and notification drop)
Here's an example of one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.navbarapps&hl=en
Hey everybody,
I searched around a lot for this but couldn't find anything that worked...
Basically I want to use gestures without the nav bar showing up at every upswipe...which it unfortunately does with the built in hide option and all those immersive app stuff.
I came across an 0pt.navbar.apk or something like that which in January seemed to only work for nougat and not oreo....
There doesnt seem to be any other apps/ adb commands/ apk files getting you around rooting
Pls help me guys, thx so much in advance
Guys pls if the answer should be somewhere around here pls send me a link or something thx :good:
I'm looking for the same. I had it on note 8, great. But that apk does not work in oreo and you do not need root. I hope a help with alternative or update of it.
Any new stuff? Maybe a new version of 0pt.navbar.apk? Thx guys

There also is a Magisk Module "Hide Navigation Bar" that works
Yo guys the new XDA app (navigation gestures)presented in yt does not work for Samsung experience android 8.0... Ma bar still keeps showing at upswipes.... Is there still no option to disable it and not only hide it?? I mean Samsung already has that hiding built in so you get more screen real estate... But at an up swipe it comes back which makes is it kind of an unsuitable solution for gestures.. Pls help- thx
