Hi. Just now i flash TWRP 3.0.2.0 on my SM-J500G (Marshmallow). Successfully install and i want to boot recovery. But something weird happen... When the logo appear, the screen changed to be yellownish colour. You should have flashed from the link you provided, that is twrp for Marshmallow, you probably flashed Lollipop one by Nick

Presently i'm running on stock oos 3.1
1.Unlocked bootloader
2.flashed hybrid recovery
3.flashing super.su-2.78.
After flashing it stucks at boot logo...it doesnt show up...how to root???

Since OS 3.** you need to flash SuperSU when systemless...If you have no idea how, simply flash the below SuperSU and you'll be root..Cheers !

Edit: No need to reinstall your OS, simply flash it on top of the one that's boot looping on TWRP or Hybrid recoveries

If you have twrp you can flash a full oxygen rom to restore it if you dont you need to Download latest full rom on your pc go in recovery mode connect phone to pc and put the zip in your storage and after that flash it via recovery mode
No it doesn't go into recovery mode it only goes into fastboot mode ..

Try this zip on your pc while phone connected and on fastboot mode It auto flashes twrp on your phone so you can try to flash oxygen os via it

that worked so do I need to flash modified SU 2.79 to root this phone or stay with the TWRP which came with the first aid script

modified SU is not going to work and have to use seemless SU . Thanks for your help which version of TWRP works without any issues with the newest Oxygen OS..

Go to Playstore and download twrp app en flash the latest compiatble version
What is needed to re-root OOS 3.5.6 if you did like me and let the OTA update your phone.

Hi it's done with me but not in your way I was realising why it is not boot loading then I came to know maybe TWRP recovery is not installed so I just wanted to flash TWRP recovery in fastboot mode there are so many people trying in different different way to switch on the mobile which got stuck and boot loop mode I found a simple way with all in one tool for Android I am giving you a description or a link below just to flash TWRP recovery and don't forget to select after flash reboot you have to select tick mark it's the best way you can boot load your phone very very simple way to do that

hi guys, just recently i flashed twrp 2.8.6.1 and flashed lineage os . and then when i reboot system , it cannot boot to boot animation , just stuck at lenovo logo with android logo . I have twrp 2.8.6.1 installed and i tried to wipe and install lineage os again but still the result is the same. how can i do about it?

Hello, i was using Skydragon 5.1.1 and it started to become slow, got optimizing apps everytime i restarted the phone, and wanted to flash to LineageOS
Figured I`d update TWRP to latest version, so I got that from their site, version 3.1.1-0 and when I wanted to boot to recovery it would become stuck at the bootscreen. Same thing with any other version over 3.0.2-0.
Used FirstAid to revert to older version of TWRP, and managed to install 3.0.2-0 again and boot to recovery normally.
With this version it seems i cannot install LineageOS because it gives an error.
How do I go about installing Nougat ? Thanks !
First u should install the 3.6.0 Firmware then try install Nougat

Hello. I tried to update TWRP by installing new version of TWRP, and now I am not able to enter TWRP at all. When I press "Recovery" it just come black screen. I was thinking to try to install TWRP again, but cant root OS (I am on Lineage 14.1 (7.1.1 or 7.1.2), which I can enter with outh problem). I tried to root with Kingroot, but it fails every time, and only other solution I have find on internet is with SU true Recovery (that I cant enter).
Question 1: How to root Lineage 14.1 with out SU instalation true TWRP (and is that possible solution on missing recovery?)
Question 2: Do somebody knows how to get to TWRP?

Screen is just black (instead of recovery there is black colour). When I downgrade to TWRP 3.1.1 everything works fine. Not being able to update to newer version of TWRP means that I can't install any Android abow version 7.1.

Official 3.2.3.1 has some issues. Try vasishath's version dt. 12/10/18 or later.
