G935U Verizon BYOP - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Can anyone with a US 935U factory unlocked phone please put their IMEI number into this Verizon BYOP confirmation please? Planning to switch to VZ postpaid but not sure whether a friend's S7E would work. Would appreciate it if someone with an S7E could confirm whether or not the phone is accepted online.

Sprint Galaxy S5. Internationally unlocked but can i domestically unlock it?

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 currently running Exodus Rom.
I live in Mongolia but I am in the states for another month before going overseas again.
Sprint gave me the MSL code (which I still don't get what I can do with this) and says that my phone is unlocked internationally. I want to know if it is truly unlocked internationally??? Is there a way I can check this?
Also, is there ANY way I can unlock my phone domestically? I'd rather not pay, but if there is a reliable way, please let me know. I have an AT&T prepaid sim and I would like to use it on this phone.
Thanks!!!
oh and the person on the phone with Sprint said that I could take the MSL code to someone at AT&T and they might be able to allow my phone to use their prepaid.
Does that sound like something that is possible?

Does the Galaxy S5 G900v come from Factory Unlocked out of the box?

Hey guys I just bought two G900v phones to use in Jamaica. Jamaica does not have LTE so I am not worried about whether or not that will work. What I want to know is if the G900v will accept a non-verizon sim cards and send/receive calls?
The advertisement said Verizon Unlocked rather than Verizon Only so I thought this meant unlocked but then stumbled upon some reviews where a few people said it would only work on Verizon. Further reading shows that in the US the G900v may only work on Verizon but internationally it is fair game.
Grateful for your replies and help. Thank you.
Good evening. Yes Verizon s5 sm-g900v is factory unlocked and will work with many gsm carriers.
Thanks liongood9.

S7 Edge T-Mobile Device can it work on Verizon?

I think I know the answer but want someone to confirm that a T-Mobile S7 Edge even unlocked/rooted will not work on Verizon because VZW is CDMA whereas T-Mobile and AT&T are GSM. Could I even FlashFire a Verizon Mod and it will work? I'm thinking no way, someone please confirm. I bought a used S7 Edge T-Mobile phone with a clean IMEI.
Thanks in advance!

Verizon unlocked?

From what i can tell Verizon phones are unlocked specially the Galaxy S8, i am looking to buy one off craiglist and wanted to check for sure if its activated on Verizon and i buy it is it unlocked or do i have to do something to it? I will be using it on Cricket and take it overseas. Few post on craiglist have written "activated on Verizon" i wanted to know if that messes up anything.
Any model number that is Verizon unlocked would also would be great
Thanks
It will work perfect on Cricket and on any overseas GSM carrier you may come across.
Thank you for replying so the whole activation with Verizon won't mess with me? Do at any point I would need his account information or Verizon account stuff?
Also is there any model number I should be getting so I can check it against the Craigslist ones

Galaxy S8 on Verizon and Tmobile

I am interested in trying Tmobile for service but have a phone issue. I currently have Verizon service with a S5. Tmobile has advised me that my S5 would not work great on their network. They suggested that I buy an S8 to give their network the proper test. But if I do not like the service coverage, I understand their S8 would not work properly on the Verizon network if I were to switch back. So, I would like to know if I purchased an S8 from Verizon would it work well on the Tmobile network. Also, if I purchased an unlocked S8 from Samsung would it work well on both Tmobile and Verizon.
Please give me your advise.

Some "unlocked " phones are gsm only and Verizon is cdma(I think the s8 and plus have all bands though not 100%sure). Make sure it's compatible 1st. I setup Verizon s5s and s6s for people on T-Mobile before besides the sim card isn't from Verizon message when you 1st boot up they worked fine for them. Make sure apns are correct and don't use Verizon message app you'll be ok to try network.

If you truly want the S8 no matter which service you end up with, get the unlocked us version (like at Best buy) it should be both GSM and CDMA.

An unlocked version from Samsung.com should serve you better on both of your carriers. I have an unlocked S8, purchased from Samsung and I use it with T-Mobile.
Read the first portion and then scroll to the bottom for fine print and you will find your answer.
